Tom Leach Roofing did a great job from start to finish. Our job included stripping two existing roofs and installing a new roof. The president, Aaron, was pleasant to talk with and attentive to detail. The roofers led by foreman Juan were incredibly hard working, very skilled, and demonstrated impressive teamwork. They gave us a daily progress report and shared their plans for the next workday. When they were finished with the roof, they cleaned everything up including the gutters, yard, driveway and patio. Our new roof looks great! I highly recommend Tom Leach Roofing and would definitely hire them again.

Tom Leach Roofing did a great job replacing my roof. Like many contractors these days, they were booked pretty far out, but ended up doing the work earlier than they had initially predicted.

The crew was fast, neat, and responsive. I don't have a huge yard, and they managed to get their work completed without damaging my landscaping.

Communication was great - they were very responsive and they addressed all the questions I had.

We hired Tom Leach Roofing to replace our roof in the mid-1990s. Still in the same house, we hired Tom Leach Roofing again in 2024. The front office was always professional and timely, and the crew was on time, organized, experienced and did excellent work. The new roof (Windsor by Malarkey roofing tiles - lovely!) looks great. Our yard was left spotless by the Tom Leach team -- no nails, packaging, pieces of old shingles, or any of the complaints we've heard from neighbors who hired other companies.

Tom Leach Roofing recently replaced the roof on my house and I would highly recommend them. They were very responsive to my questions about their bid and kept me informed as the project progressed. The crew that did the work was very professional and did a great job of cleaning the site each day and explaining the status of the work. They removed the old shingles without damaging any lawn areas or vegetation around the house. They willingly agreed to some changes in the scope of work during the project. I would definitely hire them if I had another roofing project.

TL just replaced the roof of one of my properties, and did a great job. They even finished earlier than expected, and UNDER budget by quite a bit! I am very happy with the work they did and grateful to the friend who recommended them to me. I would recommend them to anyone looking to re-roof.

Tom Leach was great with our full reroof, despite contending with the winter rain in Portland. Juan was an excellent communicator throughout the install and made sure that everything was right and that I was happy with the end result. They cleaned up at the end of each day as well, which kept things feeling sane.

We also had a skylight installed, which Juan and Porfirio did a great job installing and flashing to ensure they won't leak.

Highly recommend these folks! They've been around for a long time and have a good reputation - that says a lot.

Tom Leach did a wonderful job on my new roof. Everything went smoothly from the initial consultation with Aaron to the installation. Juan and his crew were great. It wasn't the cheapest (or highest) quote that I got, but I knew that I could trust Aaron and his team and was not disappointed. Tom Leach Roofing did a tremendous job on the replacement of our challenging and steep roof of our 1930 home.

The foreperson, Juan, was communicative, friendly, and helpful throughout the almost two week job that first involved removal of multiple layers of older roofing. The whole crew worked very hard to get the job done in a timely way during a break in winter weather, while also working to minimize the disruption.

The manager of the more administrative side, Aaron, was also extremely responsive, communicative, and helpful throughout.

Our house was a complex multi-day job with very high roofs and a cupola. It was crazy watching them do their job. It looks great and of course survived the rain great too.

We had our roof replaced by Tom Leach Roofing in May, 2025. This was a big job: a large two and one-half story house plus garage. The job was a tear-off, so a couple of layers of asphalt and a layer of shingles were removed. In addition, they installed two skylights. The Tom Leach crew did a great job. We have many bushes and plantings around the house. A large amount of debris came off the roof and a great many workers scrambled all over the house and grounds. Every tree and bush survived without damage. I am not sure how they pulled that off. The members of the crew were universally pleasant and easy to work with. The job took six days. The entire worksite was clean at the end of every day, and when they left everything left with them. The only sign they had been there was a perfect new roof.

Tom leach Roofing removed 3 layers of shingles (including the original cedar shingles!), and installed new plywood decking installed with new shingles and two skylights on my 1930 bungalow.

Daniel and his crew did an excellent job - the work was fast, professional, and high quality. They took a great deal of extra care to make sure that no nails or debris were left behind at the end of the day. And they did all of that with a smile, even though they were doing the job in 35°F December weather.

The shingle products they install are environmentally-friendly shingles made locally with recycled materials by a local company.

I couldn't be happier!

Called Tom Leach's because I have a leak in the roof. They came over, found the cause, quoted me several hundred dollars to fix it. Never heard from them again. No response to emails or phone calls after several weeks. Called a competitor, who came over within a day, fixed the leak for free. I know I need a new roof. Guess who's going to get my business for that.

Tom Leach Roofing re-roofed our house, 21 years after they did the original job. At the time, Aaron, now the owner, was one of the roofers. Aaron's crew, led by Juan, did an extraordinarily professional job on a hard roof (old house, steep pitch, curved roof...). They took great care not to damage plants, cleaned up immaculately at end of every work day, did some extra minor patchwork gratis... Everything done on time, right, good value (a quote essentially as low as the others we received, but we selected based on quality of previous job. Highly recommend!

This is the second time that we have used Tom Leach Roofing. Both times, the company performed with excellence: clean-up, care of our property, and the roof itself. They kept us informed and came on time.

Our family has had Tom Leach roof two houses. The first one was my parents' house in the early 2000s; the most recent one was my home in October of 2019. Our experience was that the estimator listened to us, and added our special requests (remove old skylights, stainless steel valleys to match the chimney flashing) without complaint; and the crew is diligent and personable, they cleaned up the grounds well, and they listened to suggestions. My wife baked them a cake on the last day. Our roof looks great; unfortunately, it makes our old paint look terrible. Guess we will tackle that next year.
