We were very pleased with the work Tom Leach Roofing did in replacing our roof. The team worked efficiently and all were hard working and courteous. When dry rot was discovered we were shown pictures right away and kept informed of additional material and time needed for the extra repairs. Their clean up was excellent both days and even overnight between the two day job all materials were left organized. Highly recommend!

Fantastic team to work with! Juan and his crew were professional, safe, creative, detailed and seemed like family! They had fun yet were very got the job done on time and within our budget. Tom Leach as a business seemed to plan for everything. Juan and Aaron kept us informed regularly and went above and beyond. They cleaned up the site at the end of each day. From the quick response to my initial query to Aaron’s timely estimate visit and to the very efficient and experienced work on my 100 year old (but still beautiful) flat garage roof done by the Tom Leach crew- I am thoroughly satisfied and highly recommend using them. The cost was competitive and it was worth it! I had 3 other bids but settled on Tom Leach roofers and glad I did.
Also, this is the second roof they have completed in the same manner- they replaced my house roof superbly in 2016!

Let's just start with WOW! The crew from Tom Leach roofing solved a flat roofed garage situation that I thought couldn't be solved without adding a peaked roof. It cost less, it looks great, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Aaron came by and looked at my roof, answering questions about how he would convert my "bathtub" garage roof a flat, still sloping slightly to drain roof. Even my concern about a wall that poked up and how water might seep down that wall, he addressed and it made sense. I did not want to have to maintain the roof with caulking every few years. He came up with a design that his crew modified slightly as they implemented so that it even looked better than I expected and does not leak!

Things that I liked about this whole experience:
- Bid given, and contract signed online with a price lock for a specific time period.
- Scheduled the job and there were no delays/changes
- When they started, they came in and cleaned my driveway and laid down a tarp to catch any debris and screws.
- The job was done quickly, and when I requested one item be modified, they did that
- The crew worked quietly and diligently, but when I spoke with them, all were so friendly
- They even fixed the gate into my back yard. Just because they are the nicest guys!
- The roof was done, looks amazing, and even though they did some carpentry work, the bid was all that I paid.
- When I had one issue that needed to be addressed (and I hate asking for this kind of thing b/c usually it's awkward), with no hesitation, Aaron said it would be fixed, and Juan came by and fixed it. Thanks Juan!
- Every bit of debris, even down to the tiniest screw, was hauled away. I was just left with a beautiful, solid and non-leaky metal roof.

So... for any roofing job, I'd hire Tom Leach Roofing. But in particular, this was a metal roof, and the shape of the top of the garage needed to be modified to get rid of the "bathtub" roof. They solved this conundrum I've been dreading dealing with for years. I've learned that not all companies know how to do metal roofs (a bumpout on my garage was done by another company--that company was great for shingled roofs, but not metal. That area leaks and I still need to fix it). Juan immediately told me what was wrong and how to fix it this summer!

This group of experienced professionals are great. I'd recommend them any time (and have)!

Tom Leach Roofing did a great job installing our new roof. The crew was very professional and cheerful. They obviously work together well and they work hard. The roof looks great, our neighbors have commented to us on how great it looks. And they did it a week ahead of schedule and on budget. Aaron was professional and always a responsive communicator.

I scheduled an appointment to get a quote on my roof. I knew the roof was in bad shape and was going to need a complete overhaul. They got me scheduled right away, showed up on time for the inspection and explained their findings and recommendations. They did not try and up sell me and were very transparent. The quote was a fair price and they got me worked into their scheduled quickly. The crew that arrived did an awesome job on the roof. They made sure to pick up each day and worked quickly. They communicated with me and sent progress pictures. I would recommend Tom Leach Roofing to anyone who is looking to have their roof replaced or repaired!

A neighbor's tree hit and punctured our roof/house during a 12/17 midnight windstorm. From initial quick estimate/response and a same-day temp roof patch to mitigate damage (worker even left me his personal cell in case it leaked) to the replacement of two slopes, to the very reasonable price---even their office person Nancy---everything was top-notch. Great communication. Aaron/estimator/ was so good to work with (has 30 years of roofing experience and understood the frustrations of dealing with insurance company, was very patient and helpful), the roofing crew was great, professional and precise, worked extremely hard to get it replaced and buttoned up, I loved those guys, left everything cleaned and spruced up. Fair price, good crew, good job. Will definitely use when we get the rest of the entire roof replaced this year. Highly recommend.

The entire team at Tom Leach Roofing were fantastic to work with. We had an estimate with days after the request. Aaron explained options available to us and we discussed issues with access. They showed up on time everyday of the job. Cleaned the yard driveway and neighbors driveway before leaving the site everyday. We checked with our neighbors during and after the work. They appreciated the efforts to avoid disruptions and confirmed the thoroughness of the clean up everyday.

JBuilt fixed our fence that was blown over during the wind storm. Jonny was there quickly and fixed the fence quickly with quality work. JBuilt and Jonny (the owner) are very talented and honest. I will use JBuilt from now on.

JBuilt LLC completed an excellent retaining wall along one side of our driveway against a slope coming down from the road (our driveway curved as it slopped down and went parallel to it). It is about 100' long and 4' high with the bottom rising up when the driveway went uphill towards the road (so the top of the wall is all at one level). It not only looks great, it has very good structure that makes us feel very good that it's going to be very firm against things like tree roots and rain. They did very well on all of the details I needed: steps (that match the wall blocks well) at the beginning for us to walk up onto the downhill slope, a short area where the wall moved into & back out of the slope so I could keep my garage/recycle carts aside from the driveway, and a nice curve "in and down" at the end of the driveway. I need to say "thanks so much!" as it looks good, was completed exactly for what we needed and they did the construction very well that didn't give us any inconveniences.

Jonny and his team are amazing! They've done several projects for me and always brings my vision to life. Great communication, shows up when planned, and I appreciate that when they start a project they finish quickly and don't leave me half done for months.

Jonny built a complicated wall and made it look simple. He had to tie into stairs on one and and build against an existing wall on the other end. Jonny and his employees were very knowledgeable about the process. Everybody was professional and friendly. We greatly appreciate the work. Larry

JB was referred to us to replace 3 rotted out porch posts. Had many disasters with previous contractors....BUT not JB. Great guy. Honest. Project finished ahead of schedule. Awesome trucks. Fair pricing. Great British accent. Has family & dog. Cool tree house for the kids. And he lives just 1.7 miles away from us. We also shop at the same convenience store on Thiessen.

Jonny has done several jobs for me all of which have been done superbly. These projects included a fireplace, large interior rock wall and gate columns. He is a classically trained mason who is really a true artisan with rock. The last project was two 9 foot columns for our gate and they look fantastic and all of the neighbors (including one who is a retired mason) have commented how nice they look. When Jonny says he will be there at a certain time he is always on time and does exactly what he says he will do and better. Jonny is an old school hard working mason who does high quality work at a fair price. I would highly recommend him for any indoor or outdoor project. As an attorney I have worked with a number of contractors both personally and professionally, and I have never seen a contractor who has been more attentive to the customer's needs and tried to do everything possible to please the customer. In my opinion, anyone who would ever have a complaint about Jonny's work would be one of those customers that you cannot satisfy no matter what you do and no matter how good the work was. I would highly recommend him for any rock project you might be considering. You won't find a better mason.

I really don’t like giving bad reviews but my experience with this contractor was surprisingly difficult. I hired him for a large job that included paving/masonry work and a lot of carpentry work as well. He was really friendly and great to work with until the woodworking portion of the project started. It was an extra difficult woodworking project and though he had the option of subcontracting a woodworker he chose to do it himself. Long story short a lot of mistakes happened once he was working on the fence and gate. It was not the mistakes that were the problem so much as how unprofessionally he dealt with them. In the end he wanted to walk and get paid and not finish the gate. When I told him that I would pay him when the project was completed he threw a fit about it and accused me of trying to get out of paying him, even though I offered partial payment and told him if he wanted to leave it unfinished I would hire another contractor to finish and subtract that from his pay. He eventually finished for the most part. He left a lot of things undone but his attitude made me believe he would do any remaining work in a shoddy way and damage my property so I just paid him to be done with it. I can see why others gave him a good review. If nothing goes wrong I’m sure he is great to work with but things can go wrong and it’s important to have a contractor that can handle things professionally.
