I dont know if they sent out a apprentice or what...guy was here a hour and a half and his great advice is to look for a gfi.....and for the advice I got a 260.00 bill with nothing accomplished...

Sorry for that I didnt mean to do 1 star I actually liked what you guys gonna do in Oregon city crosswalk really appreciate that. That crosswalk is dangerous and I almost got hit there by a police officer he naver slowed down. Thank you

I was hopefull for this place because they had great reccomendations and the receptionist was really nice and professional which is rare nowadays. Then they stood me up for my appt. And didnt call me. I called and they said sorry but that was the 1 thing I really needed was reliability.

We had a mast put in, panel changed out, and new meter installed. Great quality work! Timely, and fair price! Highly recommend!

They did two commercial jobs for me. The work was done at a quick manor. Electrician was polite. And the cost to do the work was very fare. I would highly recommend them for any serious electrical work. June, 2019

Parkin Electric worked with us at Ross NW Watergardens to install a driveway snowmelt system in Lake Oswego. The project was large, complicated, and involved a system that was new to them and us. Like most projects, there were bumps along the way, but we were always able to work them out fairly easily. It is clear that their electricians are skilled and experienced. I highly recommend Parkin Electric for any and all residential electrical projects in the Portland area.

Parkin connected our new manufactured home, added a new panel in the barn and updated the service in an old well house. The work looks great. They were very easy to work with.

Electrician was friendly and informative. We have dachshunds and she even talked to us about them defending us and barking was a defense mechanisms to protect us. Great electrician and kind person. Wow. Use Parkin Electric!

Our electric forced air wall heaters were not working correctly. The electrician who came out was very nice but did not seem very experienced. He was here for an hour or so trying to figure out what was wrong but could not figure it out. He wanted to charge us almost $300.00 dollars for the time he was here but we told him that was unacceptable as not only was nothing fixed, he didn't have any idea why it wasn't working. We decided the best compromise was to pay for the amount of a service call which was $120.00 which still seemed to us money spent with absolutely no results.

Kaleb came right on the promised time of 12:00. We discussed what I wanted done and he came up with some suggestions. I agreed with his suggestions and off to work he went. We had most of the old circuit breakers in our electrical box replaced. Our house is almost 40 years old and we were starting to have some problems. Kaleb is a true professional and Parkin is lucky to have an employee with his qualities. Any electrical work I need done in the future will go to Parkin. Thanks also to Amanda in the office---she is great

We had multiple electrical needs (repairs and new electrical run for a remodel), and hired Parkin Electric. Both times our electrician, Kaleb was absolutely amazing to work with. We have been doing an entire home remodel and are working with many different companies. Kaleb was truly one of the friendliest, most patient and amazing professionals I have had the pleasure of working with. from Parkin Electric! Our daughter and son Inlaw rent a house from us. Their electricity kept blowing the circuit breaker. They called PDX Electric and couldn’t get an appointment until December. We thought that was way too long a wait so I randomly called Parkin. They had an opening in two weeks so took it. Amanda said she would call if the had any openings sooner. With in 30 minutes she called back and had Bethany who turned out to be a phenomenal electrician at the house. She was able to diagnose and fix of the problem in less than an hour! She also took time early in the morning before a very big job rewiring an apartment building to put a surge protector on the breaker box. Bethany and Amanda were both wonderful to work with! We will continue to call Parkin Electric whenever we need anything electrical done. Thank you ladies!!!

Thought I would try out Parkin based on others reviews but in the end greatly regret this decision and should have used my normal electrician. The install was a simple light box to be installed in our dining room And Turned in to a $580 nightmare for running about 10-15 feet of wire in total. first off, The electrician was supposed to call 30 minutes in advance and just showed up without any notice. Normally wouldn’t be an issue, but with working from home I had to stop what I was doing immediately (I was on a call). They also never wore a mask or even offered to wear one during their 3.5 hour time at the house. The electrician drilled the hole for the light box too large and didn’t even have a box to fit in it. He also didn’t have a 3 switch plate on him. After $580 spent for someone to drill 3 holes in my ceiling I was then instructed to go to Home Depot to buy a light box and switch plate and finish off the wiring myself... well guess what, they do not carry one as the hole is 4.5” and larger than the normal light box.

Definitely would not use again or recommend.

Had a downed power line after the ice storm.Ben helped us out and got us up and running again. Very professional and responsive. Ben and Parkin are Definitely my go to people for anything electric .

So, great first impressions. That is definitely all I would have to say about them though. Guess I'm thankful for the few, brief free questions I got to run by a "supposed" professional. Asked for a quote and didn't get a price for anything we had originally discussed. I will definitely be going with a different company. 100%. Very disappointed that I wasted my time with them. The appraiser couldn't even spell my name correctly. And, I had to call back to ask for the quote. The appraiser didn't send it like he said he would. Maybe just a personal opinion but, in electrical it is extremely important to be overly diligent and pay very close attention to the details. He did not.

To the CEO who decided to call me and create drama, if you or your employees don't like to receive constructive criticism of how your office staff acted unprofessionally, then you don't deserve hard-working customers to support your business! Remember, without any customers, you don't have a business! That is why I canceled my service with you, I won't hire your company ever again, or give you and your company a good review!

We had an issue with our water heaters wiring. Not only were they super attentive to our hot water needs, but came out the very same day. The electrician was friendly, professional and fixed the problem. The cost was extremely cost effective. I would recommend Parkin to anyone who needs ANY electrical help. Thank you, taking cold showers are never fun!
