Hired Keystone to replace our front steps and add lighting. After only a few months, half of the lights went out. I have called/tried to reach the company several times with no response. Initially, the work was quick and the company was good to work with, but as soon as they were paid - they disappeared.

Keystone Industries replaced 50' of sidewalk and my driveway approach. The sidewalk looks great and they were careful to work with the city's inspectors and arborist so everything is in compliance. I no longer worry about pedestrians tripping.
The driveway approach, however, looks terrible. They left a hard edge or lip on the end of the driveway instead of sloping it gently down to meet the street and poured a sharp corner instead of meeting the existing curb. When I inquired about this situation, they insisted it met the city's instructions but eventually came and poured asphalt to soften the transition to the street. It all looks awful and I'm embarrassed of it. It looks cheap; the edges are ragged and look unprofessional. I don't know why that work looks so much worse than the sidewalk work. Clearly they have the ability to pour nice looking concrete if they want to.
I will probably hire another company to redo the driveway approach. But I wouldn't hire Keystone again. Oh, and the project took nearly seven weeks from start to finish, which is ridiculous. It also cost more than $10k. -
Keystone Industries helped me out with some sidewalk repairs the city forced on me a few years back and did such fantastic work that they were the only call I made this time for my driveway repair. Their crew was professional, respectful, thorough and timely. I cannot say enough about the value proposition that Keystone provides. Do yourself a favor and call Keystone for all of your concrete needs.

Keystone Industries replaced my sidewalk in front of my house, and they did a wonderful job. In less than a week they got the city permit, removed 37 ft of concrete and huge tree roots, leveled a very uneven space, got the city inspection and poured concrete. After this was done, the contractors replaced the grass that had to be removed and left my property neat. I am happy with my experience working with them.

Hired Keystone to extend a concrete driveway and walk. They were great! Luis was responsive and communicative during the initial quote and the rest of the process. We got many quotes and theirs was one of the most competitive. The crew came out when expected and asked for my preferences along the way and took the time to educate us. Even though there was bad weather, they finished up quickly and took a lot of precautions so that the pour was not compromised. It looks great and we are very happy with the job 👍

I am extremely pleased with the top-notch exterior commercial painting and gutter installation provided by Keystone Industries Inc in North Portland. Their expertise and attention to detail are commendable, and the results exceeded my expectations.
The exterior painting job on our commercial building is flawless, and the new colors have revitalized the entire property. The team at Keystone Industries Inc carefully prepared the surfaces and applied the paint with precision, ensuring a long-lasting and professional finish.
The gutter installation was equally impressive. They expertly assessed our property's drainage needs and installed the gutters with efficiency and skill. Now, our building is better protected against rainwater damage, thanks to their exceptional work.
Throughout the project, the team demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and clear communication. They were responsive to our specific requirements and completed the work on schedule, causing minimal disruption to our business operations.
I wholeheartedly recommend Keystone Industries Inc for anyone in need of exterior commercial painting and gutter installation services in North Portland. Their dedication to quality and customer satisfaction is evident in every aspect of their work. Five stars for an outstanding job! -
DON'T trust this company. they did our patio but they could not able to fix the grading of the patio and we did try to get them back to fix the problem bcz water gets collected during rainy months. The also did not seal the concrete and it got stained after one session. Get someone else to do the work. Very unprofessional.

I selected Keystone to build my backyard retaining wall for the following reasons:
1. The level of knowledge and experience shared with me by Luis Sanchez Sr.
2. The prompt, detailed quote from Luis Jr.
3. The illusion that I was working with a father/son family business (it is clear now they had nothing to do with the project past obtaining the quote)
4. The reasonable price
When the crew showed up, it was clear that the Foremen had no real knowledge of the quoted plan. There were some inconsistencies with the prep work on day one (the site was not properly excavated/leveled, vertical rebar placed directly into ground, amount of quoted horizontal rebar not present). These were issues we wanted to discuss before concrete was poured.
The second day, my husband and I both worked. I cannot adequately describe the level of shock we experienced when we came home and saw that, not only had the crew poured concrete without our "prior to pour" approval, but there were a lot of mistakes, or "miscommunications" as their team phrased it, with the design. The biggest one being the missing "L"-shaped support wall on the steepest side of the hill. When originally discussing the project, Mr. Sanchez Sr. explained the importance of having those "L"-shaped support walls, and also keeping the wall at least a foot away from our fence. On top of the missing support, concrete was poured right up to the fence line. Seeing these mistakes, we called and paused the entire project until we could figure out how best to proceed. We found several issues with the quality of the work that was done.
When attempting to address these problems with Keystone Leadership, the response I received was that I was delinquent on my 35% "prior to pour" payment, and must pay immediately. I, of course, was never informed that the crew was pouring concrete. Had Keystone followed their own written contract, we could have addressed these problems before a 60 ft. wall was insufficiently placed in my backyard. This defensive response only heightened our concerns about the quality of work their team provided.
I do hope it's not common practice for Keystone to threaten their customers for being in "breach of contract", and fabricating "delinquent" payments when met with any form of discord.
This has been a very stressful and disappointing ordeal. The only thing we can do now is wait, and hope it doesn't fall apart. -
Top notch company! Used them to evaluate a retaining wall at a home I listed in SW Portland. Luis performed the evaluation and quickly provided a in-depth report basically indicating there were no problems. He did this at no charge. As a realtor of 26 years, it is hard to find an honest professional with integrity and a great deal of knowledge. I would recommend this company to anyone needing concrete, retaining wall and various other home improvements done! Great job!

Excellent work. Lo's Contracting upgraded our bathroom and kitchen and the results are so pleasing. Mr. Lo offered a couple recommendations that really were improvements to the ideas we had and the results are amazing. Our kitchen and bathroom were completed on time and done very well. Would we hire Lo's Contracting again? Absolutely, without hesitation!

In 2017, Lo's Contracting painted our house. A few days ago, we hired window washers to clean our windows and storm windows. The window washers were unable to remove the storm windows without damaging the paint. We e-mailed Mr Amadou Lo and explained out situation. He immediately contacted us and he and his employee, Ulisses, came to our home and removed the storm windows that were a concern to the washers. Mr. Lo did not charge us a fee for doing this service. We appreciate his help and response to our needs. We highly recommend Lo's Contracting for reliability and service.

Really great company. We've worked with them twice now and they are super responsive, friendly, reasonably priced, and very attentive. They sanded and restained a deck for us and covered our cars and house with plastic, sanded, stained, and cleaned up, all in one day. Highly recommended.

I have been hiring Lo's Contracting to do various tasks for me since 2006 and they have always done a great job on sheetrock, interior and exterior painting.
Amadou is a great listener, always stays positive, his crew is very skilled and very efficient. They come out and do the job with a great eye for detail and always bring things to a great finish. -
I just had new siding, gutters, down spouts, two windows done by Lo's. They are so easy to work with, and so likeable. Marlin did a fantastic job. He was here early and stayed late. A very hard worker. I couldn't be happier the way my house turned out. I also had my bathroom done by them about 7 years ago, and it turned out beautiful. I would recommend them to anyone.
-
Amadou and his crew were pleasant, professional and punctual. They got the exterior of my house painted on time and fit me into their busy schedule when many other painters were unable to. I am very happy with the results. Pricing was competitive and we were billed the original estimate.

Lo's Contracting was professional and reliable in all phases of our housing painting project from estimate, prep work, painting, all the way through clean up. Amadou and his crew were very responsive to suggestions, and communication was excellent. I could not be happier with the results. Highly recommend Lo's Contracting!

Lo's Contracting Inc helped us replace our sliding glass door. This outfit is incredibly good. Very responsive, on time, and will communicate every step of the way. I value integrity above all else. They completed everything they said they will do. Even when the removal of the original door shed light on an interior problem, they communicated right away and gave us options to handle the issue without having to remove interior trim or replace and paint drywall. The quality of the work and professional customer service is the reason I am having them back to bid on our shower replacement.
