We have been happy clients of Maids by Trade for several years. Most of our teams, including the one today, have been led by Sandra Lopez. She has always been thorough, professional, and helpful. Once our bathroom sink came apart and I thought I would have to hire a plumber. Sandra just fixed it herself.... above and beyond her normal service. Excellent service

We have been with Maids by Trade for about 10 years and they are doing a great job. We had different teams throughout the years, they are all excellent and we appreciate our very clean house while using environmentally friendly products. Sandra and Lourdes are our current team and what can I say- everything is clean, where it should be and even the cat is happily sleeping in the chair. So, Thank you!

We've had our home cleaned by Maids by Trade for the last eight months on a biweekly schedule and we're totally satisfied. Our interactions with all of their staff, both at their office and the men/women who come to clean has always been super pleasant. Veronica and Consuelo are the team who most often come to clean our house, they're always super nice and do a fantastic job. We don't have any complaints at all.

We have used Maids by Trade for house cleaning for the last 7 or 8 years. They do an excellent job cleaning and I highly recommend them. I like that they don't use any harsh detergents or chemicals. Our current team is Maria Lopez and Maria Gomez, and they are very nice and hard working , and do a great job.

We hired Maids by Trade, which is a Portland-born company, one year ago when we first moved into our new home. We have been very happy with their service. They are punctual and thorough. (The main office is also easy to reach and will move a cleaning if, say, your parents are coming to stay and you really need the place polished.) It is an absolute pleasure to come home once a month to a mopped and dusted house with sparkling bathrooms. A cleaning service is a splurge for us, but with two full-time professional jobs to manage, it has been worth every penny. Thank you Claudia G and Maribel! Maids by Trade has been caring for our home for almost two years now, and they're still doing a fabulous job! Our team, #13, Fernando and Aridori, always go above and beyond and their work is always consistently good. This is the longest we've stayed with the same company/cleaning service, and we're really glad to have found them.

We use Maids by Trade and are very happy with their service. I look forward to cleaning day every month. The staff is professional and friendly and we always come home to a sparkling home! We have Team #11 and they do a fantastic job!

Years ago, I needed knee surgery, and my mother wasn’t able to fly across the country so she asked my husband who was a good cleaning service? He said that the guys across the street had Maids By Trade come by every week. So that was her gift to me. It was the best gift ever. 2 weeks on the couch in a clean home? Truly spectacular.
They’ve helped us out so many times - before guests arrive, etc. but the most splendid and amazing job they did was when we sold our house last year. MBT did a fantastic job helping us prep and stage our home. Then they made it amazing once again before the new owners took possession, and I should add that we have 4 cats and a Saint Bernard.
I can not recommend them more highly. They are angels.

We have been using Maids by Trade for many years (even before they changed their name from HW Housecleaning), and can recommend them highly. The communication is especially good, with email reminders and good staff on the phones. I liked that they did a walk-through to make an estimate, that their rates have gone up minimally over years, that I have thrown away my mop because they do the regular floor cleaning all over the house so well. I recommend them when friends ask.

We've been using Maids by trade for the last six years and have been very satisfied with their professionalism (good communication and responsiveness) and friendly staff. Team 7 (Johanna and Alma) do an incredible job cleaning even when the house is a bit cluttered! We have 2 large dogs and very busy lives, and Maids by Trade picks up the slack and keeps the place looking respectable.

Maids by Trade has been cleaning our house for over a year now. It's been a wonderful relationship. The team has always been dependable, flexible, and responsive to any additional requests we may have for the week. Because some weeks our house has been "used" a bit more and we need a bit more cleaning than usual -- a simple email or call to Maids by Trade is all it takes to change the routine. Two of my favorite things about Maids by Trade: you can select from a menu of service levels ( add or subtract as needed) AND it's Portland based, so it makes me happy to support local businesses.

We love Maids by Trade. We've had several different crews and each crew has been super professional and lovely to work with. The head office is very communicative and flexible when we need to make changes to our schedule or cleaning preferences. And the price is reasonable -- not the cheapest but a great value!

We have been using Maids by Trade for almost 2 years now and we love them. For my kids, it was always the reason to clean up their rooms once a month. For me as a single mom it took the weight of deep cleaning off my shoulders, so I could focus on my kids. I have used other services in the past, but for one reason or another I found myself without a good service to use and a friend recommended Maids by Trade. I have since referred other people to them because they do such a good job. I love that someone comes out to do a thorough estimate before the first cleaning so they know what we want done and what to leave alone. I highly recommend their services. Very trustworthy group.

My Maids by Trade team clean my house once a month and do a great job. They are always on time and the level of service is very consistent. I also appreciate that their schedule is flexible and the office staff is friendly and reliable. I recommend them to everyone I encounter who is looking for a cleaning service.

Sandra and Maribel cleaned my house today and it looks phenomenal! They are extremely quick, punctual, courteous, and always do a fantastic job. I have had Maids By Trade clean my house for the last several months and they have always done outstanding work. I plan on continuing to have them come by on a bi-monthly basis, and would highly recommend them to anyone else looking for a cleaning service.

I have been using Maids by Trade for about 5 years. They provide consistent high quality service and I am ALWAYS happy following my regularly scheduled cleaning day. Getting this service is a real splurge (they are reasonable price tho) but it is sooo worth it. I hope to continue with them for many years. I always get the same team (or team leader) which is great and one of the top reasons I would recommend this company to anyone.

Update review 4/24/17: This company is still a five star. The team that comes which includes Maria Lopez is super and always does a great job. Highly recommend them and will continue to use them!

We have had monthly scheduled cleanings with Maids by Trade for many years. Their crews do a quality job at a good price. As expected, over such a long time frame, a few minor issues have come up. One of the things I appreciate about the Maid By Trade team is their courteous. swift actions in addressing and resolving a situation. Another example of their great customer service is their flexibility in moving around scheduled cleanings when we have special events planned.

We had a great experience with Maids by Trade. Our team is quick, efficient, thorough and quiet. This is the first time we’ve hired house cleaners from a company and we are extremely happy with the results; we’re now on a regular schedule.

Not only they excel in the services they provide, but their customer service is very responsive and prompt with scheduling. We didn’t have enough time for an estimate so the office had to relate all the notes about our house and our pets to the team and everything workout perfectly.

Maids by Trade have been cleaning our home every two weeks for the past several years and we've been very pleased with the results. Team 4 (Sandra, Elizabeth and Ana) has been consistently excellent and we appreciate the job they've done. They work quickly and efficiently. The office has been very responsive when we needed to change cleaning dates because of vacations, etc.. The bottom line is that we highly recommend Maids by Trade to anyone looking for a cleaning service.
