A few years ago, while we were living out of the country and our house was being used as a rental, the furnace died over a weekend. ServiceNow came out quickly and replaced it with a unit that was roughly similar in specs so the tenants wouldn’t be without heat.

When we eventually moved back into the house, I noticed that the furnace rarely reached the target temperature. After paying closer attention, I realized it was short cycling. The tenants never mentioned anything, so we only discovered the issue once we were back living there.

I reached out to ServiceNow and they quickly sent a tech to take a look. After a few visits from different techs and ltroubleshooting, they concluded the furnace that had been installed was oversized for the space.

I was preparing for a fight since the furnace install was years ago. But even though it had been more than three years since the installation, they offered to remove the furnace and replace it with a brand new correctly sized unit with better specifications. They handled the whole replacement at no charge.

The new furnace has been working great.
