Ask about a part and they hung up...

Another HVAC guy gave us a diagnosis of a burned out blower motor when my A/C fan quit working... And he estimated the repair to be $1000. I called Jerry instead. Jerry found that the culprit was the fan capacitor,rather than the fan motor. He fixed in about 30 minutes and it cost me $150. Not $1000. Well done, Jerry.

Had a complete new AC put in by Jerry in 2015. The AC has never really worked well. Each year I had to put in a service call and some part was always broken or burnt out. The pipes froze over every year (even with new filters etc.) I got some excuse or other about why the AC is not as effective as the ones at my neighbors (including, “it’s just too hot outside” on a 90 degree day when my neighbors AC got their inside temperature down to 69 degrees). The AC situation in my house has been a mess (I am sitting and waiting for an emergency tech to check out this years malfunction as I write this). Frustrated and vow never to use this company again.

Rose heating installed a complete gas furnace and new duct work in our old house...couldn't be happier! Since then, they installed a system in my folks house and have been available to make service calls for my Grandmother. Great ownership!

Wish I would have called Rose Heating and cooling first. (ANOTHER COMPANY came out after making me wait a week, and then took 4 more days to give me a quote. A family recommended "🌹Rose Heating and cooling" so I decided to get a 2nd opinion ). Boy am I glad. The first company misdiagnosed and was going to cost me 500$. 🌹Rose Heating had my A.C. fixed in 20 minutes for only 150$ Thanx Jody for being quick and honest. Charged a full hour for 20 minute evaluation, never came for a follow up to fix the furnace and never answered our follow up calls for two weeks. Really, hard to be treated worse. Just forced us to find someone else. Rest of reviews must be from themselves.

Replaced my furnace and did a GREAT job. Rented the house out and about 8 months later the sump went out (not their fault) and the ceiling started to leak. My tenants let me know ASAP but I was out of town. I called Rose on a Sunday. They immediately called me back and sent one of their guys straight over... on a Sunday, valentines day, in a major Portland ice storm! TEN STARS!

Rose Heating is incredibly responsive and willing to deal with my HVAC troubles. I thought my basement leak was from the HVAC system and they came out multiple times to try to trouble shoot. It didn't end up being from the HVAC system but they were patient and understanding of my problem and explained how the system works with easy to understand details. I will recommend them to everyone! Thank you!

They can't be trusted to do the job.
I had a service call in October. A technician (actually an owner) identified that I had a bad flame roll out switch and needed a part. A month goes by with no call. So I call. Receptionist tells me the part hasnt arrived.

Today, heater is totally out; 55F in my house, and they won't come out until Monday. They had 2.5 months for a part and now its Christmas and I'm sans heat.

Lousy Company. Lousy owners.
