Alexander was fantastic. He diagnosed the issue with the dishwasher in minutes. A new heating element was needed.
Once Alexander started to replace the part the underlying cause was revealed. Vancouver has very hard water. Lime scale had surrounded the heating element. Water could not reach the heater and it burned out.
Alexander went above and beyond by telling us to run baking soda with a hot-water cycle every month. This will keep the scaling down. Thank you Repair Guys!

Max was wonderful and came out to diagnose our furnace and was able to find out it was the inducer motor extremely quick and walked us through the quote process. they called us within an hour of diagnosing and leaving and gave us an extremely fair quote for parts and labor and let us know they could be back same day! within hours they were back and had the part replaced and we can definitely tell the difference! great work all around 5 stars!

I highly recommend these guys, and will likely be my go to for HVAC updates moving forward. I needed to have someone come out to install an AC unit in the middle of the summer because I'm a straight up idiot and waited until the heatwave to get it. The people who were recommended to me told me the earliest they could come out was mid August, and quoted me an outrageous price. A quick search got me connected to these guys and they were able to get me in the same week I called. The price was more than reasonable, and the technician was efficient. They will be my go to from now on.

I wish I could give them 6 stars. Jesse and team were fantastic! The technicians are super knowledgeable and friendly. They cleaned up perfectly every day they were in our house. Communication is great, they stuck to their timelines, And they outlined several plans for us to choose from. They also have the best financing plan I could find to make it super affordable.

I used EcoHeat to replace my furnace with a central heat pump and 3 wall unit heat pumps and I could not be happier. Albert came to do the estimate and he covered details and considerations none of the 8 other companies did. He mentioned things to consider long term and explained his reasoning for why he was selecting the units he was for each space. Such detail, so conscientious, and such thoughtful design. PRICE - they were SIGNIFICANTLY lower than all 8 other bids (even with the exact same equipment). Installation went smoothly and the team was courteous, friendly, professional, and hard-working. They were really great about walking through the full system when they were done and asked me questions along the way about how I wanted to do things that would impact the aesthetics of my home and future planning for other systems. I've used dozens of contractors across 5 homes I've owned and these folks are really one of the best. The Office Manager was also very communicative and helpful in walking me through my financing options. A great team overall and solid work. My house is so comfortable now!

I've used EcoHeat for many HVAC needs over the last few years and they continue to offer an amazing level of quality work. From furnace maintenance, to installing a heat pump, to installing duct work for an upstairs heat return, they've performed excellent work given the unique challenges of my old home. A friend of mine who happens to be a GC recommended I call EcoHeat when I told him I wanted AC. Jesse and the rest of the team were extremely responsive, considering I reached out in the middle of a heat wave. Jesse took the time to explain my options, and we decided a heat pump was the best option for me due to the age of my furnace.

They were able to squeeze me in after another client rescheduled, and pulled together a great team at the last minute. Everyone was considerate and communicative, helping me understand the new technology and making sure all my questions were answered. I'm so happy with my new heat pump, and can't wait to use it!

Go EcoHeat! What an amazing company! Thomas was very knowledgeable and super easy to work with. He came out to look at our old furnace and gave us a very detailed proposal, explaining all the options. The price was reasonable. The installation was professional. The team did a good job cleaning up and explaining how to set up the Nest. We had it installed during the wildfire smoke (remember?) and within an hour or so we could feel the air quality was much more improved. Our air purifier even turned from red to green!

In sum, we had a great experience and would highly recommend them.

We've had excellent experiences with EcoHeat, a locally owned company based in SE PDX. EcoHeat installed our central AC unit in 2021, coincidentally days before the heat dome. They've provided expert system maintenance over the past few years. When we decided to replace our aged and undersized duct work this year, we knew we wanted to go with them. Jesse spent the extra time to understand our vision and to create a new design that delivers optimal levels of airflow to condition our home. The install team, led by Bombo, were fun and professional. The end result looks great and has already helped our system to work more efficiently.
