I own a Portland duplex and live in another state. During last week's cold snap the old furnace failed. I had an uncomfortable tenant to accommodate, and promptly. HVAC Appliance and Repair Guys installed a heat pump system. Now the tenant reports "working good." I'm relieved. Being distant, I particularly benefited from the cooperation I received.

Max came in on the next day to repair my furnace. Instead of suggesting replacing the entire system (since it’s old), he efficiently diagnosed the cause and replaced the broken igniter for a more reasonable price.

Reception had no idea what refrigerant recovery was and could not tell me whether it was even a service they offer. Pressured to schedule for diagnostics for hundreds just to talk to a tech to ask if they could do it.
