We had a leaky shower faucet and had just returned from the St. Vincent’s hospital after having our baby daughter. Needless to say, we needed the leak repaired ASAP or we wouldn’t have water (shut off) for our family of 5 (we also gave a 4 & 7 year old). We called and spoke with Kevin. Kevin was very sympathetic to our dire situation and arranged for a technician to come out within 30 minutes from our initial call to Cornels Plumbing!! Technician Joe arrive at our home and made us feel very cared for. He was extremely courteous, friendly, and professional. He put on shoe covers before entering our home, which we really appreciated. He quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired our leaky faucet within minutes!! We will definitely call Cornels again for all of our plumbing needs and will definitely recommend Cornels to our friends, family, and neighbors. We highly recommend Cornels and especially Kevin and Joe!!

Samuel and Venamin worked for 12 hours installing our new gas furnace, heat pump and thermostat. They were respectful of our home and when finished everything was cleaned up. They showed us each piece of equipment we purchased, items we needed to be aware of, and asked if we had any questions and answered all of them. We would highly recommend Cornels for your heating and cooling needs.

February 20206:
Cornel’s sent NathanY and Nathan B to replace an original (1964) kitchen waste pipe and to upgrade all waste pipes in the home . They arrived on time daily and always let us know if we were able to use different areas of the home. Everyday when they were done they shared what was completed and cleaned up. Both Nathan’s answered our questions and shared with us what the next day looked like. It was a pleasure to have Nathan Young and Nathan Belt in our home. I’ve done plenty of light plumbing projects over the years, but installing a new toilet wasn’t one of them. It was time for a new one, so I called Cornel’s since they put in my kitchen faucet not too long ago.
Kevin (the plumbing tech) came to the house, checked all the prerequisites (water pressure, electrical outlet for the new washlet, water heater, under sink areas) to make sure the existing plumbing was good before starting the installation.
The new toilet & wall mounted remote holder were assembled & installed in around two hours.
Kevin was friendly and thorough during the entire process, making sure I was satisfied with the job. After completion he hauled off the old toilet and the cardboard packing for the new toilet.
I would recommend Cornel’s for anyone next project.

I’d never hired Cornel’s prior to the unfortunate events that unfolded in early October: a different contractor severed our water supply line, triggering gushing and puddling water, a frantic and chaotic search for the street shut-off valve (which was buried in dirt), and then a hasty Google search for local plumbers who do emergency pipe repairs.

Thankfully, that search led me to Cornel’s. Vinnie went above and beyond, digging out way too much mud in his initial visit to triage the pipe cut situation, so he could give an accurate assessment and recommendation (repair/replace). Our temp water was set up the next morning, and Thomas, Coleman and crew had our new supply line installed via directional drill the day after that. They had it all done within about 48 hours of the original damage - remarkable! Throughout the whole process, each of them were clear and methodical in their communications, to help us understand what we needed to know. That extended to their office staff as well - Stephanie (I think? It’s been a month so my memory is fuzzy..) was extremely helpful and clear with appointments, permitting, etc.

This was not the situation we wanted to find ourselves in - having to quickly problem-solve for someone else’s mistake - but everyone on Cornel’s team exhibited empathy, communicated clearly, and acted quickly, making the repair process to restore our water service so easy. Thank you!

I had the pleasure of meeting teriffic young men .Samuel was great,very thoughtful and did an amazing job. Also Nathan was as well. What great young men.i will call Cornell for all future heating , plumbing needs.

Went with Cornel's for a full HVAC system replacement. They replaced our 18 year old furnace, 34 year old AC system and thermostat. As a pretty handy DIY'er, this was a job that I was not going to do myself and decided to turn to the pros. At every stage in the process, I had a dedicated team member who was there to clearly set expectations and deliver upon them.
I called in on a Saturday and was greeted with a wonderful customer service person who got us scheduled for the next business day. She clearly laid out what to expect and did an excellent job of relaying the notes to the service tech who came on Monday.
On Monday Wayne came and did a wonderful job scoping out the problem (the old unit had lost refrigerant and that old R22 system was no longer serviceable due to it's age and R22 no longer being available) and worked with the design engineer Mico on 4 different options for us to choose from. Paying for the work was made seamless and easy as can be through their financing partner who offered a 3-year 0% APR loan to complete the work. Work was scheduled to complete the job at the next available time. Wayne was very personable and did an excellent job explaining everything I could think of to ask. Mico was available for me to ask questions after the fact for a question I had forgot to ask during the day of.
Veniamin and Samuel were the install technicians who came and performed the work. They did excellent work and were a pleasure to work with and have in our home. The quality of work performed by both gentlemen was extraordinary, no shortcuts were taken and they did every step with quality and care. New lines were run, an electrician was brought out to perform the electrical, instead of jeopardizing re-using potentially vulnerable equipment, they installed new equipment whenever possible. Both Veniamin and Samuel were joys to work with and did excellent work. Work I am proud to show off and hope to last for many years to come.
After the work was completed, working with the home office was quick and easy. Sofia got me my invoice and the AHRI certificates.
At every point in the process I had a dedicated team member who truly cared and made every interaction pleasant. I can't recommend Cornel's enough for their attention to detail, professionalism and getting the little things right. While there may be cheaper options out there, in the end their quality speaks for itself. I would wholeheartedly recommend Cornel's to any family member needing help with their HVAC systems. A+, 10/10

Cornel’s Plumbing & Heating does it again. Our water heater stopped working last night, but Joe from Cornel’s came this morning and fixed it. I’m so grateful for Cornel’s service and excellence. As always, the problem, possibilities, and outcome were explained to me by Joe in easy to understand terms, and the Maintenance Care plan took care of any cost. With his strong background in plumbing, Joe certainly does the company proud. He didn’t go for a quick fix but researched the problem to best address it. And we had a great conversation during the process. Joe's such a genuinely nice person that he can come over to our house for coffee any time and we’d be pleased to see him.

Nathan and Jayden helped install our water heater and we were beyond impressed. They were professional, efficient, and did an excellent job with the install. They provided important information to know about the new water heater and made it very seamless. Would recommend!

I received notice of a furnace tuneup special from Cornell‘s plumbing and thought it sounded like a good idea and a good price. I could not have been more happy and comfortable with Wayne, the technician, who handled everything was such professionalism and answered questions and gave me a full rundown and report. No hard sale, no sales pitch, just very straightforward. They are now my go to company for any furnace issues. And I will definitely request Wayne. He was awesome.!!

Earlier this year I signed up for Cornel's membership plan. They proactively reached out to schedule a furnace & air maintenance that's included in the membership plan, which is great timing as we enter Fall. Tim came out for the appointment. He was informative, kind, and thorough. His expertise was evident from start to finish. I genuinely appreciated his attention to safety. He walked me through everything he was doing and I feel more informed as a steward of my appliances. On top of all that, he was beyond kind to my elder Chihuahua who also lives here. He was mindful of her presence as we looked at vents (which is where she likes to plant her bed) and went through front/back doors ensuring things were secure.

Tim from Cornel’s Plumbing, Heating, and Air did an outstanding job! He was incredibly diligent, patient, and mindful throughout the entire process. Not only was he very knowledgeable, but he also took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure all of my concerns were addressed.

I also want to give a special mention to the lady who scheduled my appointment. She was extremely sweet and went above and beyond to make an adjustment for me. That kind of customer service really stood out and made me feel cared for from the very beginning.

Overall, I’m very impressed with the professionalism and kindness from both Tim and the Cornel’s team. I highly recommend their services!

We had our 35 year old furnace replaced! David , the tech guy came in and serviced our furnace and reported back to us that he suggest an updated version. Dan in sales lead us through choosing the best product for our home.Gus and Ed came in the very next day and ended up spending a much longer time on this project than first thought! Ed came back after The Weeknd and completed the install of the thermostat and walked us through how this computerized updated thermostat works. We are warm, happy and truly grateful that Cornels took such great care of our needs and in a timely manner. Thank you, Hagan Family Lake Oswego

Jake was personable, professional and knowledgeable as he looked at our water heater situation. We felt so confident that we could trust his diagnosis and have no regrets going with Cornel’s plumbing. In fact they will be back to help us with some other plumbing needs.

Tim was great to work with for my inspection and maintenance, very thorough & friendly. Unfortunately, an issue was found with my furnace, but he kept me informed and put me in touch with his estimator for repairs.
David was outstanding…putting my mind at ease immediately with a reasonable estimate and great availability from his team to make the needed repairs.

This was my first time using Cornell Plumbing. The two techs that did the work Ben K. and Trey were nice to work with and updated me as they were going on the repairs to my tub drain and ABS drain lines underneath the house. They were able to fix something that was not on the initial scope of work for no extra charge that they found to be leaking. Gave me pictures after they were done and explained everything really well.

Super friendly and helpful tech. Had an issue with my sink and he was able diagnose the issue. Unfortunately it was a pipe replacement but it was needed. I would definitely recommend and use for future issues.

Jake from Cornel's worked on our issue of delayed hot water. Some rooms took up to 5 minutes to get hot water. Jake showed up on time, diagnosed the issue, presented options in an articulate manner and then we moved forward with the service. Install was smooth and everything works great now.

Adrian A did a great job. He was really helpful and friendly. We would probably call Cornel's again the next time we have an issue around the house.

Baxter Anderson, is a pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional member of Cornel’s Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning. He worked tirelessly to install my new tankless water heater. No time was wasted, he answered all my questions with knowledge of the product. He left my place after cleaning up after his hard work. I will definitely use Cornel’s when needed again.
