These guys are great. They help me plan a large plumbing project using PEX then they loaned me the tool, so I didn't have to buy it myself. And I got lots of great advice, including to stay away from the plastic PEX joints and use the brass. I'm glad I did, I think it's going to be much more durable.

I had to take back a ton of stuff ( just standard over buying, due to home amateur knowledge) when I was done, and they did it with zero complaints!

I read that Aboy fixes lamps. I stopped by just before closing just to ask if they could fix my lamp. Without hesitation and a few minutes later my lamp was repaired. No only was I speechless but dumbfounded when Bill said no charge!!!
I do appreciate great customer service as it’s a rarity these days and I can’t thank you enough! I’ll be back and I hope you will purvey them too! Thank you!!!

Repaired my mid-century modern lamp! Handle my broken lamp on the spot. Couldn’t be more pleased. Five star customer service. I brought my broken night stand lamp and they fixed it while I waited. Very reasonable rate, friendly and knowledgable.

Overarching lamp arm appeared to have broken in recent move. After reading the stellar google reviews, I decided to give A-Boy a try. Bill to the rescue. He screwed the arm back together in less than 5 and wouldn’t take any compensation. Made a stressful week so much better. Bringing my other lamps by next week.

These folks are always so friendly and helpful with any project. I've used their lamp repair services a couple of times now and have been very happy with the results.

I normally don't write reviews but I wanted to share that A-Boy Electric and Plumbing are fantastic!
This time I brought my van and Bill helped me out with plumbing for my new water tank. It's working great!
I'm not going anywhere else in Portland than to here when it comes to Electric and Plumbing etc, they rock!

Why would you go anywhere else! Took my "Husband's" Kitchen Sink Trap Plumbing Problem to Bill at Aboy Plumbing Hollywood store and not only did he find all the parts we needed but he also cut pipes & assembled the whole contraption so I can just take it right home and have my husband put it back together easily. Sorry the Big box stores Don't do that. Again another reason we need to shop our local neighborhood family owned stores. We'd be lost without them! Thank you Bill ,and Gary for leading me to Bill.😂 You guys are the best!😁

Wonderful customer service! I had to replace a busted toilet seat and wasn't sure how to deal with ~40 year-old grout without busting the porcelain. "Ryan" explained exactly how to do it, and - voilà- success! I'll definitely continue to buy lighting and plumbing items from A-Boy, including a new toilet when needed...

The stuff is ALWAYS helpful every time I call or visit the store. They also super knowledgeable unlike other general home improvement stores. They are my go-to place for any plumbing related issues/items.

Called ahead and asked if they re wired lamps, they said yes bring it down, I haul the lamp down to there and then they say the guy that wires the lamps is not there and does not make phone calls. I asked if I can leave the lamp there since it’s cumbersome and will be back later to talk to him. I am told they cannot wire it and they I cannot leave it.

With gratitude and a shout-out to A-Boy Plumbing for the helpful Fix-it man, Bill Bryan. I was so happy to have help from Bill Bryan to fix my broken flashlight when most people just throw such a small item away. With his expertise, collection of tools, he carefully fiddled with it. He fixed it while I watched in silent awe of his skill, and devotion to customer service. Thank you Bill Bryan!

It’s a nice store and I bought several things. I’ve been past it many times and I was looking for a specific accent lightbulb. The associate stealthy hovered around me the entire time I was there. I surrendered my backpack upon entering and would have gladly been strip searched rather than being made to feel as though I was up to no good. At one point I even placed the items I was holding in front of him and assured him I was not there to steal. I know how it is in today’s world but there is still such a thing as tact. I will never go back. These items could have easily been purchased on Amazon and I would not have been made to feel uncomfortable.

Went in for a lamp repair, the final cost ended up being half the estimate which was already lower than I was expecting and it was done in just a few hours the same day. Would recommend to anyone!

Audrey was awesome! I was looking for a replacement for a broken shower handle. They didn’t carry the part I needed, but Audrey went out of her way to identify the part, searched for it online and instructed me how to install it. She was super helpful, while not try to sell me anything. Thank you Audrey!!! I’ll definitely return to A-Boy for future needs!

I went to 2 other (big name) hardware stores who couldn't help me, or offered to sell me 3 adapters at $40. A-Boy staff had the right part for $3. In the future, I'm going to save time and come here first! Thanks guys!

We've worked with A-Boy multiple times now purchasing plumbing fixture for our kitchen and bathrooms and electrical fixtures throughout the house. They are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Their prices are excellent as well for quality product. We've found our fixtures to be cheaper than online and we get to hold/see them before buying.

They will continue to receive my business.

I had an LED light for my houseplants that suddenly stopped working. I brought it in to see if they could fix it.They were super knowledgeable and friendly and figured out what was wrong with it. I just needed to replace the AC adaptor cable. They didnt sell it there but told me where I could find it. Also didnt charge me a dime! 10/10 will go there again. I've been to this location several times before and the staff has always been very knowledgable and willing to go the extra mile to help me get my project done.

I was able to get an old swag lamp fixed and the manager Bill was so helpful! It was such a a great experience, I'll definitely be back.

In and out in less than 20 min with my beautiful old lamp that needed a cord repair to be safely used. Total cost? $16.31 including parts! What a pleasant experience and a great deal. I am so impressed with the customer service and value of this place!

A sink drain broke and needed to be replaced. I was able to receive help at the door and check out with the correct part. Thank you for excellent service!
