Our family recently hired Capitol Tree Service to trim two trees in our backyard. These trees had needed maintenance for a long time and we couldn’t be more impressed with the results. From start to finish, Capitol Tree’s expertise shone through, making the entire process smooth and hassle-free.
Jose made scheduling very easy and was quick to fit us in. His attention to detail was evident and he was extremely efficient. He and the other Capitol Tree employee worked diligently and removed all of the debris from trimming. I think they actually left the backyard cleaner than they found it!
The results speak for themselves—our trees look absolutely amazing and we’re so grateful that we hired Capitol Tree. Overall, I can't recommend them highly enough. Their professionalism, expertise, and dedication to customer satisfaction truly set them apart. If you're in need of top-notch tree trimming services, look no further. Another note : We met Jose (the owner) for the first time when he came to trim our trees and we think he is one of the kindest humans ever. Our son has special needs and wanted to introduce himself. Jose was incredibly gracious about taking time to chat with our son in a very genuine way.

Jose came to my property to drop off 6-7 yards of bark chips. I'm really thrilled with the chips I received, I use them for my pathways as well as for bedding for my pigs, chickens and garden beds. When I messaged Jose, he responded right away and delivered the bark chips the same day! Jose was super friendly and personable, and as the first contact I've had with this company I've got to say, "I love Capitol Tree Service!"

They took a 40-45 foot maple down, it was wide with tons of branches. Dropping them easy with out damage to any of our shrubs, they cleaned up the yard and leaves no mess. These are the hardest working men We've seen. Not only fast, but they care and appreciate your business. Two men did the work of 4 men.

Jose gave me a quote online to remove some lower branches on our very large, old bigleaf maple - knowing he’d have to actually climb up into the tree to saw, as well as dispose of some bigger limbs, his estimate was exactly what I assumed the job would cost. He fit me into his schedule a week later, and on the day showed up with his crew on time (early even, which was great for me), and got to work right away. The total time from arrival, to cleaning up, and then payment was a little less than an hour. He did exactly what I asked. I’d definitely use this company again.

I recently had Jose and his crew trim 4 large firs and 3 large oaks for me. They did a great job shaping up these trees and getting rid of the dead wood. Their price was very reasonable considering the amount of work involved.

The owner and his staff were very friendly and professional. They did an outstanding job of cleaning up my worksite after all the work was done. They were even nice enough to stack my rounds in my woodshed for me after they cut them: Boy what a nice touch!

Today they are back cutting a large oak down for me, as Jose discovered that this tree was too rotted to be safe to leave up any longer. Again, I thought that the cost for the work, given the amount of work involved, was quite reasonable.

I would give these guys a hearty recommendation! Nice to work with, great cleanup, and 1st rate work!

Capitol tree was on time for our initial estimate meeting, the company owner José, did a great job explaining what needed to get done and provided me a reasonable quote. I also got quotes from 5 other tree services! He offered a great price for one tree to be removed and matched the price of another company for my second tree. Best part they were able to do the job on my timeline! The crew showed up on time, did a great job worked hard and cleaned up my yard before they left. We were so pleased with their work that we scheduled them for a second job.... bottom line is I never have to look for another tree or stub service...I just need to call Capital Tree Service to get the job done!!

I was completely blown away by Capitol Tree Service (Jose). Within 3 hours of requesting services on a Saturday afternoon through Yelp, Jose promptly contacted me, arrived at my home and removed a large broken limb hanging from a tree that could have easily damaged my siding if it had fallen. Capitol Tree Service also removed a large fallen limb and cleaned up the debris on my back patio. Jose’s service was prompt & efficient at more than a fair price. My interactions with Jose were very pleasant as I found him to be very friendly & professional. I strongly recommend Capital Tree Service.

Jose did a great job. We had him trim a large willow that was over a pond as well as an additional tree. He was prompt, a great communicator, and did everything we discussed. He is a very hard worker and takes pride in his work. They cleaned up the entire site. I would highly recommend he and his company.

I highly recommend Jose and his crew for any tree service you need. The second he saw my birch tree he knew all about how to trim it to promote the tree's health, i really appreciated that knowledge and expertise. His quote was extremely reasonable, and him and his crew worked quick, only taking a bit over an hour trimming down my 30ft birch. He even went the extra mile and hooked me up with some wood chips for a path I was working on. I'll definitely be calling Capital Tree service again for any of my tree related needs.

We hired Mountain View to deal with some storm damage to a large fir and some oak trees. It was a refreshing experience with a company who obviously takes pride in their work! Such a great experience, customer service was spot on, attention to detail, timeliness, they are a hard working crew that knocked it out of the park. Johnny, Hamie, and Albert are a solid team!

Excellent service from office staff and crew. Friendly, knowledgeable, informative, quick, careful, aware of safety; and the price was reasonable. The crew cut down a big boxelder tree in my front yard; cleaned up the debris and stacked the logs for me. Very happy with the service I received.

Johnny, Owen and Phil did a professional job of removing a cottonwood tree that had become rotten in the co-dominate lead base. They worked quickly, safely and cleaned up nicely! Have used Mt View Tree Service before, and will continue to be the first call I make. Great advice on needing a city permit before removal to stay in compliance.

These guys were the third tree service company i called and after speaking with Brandon, I knew we were going to use them. We were given a very reasonable quote with great options to save money. They were friendly, prompt, and quite efficient. They cleaned up after themselves and left our yard nice and clean. Definitely will recommend.

We had a very tall Ponderosa pine tree close to our shop -power lines- and active road- 3 members of MV crew arrived 8:15AM - got to work and climbed up tree and set rope line and needed gear and roped down branches for ground crew to clear them and put into chipper and finished by cutting the big enormous trunk down in 4-5 ft pieces and cut it down to ground level- they drove off from this project by 1:00 PM - very Pleasant crew to chat with and an excellent job done - Yes hire them -5 stars

We HIGHLY recommend Mountain View Tree Service! The team is very knowledgable, skilled, hard working, and their communication and customer service is outstanding! We recently had a few large pine trees trimmed back away from our home of which required skilled climbing. It was impressive to watch! They also removed a large cherry tree that was dying, to include stump removal. Paul is extremely knowledgable, and he really cares about the long term health and growth of our trees. We learned a lot from him during his assessment visit. And, the team that did the work; David, Jonathan, and Albert we’re such hard workers! They all very skilled and very polite, and they did such a fantastic job with a lot of pride and care! And, they left our property spotless! We will definitely use Mountain View Tree Service again and we HIGHLY recommend them to all our family, friends, and neighbors!

Best tree removal service in Oregon. If you need a crane to remove a fir tree or more then Mountain View is your only option. Arborist, Iaasc and Crane Operator, Marvin were flawless in their execution. Great teamwork!

I engaged Mountain View Tree Service to work on my big Maple tree to remove a center section of the tree that the woodpeckers had been working on. David, Phil, and Fernando arrived early and went to work. Soon work came to a stop as Phil discovered a nest of baby squirrels in the section of tree that was being cut. They rescued the squirrels and then finished the job. Phil removed the squirrels and put them in a hard hat in the back yard while they continued work. The momma squirrel found her babies and retrieved them after a few hours. David, Phil and Fernando did a great job, cutting away the rotten piece of the tree, cleaning up afterwards, and rescuing the squirrels. I often require work on my big old Maple tree so I am certain I will have a Mountain View Tree Service team back again in the future. Thank you to David, Phil and Fernando for being extra careful with the squirrels!
