I contracted R&R tree service to have 2 Spruce trees removed from my yard and stumps ground down. The arborist was courteous, professional and knowledgeable, and the price reasonable. The day the crew came to remove the trees did not go well on several levels, which I stated in my first review. The owner quickly responded, and followed through on her offer, succeeding in restoring my customer satisfaction and faith in their high standards of this business. For this reason I have changed my review. Thank you Jannai for your caring and efforts, you have won my loyalty.

Thank you to R & R and it's crew for a job well done. The crew was courteous and efficient. They kept me informed on the pruning and made sure it was done to my approval. We have been customers for years and will continue to call as needed. As always, the clean-up was perfect.

We've been using R&R for over 10 years, and have always found them to provide 5-star service in all areas. The owners, office staff, estimators and work crews are all great. They've performed jobs from small to large with perfection...likely hundreds of times for us without a complaint. A public shout-out and high five to all!

Great price on time did a great job on clean up couldn't ask for a better job or nicer people highly recommend

They removed a mature, messy sweet gum, a tall holly tree and a tall fir tree and ground all the stumps for a reasonable price. Their crew was a bit later than scheduled because another job took longer than expected, but they quickly tackled our project. They were very professional and definitely knew what they were doing. The sweet gum was very close to our house, and they took it down without any damage to the house or fence. We are impressed! We will hire them in the future for our tree trimming needs. The worst service I have ever had from any company ever. I would give them a negative 4 stars if I could. They were schedule to do the work at 8am and I had taken half a days vacation because I have a fenced back yard that remains locked. By 10am I had to call them and ask if they were coming and the response I got was they decided to work on someone else contract that morning but not to worry they would be there in a few minutes. When I asked why they didn't call me and let me know they said, "well it's your responsibility to call us to see if we are coming". Seriously, no lie the said that. The workers show up at 12:05 and they say that can't get to the back yard until tomorrow, and I explain to them that means I'll have to take more time off. Their Foreman was understanding and called his boss and he told me they would have an additional crew out in an hour to do the back yard while his crew did the front yard. None of that took place. His crew immediately took a lunch break and didn't begin work until 1:30 the other crew showed up at 3pm and helped a the first crew. They stopped working at 4:30 and left 4:45 telling me they would have to finish tomorrow. Day two comes and I'm on second unscheduled vacation day and they tell me they can't do all the work I asked them to because one of the line items on the invoice isn't clear that they should perform that work. We have to wait an hour for the guy who quoted the job to come out and settle the confusion and he states, "he doesn't remember me asking for that work to be done so it doesn't get done". I begrudgingly ask him to tell me how much more he would charge to complete the job and that started off I fire storm of attitude from him. The man spoke to me like I was little child, belittling me and trying to provoke me. I demanded that he remove himself from property and told him tell his men to finish whatever work they came there to do. I ask R & R to prorate my bill for not completing the entire job and their response was I signed the contract for that amount and they did nothing wrong. I paid the full amount to keep my credit clean and I hired someone else to complete the job.

8-10-21 Just saw that R&R responded to my review. Clearly I don't use this thing very often. Lady I posted this review less then a week after your botched service. If you couldn't find my invoice knowing my last name and the first letter of my first name? Well I'm wondering if your really a business??

R&R Tree service provided great customer service. They arrived on time, confirmed with me to make sure they had the right tree, then went to work. They were efficient, safe and friendly. They cleaned up the work area afterwards and it actually looked better than before they started. They had me inspect the work they did, before they left to make sure it' looked good. The price was very reasonable, in fact, my wife wanted to pay them more because they did such a great job. I would highly recommend them to others, and will probably use their service again in the future.

Wish there was a zero or negative star option. Find a different business. Be suspicious of the authenticity of any positive reviews and note how they try to discredit any negative reviewer or say it's fake - we fully expect them to do the same to this review. We used our joint email account for this review because frankly, their lack of ethics and rudeness make us wonder about the danger of getting on their bad side. R&R has atrocious customer service or a complete lack of it. We wouldn't recommend R&R to anyone, ever. We and our neighbors needed urgent help after the ice storm in 2021 when a huge tree landed partly on our garage and partly on their adjacent garage - and we ignored the bad word of mouth reviews because R&R was available. Wasn't worth it; we'd rather have the tree still sitting precariously on our garage. First, they refused to split the invoice between our neighbors work and ours for insurance purposes. Then the workers dropped part of the tree on our neighbor's house while trimming it, which did serious damage to our neighbor's siding. Then they said they'd fix it and their version of "fixing it" is having a guy show up without any scheduling / warning weeks later, in the evening, outside of work hours, without a license. After telling R&R that we / our neighbors wouldn't pay the remainder of the bill until our neighbor's damages were resolved, they didn't respond. We tried to pay the bill only to protect our credit, but their payment site is broken / buggy and wouldn't allow for payment. Then they sent a series of emails and eventually sent the bill to collections! No response to us telling them that their payment site wouldn't let us pay. No phone call. No addressing the actual issue. They are an unethical, despicable, rude, and unprofessional business. When we wrote to them about the collections notice, they had the audacity to be rude, blame us, and got snarky about every point. Never again. We will find every way to warn others about R&R with as many reviews as possible, a BBB complaint, and legal action if needed. Your reply to our review is exactly what we expected - rude and filled with lies to discredit us. We DID contact you about our concerns multiple times, before and after you sent us to collections. You are despicable people.

I did not use this company for service. However, my neighbors did to remove a tree that was cornered in both of our back yards. These men were amazing. I work nights so I was worried about the noise during the day, the mess I would have to clean up after them and them working in my back yard and leaving the gates open for my dogs to get out. Well none of these things were problems. They had the tree completely down in Two days. They cleaned up after them selves. They made sure my gates were closed EVERYTIME they entered or exited my yard. They did not make an excessive amount of noise either. Overall I was extremely impressed with this company’s attention to detail and their courteousness. I was not the person that was paying for the service so they did not owe me that kind of service but gave it anyway by treating my home and myself with respect. Highly recommend and if I ever need a tree down I know who I’ll be calling! Thank you guys and keep up the great work!

Very happy with their service. They gave me a quick and very reasonable estimate (over $200 less then 2 other companies) and were able to fit me in within a few days even though I live outside Salem. The girls that answer the phones were really nice and listened to what I needed. The guys that came did a very good job. They made sure I was happy with what was done and actually went back on the roof and trimmed a large branch that I was worried about without seeming like I was putting them out which I found really nice. When they were done they made sure the mess was completely cleaned up too. Would definitely recommend R&R Tree Service.

They do great work for much cheaper than most other companies in the area. Three man crew dropped 12 trees around our house in 2 days. Very professional and friendly, answered all my questions, and excellent work.

We had Matthew's crew remove a 100ft tall pine tree from our back yard. They did a great job and were as careful as possible, which is saying a lot because they had to dodge a chicken coop, rabbit hutch, and a fence. Matthew went the extra mile to make sure we had a good experience.

We have used R&R a few times and it's time to write a review to express what a great service, they always do a quality job. Very reasonable prices, on time and friendly, polite staff. We highly recommend this company for tree or shrub work.

Wow, I'm glad we hired R and R Tree Service! The office staff are very friendly and the crews are responsive and on time. The day of, we showed them around our yard expressing our needs and concerns and they listened attentively and did exactly what we asked and actually finished ahead of schedule. I would recommend them to all my friends and family. Their price was the best of the 5 estimates we got as well.

I could not be more pleased. Three workers showed up promptly to trim back my white paper birch tree. They were respectful, fast, efficient and their clean up was meticulous. The cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend using their services. Thank you Joe and crew!!!

What a crew! Prompt scheduling, quote on point, knowledgeable arborists, job finished flawlessly in a day. Had a huge dead tree in a precarious location of the back yard, hanging over 2 neighbors homes and fences, the crew took care of business! Thank you R&R.

Today their crew removed 2 huge trees in less than half a day. They were so thoughtful, friendly & efficient. They throughly cleaned up the entire area plus some.
I absolutely would recommend them for any tree job needed.
