An incredibly honest, great company. They came out for an estimate on a tree pruning job and immediately let us know the tree was actually a city tree and the city will prune it once contacted. We had two estimates prior, both in the $1,000-$1,400 range. The unbelievable honest and professional knowledge of all things related to trees is unlike any company I have ever worked with. A big shout out to Brandon for his incredible experience and honesty. I will recommend them to everyone, there are not many professional, honest and friendly companies out there so Mountain View is a uniquely INCREDIBLE company, don’t look any further for your tree needs, Mountain View is absolutely the best in Salem!

MTV came and pruned my overgrown crab apple. The guys were friendly, knowledgeable and asked me every step of the way if I wanted something different or if something needed fixing which they readily did. Great cleanup too. Fantastic job! I have been the landscape consultant for Wenzel Nursery for several years and I always recommended MTV for residential tree pruning. Definitely the best.

The 3 person crew that helped me with a few trees being removed, were fantastic. The did the job professionally, arrived on time, and went the extra mile in great service. When Jarrod came out to give me the estimate, he also went above and beyond what he needed to do.

Got an estimate from them for trimming my tree. To my surprise I was told I need not need trimming but most likely it was in my soil. They referred me to internet side call (my soil) to send in for tree help. They could have easily told me a trim would help, but were honest and helpful.

I had an arborist come out to check one of my trees for safety, and honestly the whole experience was tree-mendously good. They didn’t try to branch out into any upsells or leaf me stressed out — just straight, honest info. From the first call to the visit, everyone was friendly, professional, and actually easy to talk to. The arborist clearly knew their stuff and was a real cut above. Overall, a tree-rific, root-worthy experience. I’m already pining to recommend them.

I recently had tree work done by Mountain View professionals and I was extremely pleased. This company does things right from the very first contact to the last paid invoice receipt. They are knowledgeable, prompt, responsible to the smallest details. I've worked with others over my many years caring for this property and Mountain View is hands down the best!

The team sent to remove 3 fir trees from my yard were very efficient. The cost was far less than I had anticipated. The estimate i received was the same as the final bill. I would definitely use them again!

We needed to remove two trees and have those two stumps ground along with another stump. The work was completed on the dates they said and the work was very professional. The tree cutting and removal of the trunk and branches was quick and they left the area very clean. The chips from the stump grinding get left there but that makes sense. We are left feeling very impressed with the quality of their work and their great follow through.

Having read a few other recent reviews, there's not much I can add. Mountain View removed a 50-year-old very tall Douglas fir from my property yesterday. The crew were skilled, hard-working, super-strong (!), had amazing stamina, really paid attention to safety ... AND were great to talk to -- really good customer service and friendliness. I highly recommend this company!

I had three trees removed by Johnny, Albert and Karlos and they did an Excellent job. The work they do is unbelievable and they make it look like a cakewalk! I am thankful and grateful I chose Mountain View Tree Service. I highly recommend them.

I can't thank them enough they did an excellent job! I had a huge poplar tree 95 feet tall an absolute monster. It was really three trees in one. Many companies refused to take the job and another tree service quoted me $9,200. However, Mountain View Tree Service gave me an estimate of $3,850, which included obtaining authorization from the city to use the field behind my property for truck access (which would be even cheaper otherwise).

The tree is gone as of today and the area is spotless not a single small branch remains. My neighbors and I are happy that this is no longer a hazard for us. Thank you so much! May God bless you guys!

I hired Mountain View Tree Service for a full day of work because we had a large oak tree fall on our property and there were several other trees that needed to be taken down. I worked from home the day of the service, and I heard chainsaws and equipment going all day. I was very impressed by their hard work in the cold and muddy conditions. I would definitely hire Mountain View Tree Service again in the future.

These people are incredible! Tyler and Raul worked as a team like they had worked together for years. They worked with safety and customer satisfaction as their priority. My yard was cleaned up so well, you would not even know that anyone had been back there, except the missing giant tree! What professionals from start to finish. I also had the pleasure of working with Stepanie (office scheduler). She was amazing! From my very first call, to finish, I felt that she took care of everything with confidence and care. It is rare that I ever boast about everything going off without a hitch, but it did. Great communication throughout the entire process. I will DEFINITELY be using this company again!

From start to finish the professionals were "on the job"! Working tirelessly, they accomplished the removal of a large silver maple in a confined location. Cleanup left the site free of debris. The trimmer was amazing as he cut the tall limbs, roped off and dropped them "on target". He was very personable, representing the company well. Thankyou for a big job well-done!

I had limited funds on social security and Mountain View Tree service gave me a so very reasonable price. Even better was the quick service so well organized and they cleaned up as they went along. Very impressed with the entire crew. Highly recommend this company!!

This is the second time we have used Mountain View Tree Service this year and have been very satisfied each time. They also came in as the lowest bid (out of three) for this project. They arrived on time, on the wettest day on record for this date, and worked through the cold, drizzle and mud to remove three very tall maple trees from our property. We watched from our window as they scaled the trees and meticulously trimmed out branches and took down the trees. Waste all went through the chipper and was hauled away in their truck. They took the time for proper clean-up as well. Big thanks for all of the hard work in such miserable conditions!

Amazing Service. We recently hired Mountain View Tree Service for tree maintenance at Oakview Terrace in Salem, Oregon, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Brandon was our estimator and main point of contact, and he truly went above and beyond from our first conversation through final project completion. Out of six arborist vendors I scheduled onsite meetings with, Brandon was the only one who showed up on time, every time - and in some cases, he was even early. That level of professionalism immediately set Mountain View apart.

At my request, Brandon walked the property with me three separate times: first to assess and establish the bid, then to help create a clear priority list, and finally to inspect the completed work. His communication was consistently clear, thorough, and proactive. Make them my go-to tree company. Not only do they show up with adequate manpower but also the right equipment for the job. My clients were exceptionally happy with the work and the professional manner that it was done in. Received a prompt estimate for a challenging large tree to be removed. All three workers were very pleasant and professional. They took great care to protect my property and made sure that nothing was damaged.
They all worked very hard and had great attitudes, it was very nice to see people who enjoy their jobs and do it so efficiently.
