We recently had a tree limb break off, and after it was removed, we were left with a mess in our side yard. After searching around we found Mountain View and gave them a call. They generously offered a free clean up, that they could pick up between their other services that day. They showed up the next morning, the team took the time to clear away all debris—branches, leaves. My yard looked spotless, and I didn't have to lift a finger. Their attention to detail and commitment to great service made the experience hassle-free. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for professional tree care services, and great customer service. Johnny and crew (Gerardo and Carlos) just finished limb work on 2 very old fir trees. We had several trees with broken, hanging branches from the ice storm several years ago. I was amazed at how much better the trees looked after having those branches removed! A few months in, the trees have new growth and look much healthier. Mountain View and crew did exactly what we wanted them to do. The crew was professional, safe, and quick. I highly recommend them!

Mt View Tree Service is 100% professional in all aspects of there service. I had a very overgrown oak tree that was damaged in an ice storm and very uneven on one side. I was super impressed by the way they did the job and cleaned up everything to perfection. They will be my go to Tree Service anytime I am in need of trimming trees. I can't say enough about the workers, they were absolutely amazing, hard workers, polite, and worked well together.

I had several of my neighbor’s trees trimmed that were hanging over our property plus one of our trees completely removed. Everyone at Mountain View was excellent from start to finish. The office staff, estimator and tree crew could not possibly have been any better. They came to all appointments on time and were very nice to work with (which can be a rarity these days). They asked me to check on trees being trimmed and cut during the entire process, and they worked really hard to make sure everything I wanted done was completed to my satisfaction. The crew was careful of my yards and neighbors’ property and did a fantastic job cleaning up. This is the second time I have used Mountain View. Both experiences were great. I cannot say enough good things about the people and their work. I will be using them again.

Mountain View is THE BEST of the best. We had a 150’ Douglas Fir uproot and lean over our house in a windstorm. Within 3 hours of my initial call, we had an evaluation, an estimate and a team mobilized for an extremely dangerous job. The tree was in a location that was inaccessible to cranes or other large machinery. MVT put together an expert plan on securing the tree and had it de-limbed and topped the first day, working after dark. The professionalism, skill, stamina, and knowledge of everyone on the team was unbelievable. Alan, the climber, spent 2 days in the tree, precisely cutting, roping and working out the physics of the fall. The team on the ground removed huge chunks with care and efficiency. Remarkably there was no damage to our property and the crew left the jobsite all cleaned up and even put back a fence they had to remove for access. I went from believing we had lost our home to it being saved. Thank you MVT!

I was able to accept the bid on Thursday March 28 and the crew pulled up at 8am on Friday morning, March 29. Elliot and Nathan did quick work of raising the canopy of three mature western white pines and one western red cedar up to 25 feet. Removed all dead limbs and balanced all four trees extremely well. Cleaned up all debris and power blowed the entire grounds. I would recommend Mt View Tree Service.

Marvin from Mt. View came to my house to look at the work I needed done and got me over an estimate that same day and his team showed up a week later on time to start the work, I have pavers, a pond and a palm tree all surrounding the tree that I needed removed and they did so without dropping a single branch on any of it. His guys showed true craftsmanship and skill. I would highly recommend them and will surely use them again in the future.

9/25 UPDATE: It has been almost two years since Mountain View removed my sugar gum tree from my front yard. As you can see from the photos posted with this update, tree saplings have been growing from the sugar gum roots like crazy, first spring and now fall. I talked to a couple of arborists, and they were surprised that Mountain View did not offer to kill the tree stump after the cut, nor did they mention to me that I would have tree saplings growing twice a year. I had to spray the spring saplings in July with systemic herbicide to kill those roots (brown ones), and today just sprayed fall saplings (green ones). This tree cut has caused me more pain, including having to constantly communicate to my HOA of the ongoing treatment to avoid fines. I will NEVER use Mountain View or refer them.

OLD REVIEW: Solicited three bids to have two trees removed; Mountain View was the most detailed and thorough, even offering to check with City of Tigard if a permit was needed. Other two companies responded "I don't know" when I asked about permitting after receiving their bids. The neighbors are so happy, and so am I! Thank you

Mountainview did a fantastic job removing a 60’ spruce from out front yard. Throughout the whole process they’ve communicated well, were reasonably priced, and safe. Casey and Jashua performed the tree removal and were top notch!

We had lots of Viney Maple trees on our hillside that were starting to block our beautiful view again. We had them cut down two years ago with a different company but they were regrowing with a vengeance.
Mountain View came out and gave us a detailed explanation of what they would do, how they would spray them so they would not come back and a time frame for the job. We got several bids from other tree removal companies and decided to go with Mountain View. They were certainly not the cheapest but we felt that they would do the best job and spray the stumps so they will not come back.
We are so glad we went with Mountain View.
They arrived on time and after checking in with us got right to work. Crew Lead Tyler and Groundsmen Axel & Rauol did an amazing job!! We were quoted the job could take up to 4 days but they got it done in a day and less than a half. They sprayed the cut trees as they went so the tree would absorb the most and not come back. This great crew checked in with us a couple of times to make sure they got the trees we did not want. And when finished double checked with us again to make sure we were happy with the job they did. They were friendly and caring. And we couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Tyler, Axel and Rauol for giving us back our beautiful view and all the hard work you did for us. If we ever need any more tree work we will definitely be calling on you again.

Contacted them about removing several Fir trees to prepare for new construction. Arborist was timely, and professional. Gave me a quote on the spot. After after they set an appointment. They were able to get it done sooner than expected and the crew that came out spent the day falling and trimming. They were courteous and professional. All the work was completed to my satisfaction and they did an excellent job on the cleanup. Highly recommended if you need any tree service.

These guys do an awesome and very thorough job. Brandon made the schedule work to coincide with neighbors project, and the crew, headed by Will were professional, and completed the work with the upmost attention to detail. The Mountain View crew did an exceptional job removing a gigantic red oak amidst challenging circumstances. The crew and office personnel exceeded expectations on service, courtesy and quality. I recommend this company without reservation and with full enthusiasm.

Super impressed with Mountain View Tree Service! They removed a nearly 40” dbh Doug-fir with root rot that was leaning towards my garage. It was technical work on a morning with miserable weather, but their crew was efficient and professional. Very reasonable quote and thorough job. We've used Mountain View Tree over the last couple of years from cutting down problematic trees to routine tree trimming. They've always been professional and thoroughly clean up after their work. The reason for the review today is to give them a shout out. I discovered a rather large widow maker in a tree adjacent to where we park our cars. I called to have them come out and they were able to come out the same day to assess the situation but also able to remove it the same day. I can't thank them enough for the fast efficient service. Highly recommend using them.

I have used this company to take down a large pine tree and to raise the canopy of a large birch tree. Both times the crew members were very courteous and friendly and did an excellent job including cleanup afterwards. I would recommend them to anyone needing any tree service large or small.

Mt View is by far the best tree service I have ever hired. They are clearly experts in what they do. Communication was excellent from the first phone call, to the cost proposal, to confirming the appointment, to on site interactions. And they didn't leave the job site until they came and asked me if it was done to my satisfaction. We had four cedar trees taken out in a crowded row and they cleaned it up impeccably, even re-installed our stacked kayak rack and moved the boats back into place when they were done. And they cut and stacked the wood, even asking me where I'd like the wood to be stacked. Other services we have used have only cut the trunks into shorts lengths but left them laying all over the place for us to stack. Mt View used their bucket truck with a 75 foot reach (!) to prune some very mature walnut trees in the back yard, going up over the house while the truck stayed right in the driveway. Again the clean up was throughout, they even blew the twigs off the roof after they trimmed limbs above the house. Very polite and competent crew. I highly recommend Mt View Tree Service, and I won't call anyone but them in the future.
