Evergreen Plumbing was the first company I called, and while we got a couple additional quotes from other companies, they were comparable in price and we went with them - they did not disappoint!
The crew we had (Thomas mcgifford, Tom Hamilton, Sal, Andrew, and Kyle were very nice and professional. They were respectful (didn’t blast loud music though we wouldn’t have cared) did their work well, kept us informed when things had to change, and cleaned up well after themselves. At one point we asked for an additional thing to be done and instead of just charging it to us and doing it, it was explained to us that it may not hold well, instead of just trying to up charge a sale. I highly recommend this plumbing company.

We had a pipe failure in the bathroom of our manufactured home, and one failure led to another including being unable to shut off the water at the street.
They sent a guy right over and inspected the pipes. Determined that it was plastic pipes throughout and was destined for total failure.
I’m a retired general contractor, so I knew he was correct.
They sent a crew out the next morning and replaced the pipes throughout, the failing hot water heater, the connections for the washer/dryer, hot water heater, exterior hose bibs, and made everything functional again.
They installed a shut off valve, so the cities inability to make a quick repair didn’t cause us more problems.
They were quick, efficient, kind and understanding. They didn’t charge for installing the hot water heater.
Their customer service is 5 star. If it went higher, I would rate it as most excellent!!

The plumbers do an excellent job; professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. They show up ready to work and clearly know what they’re doing, which immediately puts you at ease.

I’m not entirely sure how their pricing compares to other companies. At first glance it did seem a bit expensive ,but they also did a lot of work, and in my opinion it was worth it. You definitely get quality service and thorough attention to detail.

When the first technician comes out to assess the job, they do walk you through different options and upgrades. Yes, there’s some upselling , but it’s low pressure. It felt more like being shown choices than being pushed into something. If I had an unlimited home-improvement budget, I’d probably be living that Platinum Package life. 😄
Overall, great experience, solid work, and a team you can trust. I’d use them again.
I might still get a couple of estimates just for comparison, but honestly, when your plumbing goes sideways, the easiest and most reliable route starts looking pretty great, even if it costs a little more. Peace of mind counts for a lot.

Excellent service and professional. Quick, timely fix for a broken sewer line. They came to the rescue and were flexible in considering I had put the job out for bids from several providers.

A big thanks to all the guys at Evergreen. First of all, each person was very nice & friendly. They were very conscious of keeping our house clean inside as they worked. Clean up after as well. Showed up on time. Worked their butts off and workmanship was perfect. They explained everything that was going to be done to us before work started, during the job and after work was done. Also the price was very reasonable and no hidden extra charges. A BIG shout out first to Peter. A great leader of his crew. Thanks to Carson, Mason, Daniel, Ryder, Kyle, Marcus & Tom. Really appreciated that they made double sure our dogs did not escape out the doors or gates as they were going in & out all day. Thanks again to all you guys, Doug

This guy is great. Eric is easy to talk to very polite and professional. Very understanding. Our 6 month old kitten had never visitors before and Eric was so kind to him and they even played.

So I bought a house that one might consider a "work in progress." Plumbing was shot before I moved in, though it passed inspection, and I had an excellent team install a new water heater, insulated pipes, the whole shebang, within a few days of the initial call. Very costly to me after having just bought the house of course, but they offered financing I could afford + there's a long warranty that stays with the residence. Might as well add value to my house, right?

And then - the water heater failed at the electrical connection within DAYS. I only got to take one good shower with it! And so, the next morning I called begging for help, and they came out AGAIN! New temporary water heater installed with same-day service, I couldn't believe it. Both the electrician and the plumbers (from Evergreen of course) said they'd never seen that happen with that model before. Just my luck, but the point is that they got me back up and running right before the weekend.

Everyone I've talked to here has been polite and really seems to take customer service seriously - which I can give or take with most businesses, but it's a very nice experience being treated like a valued customer. I am so lucky the first plumber I called never called me back because at this point I want to stay with this team forever. They've got real experience on the team and people who you can tell genuinely love the work they do fixing up peoples' homes.

I've used them twice. Both times there was a problem with the bill in which they over billed me. The 2nd time the entire job took less than 45 min but was billed for 1.6 hrs. Additionally they tried to bill me for a worker who came along on the job and did nothing but stand and watch the job being done. I like to think the best of people but if I wasn't on top of things I would have "GIVEN' then over $300 extra. I won't be using their services any longer.

PLUMBERS ARE NOT VACCINATED & REFUSE TO WEAR MASKS

I dont even know what to say im so livid right now. Been out of the house all week for work, but the missus noticed an issue with our sink. I told her to call a plumber and sure enough they sent one out. But the guy wouldn't wear a mask even after she asked him to, AND OFFERED ONE. Then HE had the nerve to get uppity. My wife's had covid before and so have I and while we're vaccinated I feel like from a professional perspective this shouldn't have happened regardless of politics or anything.

I'm fuming. My wife called me upset and I'm stuck across state-lines unable to do anything. I don't know about judsons salem office, but I didnt want to believe the horror stories I heard from folks around town about them. This is corvallis, I thought people were at least more PROFESSIONAL than that.

Sorry Im venting rather than reviewing. We've had work done by them in the past (hence why my wife was so eager to use them again) and they worked great, but greg (or craig? whatever plumber they sent out) had such a blatant disregard and according to my wife "an insultingly casual tone" that I don't think we'll be wanting their services any time soon.

Service was fine, did what he was supposed to do, no problems. Billing is very sketchy and disorganized. They overcharged me and it took over 3 months of back and forth phone calls, misplaced paperwork and several conversations of “I have no recollection of talking to you about this...” to get it corrected. They wouldn’t send me a bill to confirm the changes so I’m just hoping that by the time by money gets to them they don’t lose the paperwork again and tell me I haven’t paid enough. Would not use Judson’s again.

Called Judson's for an estimate to update our home HVAC system. Rob came the next day, he answered my questions and provided an estimate. I called with questions regarding the install, he didn't return the call. I emailed Rob then a day later, received an email saying because of personnel changes they couldn't handle the upgrade of the system.

This company is full of master plumbers! I've used the company at least three different times. This time, we had a leak under the kitchen sink and could not figure out the problem. The plumber showed up, diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in less than an hour.

Judsons replaced our entire HVAC system from ducting and trunklines under the floor, to the furnace in the garage and AC unit outside for hundreds less then any other estimate we received. They were extremely thorough, correcting mistakes from the original install when the house was built. They accommodated our every request along the way in a kind and curtious way. My wife has sensitivity to dust and dirt, so they setup plastic barriers when accessing our crawl space. They laid down blankets to protect our hardwood floors, and at our request, they even located our new AC unit on the other side of the house where there was more room for it. The estimator kept coming back on-site during the three days they were here to monitor progress and make sure we were happy with the work. We also upgraded to a new smart thermostat which we can control from our smart phones. Overall, Incredible price, quality equipment, and unbeatable customer service. Thank you Robin for your outstanding commitment to your customers! From now on, I will recommend Judson’s to everyone I know!

Had a Judson's electrician to inspect and fix circuit box. They efficiently trouble shot the problem and corrected it. As we hadn't used up the hour, I had a couple of other things taken care of as well. They not the cheapest out there but there a family owned company since the 1930's so they will be there when you need them.

THANK YOU Matt, Justin and Tanner!

On FRIDAY, 9/10 at 11:05 am - Dan's Leak Detection diagnosed our warped kitchen floors to a HOT WATER LEAK!

Gagles is the company we use for AC, Heating and plumbing, but they had no one extra to come out. They gave me two other names Up a Creek and Done Right - no one available either. So looking at the weekend with no hot water.

Dan called Matt from Judson's and he said his crew was quite busy with calls but would see if someone would be able to make the time. Well, Justin and Tanner answered the call and were at our house within an hour! Those lucky guys (especially Justin who got to use the crawl space) fixed TWO pipes that were leaking. Can you imagine going under a house that had two hot water leaks? Both Justin and Tanner mentioned - it was a sauna! Dan had just turned off the water maybe 2 hours before they got there! THANK YOU Justin, Tanner and Matt!

Matt called later to check on his employees and to follow up with the response. Thank you to Judson's for making the time and fixing the pipes so that we could use the hot water! I sure hope that it did not mess up any Friday night plans that Justin and Tanner had?! Thank you both! :)

We are STILL waiting on home insurance as of Sunday evening. UGH!

Can I give zero stars? I called because I have a leaking pipe in my crawl space the lady on the phone was so incredibly rude. She cut me off mid sentence to elevator music and when she came back on the line she said I just checked no one can come out today. I told her it can wait until next week if I really have to. She replied I don't know when we can get anyone next week.i asked when do u think someone can be out. She said I don't know I just work here and then HUNG UP. Single mom with two young kids I had to turn my water off at the street because of the damage inside the house the leak was causing thanks for nothing judsons plumbing

We've had all sorts of plumbing and electrical work done in our very old house and Judson's always does a great job. They're professional and pleasant to work with. They always seem to be able to identify the problem immediately and know exactly how to fix it.

Zac came to our house this past Saturday and his work was STELLAR! He left his personal phone number for us in case any problems occurred after his repairs. He even repaired two other minor plumbing issues in our home for which we are grateful. From the moment I called Judson's I received EXCELLENT customer service. Your company is the ABSOLUTE BEST plumbing company in Salem. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I would give Judson's 10 stars.

Had an issue at our house and Judson’s sent John out and he got us fixed up. We also had issues at our business office with the mini splits upstairs that were 10+ years old. They had the new ones installed within 48 hours. Thank you for getting both issues taken care of so quickly.

We had this company fix our extractor pump cost us $1100 before a year the pump went out when I called them to have the warranty on the pump honored they said that they could not find our invoice. I found the invoice finally and called them and they said they will not warranty the pump, even though it had only been nine months since it was put in. On the invoice the warranty for the work is written for 1 year and pump for five years but they are not honoring it.I have to take them to court. They did the work when they come out but buyer beware . I had another plumber come out. He said the pump that they put in was too small so I'm pretty furious with judsons

We are having a water pressure issue in our shower. We've lived in Salem for 30+ years and have known Judson's Plumbing has been around for a long time. We decided they would be our first contact. When I called their office, I spoke with a representative and asked a couple of questions to get an idea of what it may cost. The rep didn't seem to want to spend the time to give answers that would help us decide if we wanted to use their services. Because of this call and the poor customer service, we will be contacting competitors of Judson's.
