We have had ongoing excellent service from Kaps over the past 3 years. They are so friendly, communicate well, work hard and quickly, and overall provide the best service. We will continue to use them for any future needs! Most recently we had a new AC unit installed but they have also repaired our prior unit and replaced a part on our furnace. They always give great advice/recommendations and I trust their reps. Absolutely recommend them!

Austin was awesome! Super knowledgeable and passionate about his work. He was eager to educate me so that I can be self sufficient in the future. Heat was back up and running within 20 minutes. The scheduling team was also really communicative and clear.

Had a furnace blower fail Saturday morning and called Valley View on Sunday to set up an appointment because it was getting quite cold at that point. They took the time to drop off heaters shortly after I set up the appointment to help until their technician could assess the repairs necessary. The Tech came by today (Monday) and ran me through what was wrong on a surface level on my roughly 20yo unit. I appreciate the response time and information they provided. I suggest giving them a call.

My AC stopped at the start of the recent heat wave. I left an email message late afternoon and received a return call in a few hours well after typical closing hours. They communicated via email and phone to let me know what to expect. A technician showed up in 2 days and replaced the capacitor. I am totally impressed with their extra effort during an extremely busy time. Plus, they didn't charge extra during this peak call period. How can they not have 5 STARS? Thanks.

Imagine that you realize that your furnace doesn’t turn on and it’s 32 degrees outside and you’re freezing. That was this morning and after contacting a couple of companies the soonest appointment was at the end of the week. Then I contacted Valley View Heating in West Salem. They not only did what they could to work out a service call within 2 hrs. Turns out my thermostat that is only 2 yrs old went out. Easy fix as a new one was installed. Thank you for your time and service!

Showed up on time, very knowledgeable and completed furnace service/maintenance & new thermostat installation quickly. I will definitely use them in the future.

We had an initial service call that couldn't get our heat pump working again. However, Scott sent another diagnostic genius at no additional cost, who was outstanding. He diagnosed the problem, picked up the part, and returned the same day to get us running again. Both technicians were very personal and listened patiently to my many questions. Derek was especially good and persistent and his ocd was very much appreciated.

Our furnace was going in and out for a few days. Called KAP's and scheduled service for the next day. We were very pleased with the quick response, considering it's cold outside. Jon was our service tech and he was great. Very professional, friendly, on-time, and fixed the issue. Happy that we called them and will definitely use them for all future services. Thank you Jon! We appreciate you fixing our heating issue.

Too few stars available for this company - they deserve 10. This is my second time working with Valley View in three years on two homes, and I wish they were GC’s as I’d hire them for everything. Scott and Austen were delightful to work with, did the job on time for a very reasonable price, and went above and beyond to accommodate our timing. So happy to have energy efficient heat and air thanks to them!!

Wonderful and prompt service. Kept us updated on when they would arrive, even sent a of pic of the technician that would be doing the work. Their rates are very reasonable, compared to other HVAC companies estimations. I highly recommend Valley View HVAC.

Editing to add that we ended up needing to replace our unit and they did an amazing job. Also, they took extreme care to save my flowers which were planted next to the unit which I really appreciated!!!

100 percent the most superior workmanship, customer support honesty and service I have ever had the pleasure of having in my home. Scott personally worked on a way to get my washer/dryer stack installed and to get the dryer vent system created from scratch and set up properly! Both Scott and Austin gave it 110 % to get this worked out in my older mobile home. I would highly recommend them to everyone who needs HVAC service!

I couldn't get the company that installed the HVAC system to return my calls.
The HVAC system was installed in December of 2020.
My mother is 92 years old.
Her HVAC system started leaking freon the first week in July 2024.
Apparently, it takes months of going back and forth with the company's that installed the unit and the company of the unit. The Coleman company.
Coleman said they will not replace the unit. And said they need a comprehensive evaluation to make sure who's falt it is
.
However not one company can guarantee there would be no more leaks on the Coleman unit.
At 92 my mom shouldn't have to be replacing her HVAC system after 3 and a half years.
So, three months later, my mom couldn't handle the heat.
So she had no other choice then to buy a new HVAC system to get relief from the heat.
Valley View HVAC replaced the broken unit with a new one, they recommend.
Valley View HVAC gave my mom a fantastic deal, because they had come to the house six different times regarding the old 2020 unit.
Valley View HVAC also tried to negotiate with the Coleman company that made the HVAC system.
To no avail.
Valley View understood our frustration and because of my mom's age and the fact that Valley View HVAC has compassion and worked so hard and fast to make my mom conformable.
I will recommend Valley View HVAC to my family and friends and who ever else needs a Wonderful HVAC company.

Austin was very patient with my many questions and very thorough in identifying the likely cause of the problem. He offered both short term and, of course, a longer term solutions without any pressure to go with the more costly, longer term resolution.

Had a great experience with this company. Got scheduled very quickly and they were out just as fast. We had just moved into our house and didn’t know how things were set up and if they were working. They showed my husband everything and walked through things we could do to maximize the efficiency of our system. So grateful!!

Absolutely worth the call! They were able to repair my AC for less than the estimate they gave me, which was low to begin with. Other companies either wouldn't do the repair or said it wouldn't be worth the cost. Saved me from purchasing a new one just to get through the last couple weeks of high temps. Now I'll be able to wait until spring to take advantage of sales and rebates. Very satisfied with the service! Thanks again.

Scott and Austin are incredibly knowledgeable and responsive-- they replaced our furnace and installed a heat pump very quickly when our units needed to be replaced. Overall, they were a great team to work with and we would recommend them to anyone in need of quality HVAC services. Great customer service, too!

Amazing work and fast response! We lost our heat during the night and they were out to fix the furnace the next morning! Highly recommend and very friendly! Took the time to explain why the furnace was acting up.

The best company to work with! When I needed a replacement HVAC system for my house, I had no idea where to go. I'm having work done from water damage and my contractor suggested Valley View since they know I'm from Salem and referred me to them. That was the best advise I've received in years from one company to another, and since they use Valley View for their HVAC issues during a demo, or renovation they were spot on. Scott, Austin and the team were informative, absolutely correct in their knowledge, I was put at ease from the beginning. I will definitely hang on to them until I can't for anything HVAC related.

I asked ValleyView to provide an estimate for complete replacement of Heat Pump, Air Handler, and lines. They provided a detailed explanation of multiple options with all costs clearly outlined. The office staff was a pleasure to work with, as was the person who provided the estimates.

Contacted Valley View HVAC and discussed the issue my tenant was having with her furnace. Scott was very helpful and he was able to send out a technician later that afternoon. The issue was resolved quickly and they performed a furnace service and minor dryer vent repair which helped make the trip out more cost effective. I found them to be very professional and service oriented. We had excellent communications before, during and after the job. The fee for services was very reasonable as well. I highly recommend Valley View!
