My elderly parents had a plumbing problem to their kitchen sink and dishwasher. We called another company that rhymes with ShMalmedal, and they ended up being the opposite of anything good. My parents have been unable to use their kitchen for a week. Today my parents called George Morlan Plumbing. Morlan Plumbing was able to respond within the same day. Alex showed up and in 30 minutes, identified the problem, fixed the problem, showed my Dad how to do it himself next time, adjusted the lines to the dishwasher for better efficiency, adjusted the water pressure in the dishwasher to flush particles better and verified that the water heater was not degraded. This was what excellent service looks like.

It was my first trip to GMPS, and I wasn't sure what to expect. What I got was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly assistance from Austin. My first foray was to learn about the options for replacing our old, underperforming toilets. My second was a shopping trip to buy what Austin had recommended, and he provided helpful installation tips to boot.

I love this place. Prices are competitive, especially when you need something. Glad to support this place having a local warehouse.

George Morlan Water Heater Service came to the rescue today. My 8:00am call was answered and we had hot water with a new water heater by 1:00pm. Our previous water heater was also installed by GMWH 12 years ago, about the time period to expect water heater failure.
Great team work by very confident and competent employees.

I have used George Morlan many times over the years. The guys at the parts desk have provided me with invaluable information and advice.
I ordered a toilet for a very small space based on the manufacturers' specs. They were wrong. The folks at George Morland helped me return the toilet and get a replacement. The manufacturer did not make that easy.
Recently, I was installing a water heater and rushed in to purchase a small connector part before they closed. The staff worked with me and found the piece that I needed.

I haves used George Morgan to install all our water heaters for our rentals over the years. They have always been great. This time they were not. From the beginning of the experience with pricing, not getting the right address, having to come back out because new heater went off, more scheduling issues with tenant and finally out again to diagnose again. I called NW natural and watched as he tested the line that had a small gas leak that they installed. NW natural tightened it and fixed it. The whole time every time I called or tenant talked to them they said “oh - we know who you are” and my final call with them where the guy seemed truly put out that he had to talk to me. I won’t use them ever again.

I had a complicated water heater problem over Memorial Day weekend. George Morlan’s service department was fantastic in helping me solve the problem. I am super grateful to Patrick in the service department and Matt, the plumber assigned to me. Service could not have been better!

Our water heater went out this morning and by tonight the amazing George Morlan tech Alexander had us up and running again!

I received EXCELLENT service from a legendary NW company this week. I'm not even gonna tell you who because you'll know as soon as I say that for the first time on my life I needed a new hot water heater. The song is probably already in your head! Wife came in from the garage, asked me to come see a puddle. Ours was an 18-year-old unit - yikes! - obviously time to replace. Did a bit of online research, had an idea what I should expect to pay, called a buddy in the business, asked if he knew a guy. He did, would make me a deal, XX+100. From my research that was a pretty average price, not really a "deal". All the places I researched were within a couple hundred dollars of each other, so because the song was stuck in my head I checked out The King. The King has a reputation for great work, also for costing a bit more than average. I found the first rep to be accurate, not the second. The King was actually $100 LESS than my buddy's "deal", plus included a 12-year warranty, all new supply lines, etc., not to mention the peace of mind that comes from working with a company with decades of experience. I answered a few questions, hit "submit", minutes later received a quote at a surprisingly far, competitive price. Called Sunday afternoon hoping to get an appointment in the next few weeks. "Is Tuesday ok?" Yes please! Very pleasant guy, Stefan, shows up on time, checks out the situation, says "This isn't right." Asks how long I've lived here, I told him about three years. He tells me that my set-up shouldn't have passed inspection, the vent pipe was routed incorrectly and not up to code. No way I'd have known this! He re-routed the vent and corrected all the wrong that the previous owner left me and didn't charge even a dime over the original estimate. THANK YOU George Morlan Plumbing. The water heater KING. There's a reason that song is stuck in your head.

We got a special toilet flange here. It came apart on the counter. They reassembled it the wrong way, but we adamant it was right. When I went install it, it just didn't make sense, or work. We called them back and described the two options. They doubled down on their assembly version and suggested I hire a licensed plumber.
Since I was in a bind I went to Home Depot. The two older gentlemen smiled and said, "you are right, that's how it goes".
It was ironic because before purchase I said go to real plumbing shop, not Home Depot! But then the Home Depot guys were the ones with the knowledge.
Buy the specialty part here, then if you need help, head over to Home Depot for advice on assembly!

Called George Morlan for a new hot water heater. Told them they would need to lift the old one over the laundry sink. They told me it would cost 200.00 extra dollars for an extra man. I told them fine. Only one guy shows up so my husband helped him. He installs the new one it doesn't work. For over 3 hours he is trying to figure it out. Finally he says that a new front electrical display panel has to be ordered. He leaves. I call the office and tell them I paid for a new hot water heater and repairing one doesn't sit right with me. They agree and said they will send another guy out with a new tank right away. He brings not a new Heater but a new display panel..it doesn't work. He then finds a loose wire, fixes it and it all works. 6 hours later now and they ultimately didn't do what I had asked. AND no follow but call the next day. Bad customer service. Will not use them again

Attention truck drivers. When delivering to this location use the side entrance off Johnson Street. See the photo attached. Probably be best to slide your tandems all the way forward once you turn into the truck entrance. You will need to go around the front side to get around to the back. It's a very tight turn. They will get you unloaded as fast as they can, but they do not have a dock.

George Morlan Plumbing is my new go-to for any water heater issues. I tried to get immediate service when my 16 year old water heater failed. The two other companies I had quote came in significantly more. I got a quick quote on the phone and got on the schedule for a replacement the next day! They had the correct replacement model in stock and Jesse finished the job perfectly! Wow! Great experience over-all. Thank you!

The staff here are genuinely the most amazing crew. They’re helpful and understanding without ever being pushy or salesy towards us. They’re were kind to me the multiple times I’ve been and they were great to my mom when I had to send her to go get some extra parts. If you’re doing any plumbing project go see them they’ll help you out.

I went into the George Morlan Plumbing in Tigard. I needed a valve for a shower. Alex said "I'll go get it." The part number matched perfectly. Great service, friendly and knolagble. They know their stuff!

Had one of the ladies ( I guess ) try and help us. Asked about different products and she told us a total difference price of something we didn't ask for. Then asked a second question and she wouldn't even look it up. Won't go back. Looking for a lot of products for our house. Going someplace else! It was like she didn't want to work or she was to good for us!

Starting a bathroom remodel and needed some new shower ideas. Staff at George Morlan were friendly and helpful. Kesh was knowledgeable and attentive! She answered questions and provided a variety of options; thank you! We will follow up soon when further along in our project.

My water heater quit heating water!...I called Tigard George Morlan Plumbing Supply on Friday afternoon and was scheduled first thing next morning. Very professional...everything was covered on the phone. Service man, Matt, showed up as scheduled.....only took him one hour to remove the old water heater and install the new one. Paper work was exactly as told over the phone.......Matt was also very professional and it is working great!! Any water heater problem I have in future I will use them. And my plumber that I used last year recommended George Morlan to me!! Thank you for the fast, great service!!
