Liberty tree did a great job trimming my backyard tree and cleaning things up. I live in center City so my backyard is a small pad with a very large tree. I was initially worried that it would be difficult to get trimmed given the confined area to work in, but that wasn't a problem. The whole process was hassle free. Mike assessed what needed to be done quickly and provided a quote within the day. He was very knowledgeable and gave me some tips on other plants I had. Crew 7 did the work within an hour and cleaned up my backyard on top of trimming the tree. I really appreciated that extra level of service. Really pleased with their work and will be having them take care of the maintenance of this tree going forward. Before and after pics are included.

Guiseppe and the crew did a great job replacing my street tree, the sidewalk is completely clean and the tree is in great shape. So happy to have had the chance to work with Liberty, absolutely would recommend, the entire process was easy, transparent and the team was always super responsive. Thanks all!

Many thanks to Mike Duffy and his crew, Mark, Sean and Giuseppe for a great job freeing our roof and AC Units from the encroaching entanglement of vines that were adversely impacting our AC efficiency. Crew 8 did a phenomenal job cleaning up our outdoor areas and planting new viburnums and grass that will make our backyard thrive. Ownership/management was very thorough, collaborative, and communicative in scoping the job, and Dre, Jordan, and Tito were very professional and meticulous in getting the work done. I couldn't recommend Liberty enough.

The before and after. Mike and his team did a really spectacular job trimming our tree in our back yard. They were incredibly efficient and thorough. We live in a rowhome which required moving the trimmed branches through the house. They were very mindful and respectful of our home and left no trace of any mess or dirt before leaving. Would recommend.

I reached out to multiple tree trimming companies about a tree in my back yard that had nearly overtaken my back yard. Mike at Liberty Tree and Landscaping was quick to respond and came over to check out the tree right away. Not only did he advise me on how to keep it healthy and trimmed, but also advised me on a street tree out front that was struggling too. His crew Giuseppe and Rich came today to do the pruning in the back and were great from beginning to end. They were on time, quick, and left my yard cleaner than when they arrived. Best part of it all: the tree looks great. These guys are terrific to work with and I will be using them again.

We've had the privilege of working with Mike and his team since we moved to our row home in Philly. Over that time, and with Mike's help, we've very slowly made changes and additions to little city backyard. Through it all, Mike has been honest, thoughtful, and understanding - always working with us to stay in budget, be mindful of our ideas and concerns, yet free with ideas and suggestions to make our overgrown but lovely space into the oasis it has become, and to maintain it as well. Today, Mike's team got us ready for winter by removing overgrown plantings and vines, and put in two new Crepe Myrtles - I can't wait for spring to see them in bloom! His crew - Mark, Guiseppie, Sean and Rich - were efficient, careful, communicative and a real pleasure to work with - no easy task given the challenges of urban gardens with narrow alleyway entrances and blocked streets! Liberty Tree Service is very professional, Jerry(foreman) and the entire crew were very single minded in task of removing the dead tree, operated very safely and efficiently. I was impressed how quickly they all worked together and cleaned up site to the extent you wouldn't know I had a tree when they started. Property has a new fence, carport with a new roof, gazebo and above ground pool to work around without damaging and crew was aware of importance and took precautions without asking. I had three estimates from different tree removal companies and Liberty was quicker to respond with quote and least expensive, very happy I used Liberty. Crew 7 (Sean, Mark and Rich) did a wonderful job trimming the large Southern Magnolia in our backyard. They had to access the yard and remove all the tree debris through our house, which they did neatly and cleanly. At the end of the job, they cleaned up, leaving our yard neater than before they came.

I had an exceptional experience with this arborist crew—Mark, Guiseepie, Miguel and entire crew 7! Despite the challenging task of cutting down a large tree in a narrow backyard, pruning branches, and removing deep roots, they completed everything with professionalism and dedication. They even carefully removed and replaced bricks while dealing with the roots, leaving the yard in perfect condition. Their attention to detail, hard work, and commitment to doing the job right truly impressed me. Highly recommend!

Was looking for someone to help cut a tree. After reaching out to a few of the recommended people on the list by the city of philadelphia, the contractors never came through. Liberty tree was on that list and answered promptly and Mike was very accommodating with finding the best schedule that fit our needs.

Liberty Tree did a great job. Crew 7 Sean, Charles, Giuseppe and Arthur were efficient and neat in their pruning. Am looking forward to seeing sunshine through my Crepe Myrtle and other plantings in the Spring.

We loved working with this company! Our gardener recommended we call Chris White and his team and they exceeded expectations. They are very professional and do great work. Our yard was a mess after having to replace a sewer pipe and Chris outlined a plan for cleaning it up and preparing it for planting again. Crew 3 (Dave, Dre, and Tito) did a fantastic job.

We were impressed with the whole Liberty Tree team! Mike was knowledgeable and communicated the whole plan for our tree pruning. Crew 7 - Sean, Mark, and Guiseppie - arrived on time and did an excellent job pruning our very tall pear tree on a busy center city street. We will use Liberty again to maintain the health of our trees.

I can't say enough good things about the crew which Mike Duffy sent out to work on my overgrown yard. They managed to safely remove a 30 foot Bradford Pear I had foolishly let grow as a volunteer in my yard, and a similar height Privet. In addition there was a mixed hedge of Privet, Forsythia, and Red Twig Dogwood which had all gotten out of control.The members of Crew 7- Sean, Giuseppe, and Mark did a terrific job! My perennials are finally getting sun again . The guys arrived promptly, we reviewed the work needed with Mike, and then they got to it. When they completed all that was to be removed they did a great job of cleaning up. I heartily recommend Liberty Tree and Landscape Service for their excellent service!

I normally work with Liberty for the yearly care of my ash tree (emeral ash borer treatment, root treatment, pruning). This time Mark, Sean, Guiseppie from Liberty not only pruned my overgrown tree, but also removed the vines which covered an entire wall of my house. They paid attention to detail and got the job done right and efficiently. The vines are thoroughly removed including the roots. They were very courteous and professional throughout the way. They also paid extra attention not to damage the flowers in the garden. They are great team of people to work with.

Very quick, professional and safe work. Mike came out, assessed the tree we were concerned about and swiftly came up with the safest solution possible for our neighborhood and his crew. My neighbor has used Liberty for snow shoveling services for years. Yesterday, after a huge storm, I was outside struggling to clear my sidewalk when Marty and crew number 17 at my neighbors property. Instantly they stepped in and, from the goodness of their kind hearts, they cleared my sidewalk too. These guys are great. I have since signed u for their services myself and am so glad I did!

We hired Liberty to trim a difficult tree at a row home rental property in Philadelphia. The tree was in the backyard and the only access was through a long alley. As a result, we had a difficult time finding anyone who was willing to take on the job, especially at a reasonable price. Liberty has a good reputation, they promised to work hard, and provided a very reasonable price. Most importantly, unlike other companies Liberty actually had valid insurance to do tree work. Other companies I contacted said they did, but couldn't produce it when asked. Worker's comp and liability insurance was a must to eliminate potential liability for us.

We asked Liberty to remove as much of the tree as possible so we didn't have to deal with it again any time soon, and were really surprised to see that they actually got rid of more than half of the huge tree in one day! Referred to us by the City when we needed service on the maple tree in the sidewalk in front of our house, Liberty Tree is a top-notch outfit. Mike Duffy gave us a thorough diagnosis and plan of care, including managing pests and winter pruning. What's more, Mike is just a great guy. Giuseppe, Arthur, and Sean did the pruning and clean-up, and they did a great job, so there's every reason to believe the tree will flourish. Liberty Tree is not the cheapest arbor service, but I'm glad to pay a little more for reliable, professional work.
