This was our annual heater, HVAC unit maintenance and check. The tech was very informative of what he found and made recommendations. We have been a contract customer of Oliver for a couple of years now and find it very valuable.

We had a pin hole copper pipe leak on Saturday and scheduled an appt between 7 and 8 pm that night .it was in an exposed pipe in the basement . No one called back or showed up . A second call was placed at 9:30 PM and were told someone would call us back . We trusted them as we are enrolled in a priority service which would respond for 24 hr snd produce a discount . We could have called another compsny but we were in the plan . I sat with my sister until 12:30 AM so she would not be alone when s strange man visited to make repairs . No one called or showed up . In the AM hr arrived and cut the pipe in two places and added a new smaller pipe section between the cuts . Shouldered it and charged $700 . That was with the discount! Otherwise it would have been 1k ! I could have had a neighbor or another company do it for much less and no messy clean up in the AM due to continued leaking . I cancelled my special preferred $13 month service plan and so did my sister !

I recently had Oliver Heating perform the annual maintenance of my heating system and humidifier. The technician that performed the service was Judah Miller. From the moment he entered my home I was impressed with his very pleasant demeanor and his professionalism. After he briefly explained what he would be doing, I mentioned a problem with my humidifier that had occurred last year which he said he would check out. When he was finished he advised that my system was in good condition and that the humidifier was now working properly without leaking. He did not try to push for my purchase of any upgrades or any unnecessary repairs/adjustments which was most appreciated. He did remind me of the available plumbing & electrical inspections that are available. I was extremely satisfied with this appointment and will be requesting Judah Miller for my next appointment with Oliver.

We had an issue with our sump pump after the cold spell. The sump pump was spilling water into our basement. I called Oliver and within two hours Mike the plumber was at our home and opened up the wall and found the issue. He explained everything to me and replaced our sump pump and made the repairs to the discharge line. He did an awesome job and we were very happy with his work. If you have a plumbing issue ask for Mike!

Perry Robinson is an exceptional technician. This is the second time he has serviced our system with the same or better quality of service. He takes his time to explain exactly what he’s doing. He has a fantastic attitude and it is quite obvious he really knows and loves what he is doing. A great asset to Oliver HVAC

We just had our six month HVAC maintenance service with Oliver and we couldn’t be happier. Perry was on time, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly and made sure our system was running perfectly before he left. It’s always a great experience working with Oliver. Highly recommend their team and especially Perry for his excellent service.

Jonah Miller, the tech who came to do our annual furnace inspection, was excellent. He took the time to answer my questions and displayed a high level of expertise. He is also very friendly and made the whole experience quite pleasant.

Aiden McHugh came out to do the maintenance on my HVAC system. He was punctual, courteous, and very knowledgeable. Overall he did a great job and I was very pleased with everything he did. Thank you Aiden and Oliver Heating and Cooling.

We’ve been using Oliver for almost 13yrs, and we just had our heating system inspected and serviced, and once again the service was exceptional!!! Perry R was our service technician, he was both professional and knowledgeable about the system. He took the time to explain what he was doing, and even educated me a bit along the way as well. Oliver always accommodates! This is my second time having to call on short notice for an emergency appointment and they’re always more than helpful fitting you in! Our tech today Jared was so helpful and got my heat working in no time. Very knowledgeable!

My guess is that many of the five star reviews on here failed to shop around. We reached out to Oliver on the recommendation of our home inspector. They offered a 50% discount on a service contract so we figured we would try it out. They offer free plumbing, hvac, and electrical inspections which sounded like a great deal. What I now realize is that all of those inspections are sales pitches for services you don’t need.

The plumber wanted to replace multiple fixtures, some of which were new. The electrician wanted to replace the panel boxes and multiple outlets, even though the outlets were GFI and operating fine. The hvac inspector insisted we needed to rip out all systems. Total bill $125k. We passed on that.

When you do call for any actual issues, despite paying the monthly fee, you pay $89 for the visit plus $100-$200 for a diagnostic. So $200+ before any work is done. We had a plumber come out and charge us just to say that they don’t do the type of work that he recommended.

They will not let you cancel your service contract in the first year so you’re stuck paying for a service you never want to use. We did have some work done by other providers (replacing an hvac system with Air Advisor and a water heater with Pocopson Plumbing) and on average these jobs cost 50% of what Oliver quoted. This business is ripping off people who don’t shop around. Avoid them.

We have been customers of Oliver Heating and Cooling for over 25 years. Yesterday, we had our yearly heater preventative maintenance performed by Tyrone Gunby.
Tyrone called prior to arriving to our home. He was on time, introduced himself and immediately got to work and completed a thorough job. When he finished he answered all our questions and was extremely friendly and polite. We were very impressed with his service and will continue to remain happy and loyal customers.

I called Oliver HVAC Service since my heating was off because of some malfunction. The HVAC system was under warranty. Tyrone Gunby III came to inspect the problem. Tyrone spent nearly the whole day troubleshooting and fixing my heating problem. He took time to diagnose the root cause, went to his company factory to get the right part and carefully followed steps to fix the problem. Because of him, I have my HVAC unit operating tonight. I was specially worried because we are supposed to get about a foot of snow tonight. It was a delight to work with him. Such a nice, professional, customer focused guy. He gets 10 out of 10. Thank you Tyrone. It was nice working with you!

Benjamin was prompt and very professional, so far all the interactions I have had with Oliver staff has been excellent, everyone has been very helpful, positive and professional. Love the sense of a family business where the employees feel they are supported as well, everyone seems to enjoy the work they do and it shows as to how they treat their customers. I will be needing a new HVAC system and will definitely use Oliver to install.

Oliver provided us same-day service when our 18-year old gas-fired furnace stopped working on a 20-degree winter day. They diagnosed the problem (a clogged condensate drain), made the repair, and then tested and inspected the entire heating system in that visit. At the end of the visit, the technician (Fred) reviewed parts availability for our system and approximate parts costs, should future repairs be required. He also discussed (without upsellling pressure) the benefits of new systems and range of prices for new systems.

We chose to take an annual maintenance agreement, were thrilled with the service visit, pleased with the low cost of that visit, and became better educated customers overall.

We have been Oliver customers for a long time. Today Anthony Levy couldnt have been any nicer, efficient or helpful as my appointment fell at the end of the window and I did have an appointment scheduled to go to.

I was able to get to this appointment fine along with advising from Anthony about a recommended cleaning of the outside unit and Reviewing the Services perform performed.

Got the plan since I had a humidifier install a few days ago. Air feels great now. The installer (didn't get her name) and every technician since then for AC follow up w/Tymir Johnson and Michael Louden f/electrical inspection has been helpful, informative, and courteous.
