After Alpha1 serviced our heating system and replaced some worn components the whole system runs much quieter and we can barely tell when it's running (before the service it would send a mild shudder throughout the house when it kicked on). The guys were friendly and on time, the whole experience was pleasant!

Their tech Justin was knowledgeable, courteous, and transparent. He conducted a yearly service on both my AC package rooftop unit and the hot water furnace in the basement. He explained to me both the current conditions of the units, as well as what to expect for moving forward. I highly recommend Alpha 1 Heating & Cooling for your HVAC needs; and I will be using them again.

Davis installed my propane heating system and hot water tank about 5 years ago as well as converting my 2 fireplaces with propane. The lead on the installation was Kevin and he kept me informed throughout the installation. I have been very happy with the entire project. Recently I had the system get the annual inspection and again the individual Chris was prompt for the 8am visit, kept me informed and left the living area clean. I highly recommend Davis Modern Heating; pricing is good, staff are professional and good. communicators. What else could you ask for!!!!!

Dont use these guys if you have a daikan ac mini split. They sent a tech here spent 3 hrs trying to diagnose the issue. Said the motherboard was bad, but then when he is leaving said coolent may be low. Had to get another company out who diagnosed the issue right away. Did a leak check, said no issues, motherboard was fine and added coolent and fixed it. Davis does not know how to fix a daikan. Stay away. Wanted 299 for a leak check and 100 for 1lb of coolent. Other company fixed it for 200.

Unbelievable above and beyond service. FIVE stars? FIVE HUNDRED stars if I could!

We had four companies come out and give us an evaluation on our system. Davis went above and beyond by actually looking into our warranty status and found that we could still honor our warranty...EXCEPT the broken coil was going to take over a month to get, so Missy from service worked her magic and got them to give us an entirely NEW system with the warranty - which, in the middle of a northeast heatwave and two toddlers, left me absolutely SPEECHLESS.

So instead of a new $7K system (cheapest estimate we got and got as high as $15K), we only paid for labor that literally saved us THOUSANDS. With two monthly daycare bills, this almost left me in tears. Parents know every dollar matters. Davis has a customer FOR LIFE.

Unbelievable honestly/integrity - Instead of trying to push us for a new unit, they did one thing the other companies didn't. They took an extra step for us to find us the best solution possible. Truly a customer first business!

Scheduling during the week was very easy. We lucked out on a 🥵 busy Monday and got an 🗓️ appointment same day and then received a confirmation text 15min 🤳🏼 before the technician's arrival🚚 (which was great for our own planning of a busy day) ⌚.
When Chase showed up he was polite respectful (🐱 we have a pet 🐈) and efficient 😁 - absolutely terrific. 🕵🏼He checked all parts of our system, identified an issue with the AC unit, and was able to 🧑🏼‍🔧acquire and replace a broken part🛠️ . Chase had us up and running later that same day. 🙌🏼Thank you Davis for terrific and timely service.

Wow. Davis saved us again this ❄️ winter when the temps dropped well below freezing and the furnace stopped working. Again received a confirmation text 15 minutes prior to technician showing up on site. Again terrific service. And Thankfully just needed to replace the gas
furnace pressure safety switch. And we're back up and running! Thank you Davis!

Our heat went out during this terrible cold snap we are having. We called Davis as new customers and they were friendly and quick to help. They were able to get someone out to us the next day. When we decided to get a new HVAC system installed, they were quick to send us an estimate and fit us into their installation schedule. All of the technicians were friendly, helpful, and professional. We are happy to finally have heat and will continue to use Davis for our HVAC needs!

Technician was friendly and informative and checked everything when I explained my high electric bill. He found the problem and proceeded to fix, get the parts and system will be corrected .

Our boiler stopped working and so I called our local experts that have been servicing it for the last 14 years. Manny, one of their top technicians came over to assess the situation. It wasn't obvious at first sight what the problem was and so I really liked the way he approached this situation. He decided to do a "process of elimination" from some of the most common things that could go wrong to the most complex things. After half an hour of exhausting all the typical things that could go wrong he decided to tackle some of the more possible complex issues. After another half an hour he finally found the problem, a broken wire behind the computer display panel. Something I would never have thought of looking at. As soon as he fixed that problem the boiler started up immediately, whew !

This is just an example of how well trained the technicians are at Davis Heating and Cooling. Manny has been here before and he has always has been extremely polite, personable, engaging and communicates very well. All of the traits I look for in a good contractor/technician.

In addition to Manny, Missy and Jason, the service manager have an awesome staff of people that I have complete faith in. They have solved so many issues for us over the years and they've gotten even more creative in their problem-solving techniques. Very rare to find skills like that these days. Thanks to everyone for helping solve yet another issue of ours !!!

Davis Modern did an excellent job getting my A/C working again fast! Our A/C stopped working a 90 degree plus day and my 9month pregnant wife was working from home. They were able to get out the same day and even had the part on their service truck to get the system up and running again! The technician was very friendly and helpful and even replaced the filter while he was there.

Very happy with our experience with Davis heating. Came out gave us a very reasonable quote, work was completed in one day very satisfied with the work. I would definitely recommend Davis heating and cooling.

Nick is very knowledgeable with oil burner steam heaters. He did an excellent job cleaning it. He answered all my questions and I will be requesting his service next year. I'm so glad I found this company on the web.

Gas heater checkup was quick and easy. We have free checkups since we had them install our new heater. Technician was very friendly and helpful.
Only previous downside was it took them almost a year to fix a hole they put in the ceiling when installing the heater after many repeated calls, so make sure they finish the job completely before paying them.

I was appreciative of the level of customer service we were shown from this company. They understood the medical issues and were able to get our air conditioning repaired very quickly. The tech, Manny that came to the house was very through and explained what the issues were and was able fix it immediately. He was very kind and understanding of our situation. We would highly recommend them for services.

Austin, Steve Jim and the whole company has helped us out so many times over the years. Often with quick service calls when our unit wasn’t working in the height of the season. Tune up specials and service charges are the best in the area. And the work is great as well. Very happy. They came out 3x in a week to fix a recurring problem as well as a tune up last week and our system is running the best it has been. Even helped out with things that were out of the box like my grate missing under the until with a quick fix that saved me money again. So happy with this local company!!!

Davis Modern H & C has just installed a high efficiency natural gas boiler in my house and i couldn't be happier. Tom and Julian were fantastic. They worked cleanly and efficiently at removing the old oil boiler and tank. They explained the installation process carefully and were very patient with operating instructions.
