These guys came highly recommended. Quick, quality service and with very fair pricing. They came first thing in the morning, diagnosed our ac issue and was able to get a replacement and be back first thing the next day to install it. Awesome service, we wouldn’t go with anyone else in the future!

Had a new furnace installed by this company over the winter. Everything seemed fine until we tried to turn on the AC for the first time this spring and it wouldn’t kick on. I called them, explained the issue, and even suggested it might be related to the new furnace install.

The tech came out and said a part in the AC unit was bad and would cost up to $800 to replace if they could even find it. Then he strongly recommended replacing the whole AC unit.

I went ahead and got a second opinion. Turns out they had wired the furnace incorrectly during the original install, which is why the AC wouldn’t work. No bad part. No need for a new unit. Just their own mistake that they either missed or didn’t want to admit.

They came and fixed a broken water pipe in my yard. Got the job done quickly and for almost half the price of the other quote I got.

They overcharged for each item. I had gas fired water boiler system repaired last year. For part that cost $87 online for the same brand they charged $150. For another part that cost &150 they charged $287. I called them but they had no explanation.

Massively overcharged my 82 year old mother in law by more than $125 for a garbage disposal replacement that took less than an hour and a half to replace! Crooks that prey on the naivety of the elderly should be completely ashamed of themselves!!

They did such an excellent job! I had a leak in my garage and one of there pumblers, John, fixed it without a problem! I highly recommend this company to fix any of ur plumbing needs.

This company is wonderful! I had an emergency plumbing issue. They were busy when i called but the owner came out to look at the problem. The showed up promptly the next morning and worked all day. They were professional, informative, friendly and thorough. They even cleaned up meticulously when they were finished. I highly recommend them!! I will use them again.

We have been using A J Buerkle Plumbiing & Heating Company as our "go to" company whenever we have a need for plumbing work for the past 21 years. Today they dropped the ball. I called last week to schedule the replacement of the toilet tank components in our Kohler toilet in the guest bathroom. They said they couldn't get to us until today, Monday, December 12th. This morning I called to ask when they were coming to do the work. They didn't have me on the schedule and told me they didn't remember talking to me, even though we texted them pictures of the parts that were needed last week, which they confirmed. Won't use them again.

Al is THE BEST plumber in the South hills. He stopped by my house today to help diagnose an issue with water in my garage floor. He spent a half hour with me going over my situation in detail, leaving no stone unturned. Ultimately he said it wasn't an issue with my plumbing, and didn't charge me for a service fee even though his expertise was invaluable. I will use his company anytime something comes up. I give him the strongest of recommendations. Andy in USC.

Al Buerkle has worked with my mother for a number of years now. My husband and I are in the process of buying a home and had a plumbing issue we asked the seller to fix - after the seller's plumber told us it did not need to be fixed we sought a second opinion from Al Buerkle. He was very quick in reviewing the dvd of the snaked drain and giving us a written opinion that we could send to the seller. He also talked to both of us about the issue and how it would need to be repaired. I felt very comfortable talking to him and held his opinion in very high regard given the extended working relationship he has had with my mother. While the seller ultimately decided to use her own plumber to fix the issue, he was very helpful and we will certainly use him for all of our plumbing needs in the future.

DISHONEST COMPANY !

Our water heater was leaking water and I called AJ Buerkle early in the morning. The receptionist was not there and the owner Mr Buerkle himself ( although I did not know this at the time) answered my phone call and offered to come out to my home himself.
I was told over the phone that the water heater would need replaced.
Mr Buerkle promptly came to my house and confirmed it would need replaced and told me we would have a new water heater by noon. He told me then he was the owner.
I asked at that time what the cost would be and he told me it would be $1700 with installation.
This was not an estimate it would be the actual cost because it was a standard hot water heater replacement.
I told my husband it would be about $2000 preferring to round up higher just in case.

My husband commented that the cost was pretty high for just a hot water heater but I told him how pleasant Mr Buerkle was and how quick we would have our hot water back on.

HOWEVER .....
After the technician did the installation without any complications or changes, he called the office and we were told our bill was
$3000 !!!!!
No explanation or reason. The owner was no where to be found and my husband paid the amount because the water heater was already installed.

THE COMPANY IS DISHONEST, YOUR TYPICAL BAIT AND SWITCH. NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!

A. J. Buerkle Plumbing Company is an excellent company to use if you are having plumbing problems. They are professional, courteous and efficient. I had a toilet leaking in my bathroom which damaged the sub-floor, tile floor and ceiling below. Mr. Buerkle came out and diagnosed the problem and had all the specialists needed to fix the problem. He had a carpenter available, a tile person and a plasterer for me to use. He took all of the stress off of me to get the problem solved. I would highly recommend using A.J. Buerkle.
