Awful experience. 3 “pro’s” cancelled without any notice. Went over a month between cuts in the middle of summer and customer service was beyond pathetic due to the company’s laughable policies.

Very much appreciated how quick and efficient my yard was done!

Jason did a nice job cutting the grass. However the next day I got a message from the company that they tagged on a charge, $29 for grass 9” high. The grass was not that high (April in Pittsburgh). I wish Jason would have told me there was an upcharge when I talked with him during the cut and I could have made an informed decision. I will not employ this company again because it felt shady to me.

I booked through LawnStarter since we were going on vacation. The service provider never showed up; the communications with the company and provider we're useless; hollow promises by the company that another provider would do the job; totally wasted my time. I came home to a front yard jungle! This is exactly what I was trying to to avoid by retaining LawnStarter's services. This company is bad and unprofessional. I would NOT recommend LawnStarter. They do NOT get the job done. Thanks for nothing!!!

My last experience with them was much better than this year. This year, the crew was changed twice, and my service was postponed for an entire week! Grass was long and out of control. I just canceled the service, as I was not confident the next crew will show up on-time and be reliable.

The customer service is good and does its best but it seems like they have a hard time finding reliable crew members to send out! If you can put up with the initial crew member changes and delays, you may get lucky and get a reliable service after a few weeks.

My last year experience (older review) : we were happy with the crew that LawnStarter connected us with. They were reliable and always showed up as expected and did a nice job. What I like about LawnStarter is that it takes care of payments, scheduling, rescheduling, cancellations, and communications with the crew through their app or website which is very convenient for me. That being said, at the beginning of the service, last year, it took a few weeks and a couple of crew changes before we were finally assigned a reliable crew.

Jennifer and her crew always does a great job. Lawn always looks good, and they clean up after themselves good.

Easy, low-friction interactions, good work, very responsive

This was quick fast and easy. I normally cut my own grass, but with work, a wedding of my oldest, and some family emergency’s, I was not able to get it done. Lawnstarter was able to get someone to my place and they did an out standing job!

We use LawnStarted for our services. Our current pro, Chris, is amazing and keeps us informed. He also asks if there are any special items we may need with our lawn.

I love this company. And Joe is great. I opted to skip my mow this week but come Tuesday I was regretting that decision. I sent a message and Joe said yes he would mow for me on Friday. That kind of service is hard to come by. If your looking for someone to take care of your yard you should check out Joe with LawnStarter.

Hi Micheal did a great job! My yard is big and uneven so a sit down mower isn't really a possibility. Micheal did a great job of using a push mower and got all the little places in the yard that are annoying to get. Thanks!

I wish I would have Found this lawn service Sooner. My teamat A1 Lawn Service were polite and professional. My yard looked great ! They took extra time to trim around my rose's Erik took a few moments to give me quotes on trimming and landscaping. What a gem. Many thanks Laura

LawnStarter is a SCAM, buyers beware. They advertise a $20 first cut but that’s not what you’ll receive after all their fees. Customer Service is a joke. They also lock you into 3 cuts minimum so you can’t cancel after the bad experience you had.

Jennifer and her crew do an excellent job on our lawn. They always clean up. They also take care not to get grass clippings in your mulch!

Destroyed the lawn. Always a "new” crew. Almost $60 for an embarrassing yard on a busy, high visibility street. We’re not picky. Cancelled today.

I am very pleased. My brother and I have sold our father's house and closing will be at the end of the month. He was able to get to me sooner than 7/23. He was there when he said he would be.

Great service. Extremely easy to get started and you can control pretty much everything about your service from the app. Honestly this is a great find and I wish I found it sooner.

Also I liked to mention my thanks to jereme for being able to make time to cut my yard even though he was trying to work off a backlog due it raining a lot the previous few days.

Stay away! I hired them to take care of 2 of my investment properties and my residence this season. It were constant problems all summer long. Contractors (so called Pros) did not show up or did a poor job. But they charged my credit card anyway. I had to file a dispute with my credit card compony after they refused to refund my money after the most recent Pro's no show.
