Had new furnace and AC installed. Bid was very competitive. They told me exactly when they would have time to install and I was able to pick a day that met my schedule and they were exactly on time. Also called me the day before and reconfirmed the install. It was a hot day and they worked longer to make sure I had AC before leaving then finished up the next day.

They are always responsive, and have staff that are competent and can solve problems. Always great to work with!

I sold a home in Oxford that needed some repairs made to the well and septic. The technician was very detailed and communicated well with myself and the new buyer. My client is very please and said the tech checked a few things over for her as well. Very pleasant kind people and will be using them again.

I called for quote on my bathroom remodel. They came within a week and they did some measurements. However, they never followed up. I called multiple times and they said I would receive a response. I never received a call back. I tried again through the website. Once again, they told me someone would call back. I never received the call. I just wanted a quote for my bathroom. I hate writing this review and it’s my Hail Mary. I see multiple positive posts and they seemed like a great company. So, it’s surprising they are not following through. I’m willing to take this down if they just call me back and they give a response.

Everyone is so polite and want to help from owners to receptionist to service men. The service men are very polite and answer your questions. I recommend them to everyone.

We had been a loyal customer for a number of years. When our boiler was making odd sounds continuously, we contacted the company to see if a serviceman could come and check it out. The woman said they had nothing available for 6 weeks! I asked if the sounds meant a problem posing a potential danger to us. She said they wouldn't know until they inspected it. Offering nothing earlier, we took the appointment. After I thought about it, the whole exchange left a bad impression with no concern for our safety, so we called another local company who came that very afternoon. I called Terrytown back to cancel our appointment and they didn't seem concerned. We have used the new company ever since. They are more responsive and give excellent lead times on their arrival.

Terrytown has been my "good-to" for services offered for 35 years. I have bought furnaces and air conditions from them. They have done all services for them, plus I've had plumbing issues solved by them. I consider them "the best" in professionalism and services. Thanks for the security you have offered in my time of need!

Our relationship started out great, however when we paid top $$ to install a new Bradford white water heater things went south. It began leaking out the bottom right away. Problems continues and eventually the entire staff ghosted us. No returned communications, no followup. Bad business.

Be very careful when you hire them to do any work in your house. Things can go missing unless you spend the extra money to put up cameras in your home or have the time to just watch them work the entire time.

We discovered that the shut-off valve between the well and our 3 season cottage was leaking after closing it and blowing out the pipes for the winter. Had this not been fixed we would have surely had frozen/broken pipes by the end of winter. I contacted S&S on a Friday and they arrived first thing Monday morning with a backhoe to dig up and replace the valve. By noon the valve was replaced and the hole filled in. Our bill was well below what we expected. I would recommend them without reservation.
