Of the three system installers I investigated, Meyers had the most technical knowledge and many more options for a new leach field. Our project got off to a rough start before their involvement as the health department was involved and we felt trapped into installing an expensive (and unsightly) mound system. Emmett got our project back on track, assisted with the health department issues, and working with us to find a much better solution that saved us a lot of money and preserved our yard. During the install Emmett was a great problem solver, and worked around several challenges that would have otherwise impacted the usable space and appearance of our yard if he took the easy way out. The team working for him was courteous and professional. I am very satisfied with the result and will recommend Meyers for any septic system needs. They are definitely the experts in the Rochester area.

We have used Meyers for our septic over the past four years. The techs have always been excellent. Patient, willing to explain what is happening, and very clean. Their rates are quite reasonable. I strongly recommend Meyers.

When my septic tank gave out due to our rainy spring Emmett came to my rescue. I called many places for quotes and Meyers was the best price. I can't say enough for their professionalism and timely work along with answering all my questions...wouldn't go anywhere else.

My wife and I would like to thank the entire crew of Meyers Environmental for the superb job they did installing a new septic system for our home. We were impressed with the professional manner in which both the design and construction of the new system was carried out. As far as engineering goes, the new system is much simpler than the old, as it eliminated a pumping station in favor of an entirely gravity fed system. The installation also included a complete rerouting of roof rainwater drainage so as to not impact the drainage field of the septic system itself. This last is a good example of the attention to detail that exemplified the entire job from start to finish—all accomplished quickly and efficiently with steady hard work, friendly smiles, good humor, and perseverance in spite of the downpour on the first day. Our personal thanks go out to Emmett, Scott, Bailey, and Michael.

Our 65 year old septic system gave out this spring. We had three estimates and Meyers Environmental was by far the best. Emmett Conneely and his crew were very professional and hard-working. Emmett addressed all our questions and concerns before, during, and after the installation.

I was referred to one of there competitors and got a quote which took over 2 months to get plus told they couldn't start for another month. So I called Meyers not only were they a few HUNDRED dollars cheaper they had the project done within 2 weeks or less and they would of had it done sooner but there was a delay in getting material and they did call to give me an update. Also a delay due to weather and again they called me and gave me an update.

Meyers Environmental has been cleaning my two septic tanks since 1993, when I moved into my 1830's home in Mendon, NY. It's been 25 years now, and I couldn't be happier with their service - especially the service provided by Emmett Conneely, Project Manager. Just recently, I noticed a big wet spot above my distribution box. Emmett and his very capable (and kind) technician Pete Ortiz came out immediately to assess the situation. They opened the distribution box and called me over to explain what was happening. I could see for myself that the waste water was not draining properly. Emmett went to great lengths to explain the problem and proposed solution. He was exceptionally thorough in his assessment, and I trust him completely. I also enjoy his sense of humor! It's a great comfort to work with a company and with people I can count on to be honest, reliable, and excellent at what they do. It means more than I can say. Meyers gets my highest praise.

Jim Hyman's responsiveness and personal attention to installation and adjustment of a new sanitary pump/grinder tank & alarm system both before and after a $400,000 addition to my home are most appreciated. Jason played a leadership role on site with installation, relocating he alarm system after my construction project, lowering the lid to accommodate a paver patio and explaining everything all along the way exemplify the company's commitment to prioritizing customer service and complete satisfaction. From start to finish this company is amazing to deal with!! We were having all sorts of plumbing issues related to our old septic tank. They immediately diagnosed the problem where other companies failed to and let us know what the real issue was. They explained the issue and were completely thorough. We needed to connect to sewer which is a costly investment but it needed to take place. I asked several questions and called several times and they were kind and understanding every time. We ran into several issues with the town and connecting to the sewer and they had our back throughout the entire process. I honestly could not ask for more from a company. They are amazing and I'm so happy that we found them!!

My very old septic system started to fail this year and I used Meyer's a couple times to pump out my tanks. They were the best of the companies I used. Always very professional and knowledgeable and also willing to actually assess and try to fix the situation rather than just pumping the tanks and taking my money. I also consulted with Meyer's when I was trying to connect my house to the sewer. For reasons outside my control, I had to go with a different company but I have to give a shout out to their project manager, Emmett. He was a great resource through the whole process as I was trying to figure out the best option for my family. I ended up talking to him so much that I joked with my wife that he was my therapist. Great company all around!

I had been on a waiting list with one of Myers competitors for two months, and was still not getting a definite date for our septic system work to begin. Needless to say I was very disappointed and upset. However, my experience with the Myers team was the exact opposite. They came out quickly and then completed the work by the following week! They could not have been more professional and courteous, and the cost was very competitive. My only regret is that I didn’t call Myers first! I highly recommend them.

I am in my 1st year of being a new homeowner. Within the first 4 months of living here, we've had 2 issues with our septic system (post inspection) that were kind of "patched up" by the same company who did the pre-close septic inspection (totaling + $800) They were not sure what the issues were. Well this past week (4/18/22) we experienced another issue and this time with pooling in our backyard. After my experiences with the company I had called for the first 2 issues, I decided I've had enough and finally reached out to Meyers Environmental based on the positive reviews I saw. Well the reviews were absolutely on point and true. I called and asked if I could have someone come out to maybe just take a look and perhaps diagnose the issue. Jim who is in management with the company came right on time and when I opened the door, he handed me his business card as part of his introduction which I thought was the respectful thing to do. Minutes after the meet he was able to pinpoint what he thought was the issue. He told me what I needed to have done and that when the techs come out, they would bring an extra pump in case we needed one. He then made me a priority to be taken care of asap. When the techs came out with the pump truck, Jason and another gentlemen (Can't remember of his name) had also introduced themselves in a professional manner. They immediately pumped out my septic system and immediately saw that I needed a new pump as the old pump was outdated and quite frankly, was just not working anymore which caused my tank to overflow and my backyard to pool. Jason and his partner Installed a new pump and fixed my alarm as well as waterproofed all the underground electric which was not previously done. They allowed me to watch them do this so that I can have peace of mind. They buried everything nice and neat and made sure everything was working properly before they left. All this took just under an hour. Jason and his partner were very patient with me as I had many questions for them being a new homeowner and definitely new to Septic Systems. They were able to answer every one of my questions and even gave me advice on septic do's and don'ts. All this was done for a much lower price than what we thought we were going to have to pay based on what the other company had done and what they charged me with the first 2 septic issues. Jim from Meyers kept his word when we discussed fees. I will end this by saying that I have NEVER experienced such class and great customer service like this. If you're reading this review and in need of a septic service, please please do not look anywhere else. If you want to feel like your system and you as a homeowner / customer matter, this is where your search should end. Trust me you will not regret calling these guys especially in a time where great customer service is not really a thing anymore. Hope this helps any one looking-

I can't say enough positive things about Meyers Environmental and Project Manager Emmett Conneely.
I hired an engineer to design a replacement for my failing septic system and I was told due to space limitations my only option was a raised bed system in my back yard. The completed plan was submitted to Meyers and another septic installation company. The responses I received from the two companies couldn't be more different. The one company mailed me an estimate, while Emmett from Meyers called me to discuss the job. He told me there were several problems with the plan and he called the engineer who agreed to fix the plan at no additional charge.
Emmett then came out to evaluate the job site and since I was not happy with the original plan we discussed my options. He then called a second engineer, who, with some ingenuity, was able to design a system that would fit in my side yard. This second plan was not only where I originally wanted the septic placement, it also cost thousands less than the estimate for the first plan.
Emmett and his crew completed the installation in my side yard and I am very happy with the end result.
Throughout the whole project, Emmett was honest, trustworthy, and helpful. He took the extra step many times to ensure that I was informed and satisfied with all aspects of the project.
I would highly recommend Meyers Environmental.

Meyers went above and beyond for me. They fit me into their busy schedule and everyone was nice and accommodating. Jason was the gentleman who came to my house, He pumped my septic tank and unplugged the lateral line into the tank, Jason was professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely be using them from now on.

Wow! I cannot thank the team at Meyers enough! We had an issue with some plumbing that we were not quite sure of the problem. As soon as I had reached out to Meyers they were there within a couple days, had the right people on the job, got the manager, Jim to come right away. There were back the next morning as they said they would and fixed everything for us! Jim, Jason and Randy were great to deal with - customer service is outstanding! Meyers was a great company to work with on a septic tank install. Communicative, fairly priced, and flexible. We discovered a late-breaking surprise in our plumbing routing that required some extra work. Meyers handled it at no extra charge and did an excellent job on the install overall.

Meyers cleaned out our septic tank this past week. Our tank was full because we had lost track of how long it had been since the last service. We called on Monday and they were able to get here Tuesday. The 2 men were on time, professional, and thorough. Can’t ask for better than that! Highly recommend this company!

Fantastic job. Office staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Easy to work with. Pete and Randy did a great job finding our tank and cleaning it out. They did their best to not tear up my lawn more than needed.

After having multiple companies out to quote a fairly difficult leach field replacement, we ended up choosing Meyers. Jason was friendly, responsive and accommodating.
