My wife and I want our house done right. We have used Modern Tile twice several months apart and would not have had them back if the first job wasn't good. Bob helped with design suggestions and his guys were all very professional in their work and manners. I would not hesitate to recommend Modern Tile and Renovation! I'm attaching two each before and after pictures from the master bathroom.

I am so pleased with the work I had done by Modern Tile and Renovation. I needed my bathroom tile floor replaced. The estimate was so easy and very clear. It was a 4 day project. It all went like clock work. They came just as outlined in the proposal. All the workers were very nice and truly excellent at their skill. Brad did the floor with Matt and they did a fabulous job. Scott came back to replace the toilet and sink. They were all so professional and cleaned up everything each day. They even cleaned up outside where they were cutting tiles. Matt even cleaned up the basement where debris had fallen through the floor. I will definitely use Bob and his crew again! Thanks so much!!

Modern Tile and Renovation LLC did an amazing job with our basement remodel. Bob Hoover and his team were extremely professional and enjoyable to work with. Modern Tile worked closely with us from the early stages of design ideas and completely transformed a space that we absolutely love and use all of the time. We will definitely have Bob and his team help us with any future home renovations.

My experience with Modern Tile & Renovation was terrific. The planning process was smooth and the crew was prompt, professional and even fun. The result is top notch -- even better than I expected -- due in no small part to the excellent workmanship and sound advice. Highly recommend.

We had Bob's crews come out to remodel our bathroom. My wife and I were a bit nervous as this was our first remodel of any kind. It went by like nothing! The schedule Bob creates to show you timelines for work being done was so helpful. The work is top notch, we absolutely love it! Everything looks so crisp and clean. And the shower...we never want to leave it, we highly recommend Modern Tile and Rennovation. The crews are ALL very nice and informative, and Bob is always reachable to check in on anything. 10 out of 10. I would add pictures but I dont see an option to on here. Take my word, their work is remarkable.

Bob and crew did a great job converting a bedroom into a master bathroom and walk-in closet with access through the master bedroom. The contract was very detailed and fair so we understood what we were getting, worked through changes, understood the cost of everything and what our allowances were. This assured we were on the same page and allowed us to reduce the cost where we wanted and add where we felt it was worth it. Communication was excellent. We Always received a text or email the night before confirming who was arriving when. The crew were all great and I felt safe that they were in our house. Excellent quality work. I would definitely recommend them! We love our new bathroom and closet. The pictures of the closet are not complete as we chose to do the painting and closet inserts ourselves.

We hired Modern Tile and Renovation to remediate water damage in our lower level after a hidden pipe leak caused major damage to the vinyl floor, drywall, and cabinets. They were not the lowest bid we received, but I was impressed by Bob's responsiveness, proactive communication, and thorough design, so I felt confident hiring them to do the project. They replaced the flooring with tile, rebuilt custom furring strips to match up the new drywall to the existing wall, reassembled new cabinets, and painted. The crews showed up on time, eveytime, they cleaned up evey day, communication along the way were great, the end result is fantastic, and there were no surprise costs. I recommend Modern Tile and Renovation with confidence you will be pleased with their work.

We worked with Bob and the team at Modern Tile and Renovation to renovate our 3rd floor living space and bathroom. Bob redesigned the layout of both the bathroom and living space to make it all feel bigger and more useable. We were skeptical about keeping the 90 year old hardwood floor as sections were missing and it had a dark shellac finish. Bob’s team replaced the missing sections so well you wouldn't even know where they were. The floor is now a light natural color and it looks amazing! It was a great process because Bob communicated very well and his workers showed up on time, were very courteous, and cleaned up at the end of each day. Any time we had questions, he answered them promptly and was open to changes during the project. We would work with Bob again for other home renovation projects. It was a great experience and we love the finished product!

The quality of workmanship was excellent, and the projects were completed in reasonable time. Though there were changes along the way, they worked well with us. We are happy with the final results and would recommend Modern Tile for anyone looking at renovation projects.

We are BEYOND pleased with the work that was done on our two bathrooms (complete demo and remodel) by Modern Tile and Renovation. Bob and his team were kind, knowledgeable, and respectful of our home. They always arrived promptly and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. I wouldn’t trust or choose anyone else!

Modern Tile did a great job on our newly re-built full bathroom. Estimate was very detailed. From the demolition to the final touches, the job was done on schedule, neatly, and the workers were very courteous. The company uses a website for schedule, payments and all communications. Job took about 5 weeks from start to finish. Price was not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Small issues at the end were handled to my satisfaction.
My only whine was that all communication after the job started was done through messages, when sometimes you might prefer to call. Also would have been extra nice to have a CAD model representation or drawings of the bathroom before starting the work. This would have helped to know ahead of time about fixture placement, interference issues and knowing what size mirrors to buy to fit the wall - for examples. A cabinet drawing was provided.

Bob and Monica were wonderful to work with. They took our ideas for renovations of our living room fireplace and master bathroom and made them happen! Communication was great throughout planning, from initial meeting to final design and consultation with The Tile Shop. Scheduling was timely and work was completed quickly and efficiently considering the amount of work we had done. Over all Modern Tile and Renovation went above and beyond to provide quality, reasonably priced workmanship!

Bob Hoover and his team at Modern Tile and Renovation were fantastic! I couldn't be more pleased with our shower renovation. We've worked with a number of contractors over the years and have never had anyone this great to work with. First off, Bob sends a very detailed estimate, with costs down to the penny-that was very impressive. He then suggested I join a website where he created a detailed calendar of the process, complete with work to be done each day as well as time of arrival. When he said his workers would be here at 8am, the were here promptly at 8. The same care was given to the workmanship every step of the way. They were also extremely neat throughout the process. I will definitely be using Bob and his team again for my next project! (The last three photos are what the shower looked like before the renovation.)

Very nice, cleaned up and paint wallpaper damaged walls, tiled floor and tub / shower surround, new countertop, and installed mirror frame.
Even repaired the bath exterior wall that was damaged during demolition.
Overall we are very satisfied with this job.

My experience using Modern Tile and Renovation was extremely positive. The main project was finishing a large section of my basement, ensuring I still had access to my stack, electrical box, and B- Dry drains. They also re-grouted and framed in the original tile in front of my 1939 fireplace (and repaired a tile in the foyer, so I could keep the original tile there as well). They put recessed lighting in the basement, family room and hallway, rerouted the dryer vent, put in new glass block window, and beautifully re-painted everything.

The quote given beforehand was very detailed, separately specifying costs for materials and labor. Change order estimates were received quickly, and invoices for sections of the project completed were detailed and matched the original estimate and change orders.

Communication was outstanding, via emails, text messages, and phone calls. Every single person who came to my house to do work was hard working, professional, polite, and extremely good at their job.

Bob Hoover and his crew do outstanding work, and I plan on using them again in the future for a bathroom renovation.

Bob and Modern Tile did an amazing job with our bathroom renovation & electrical panel upgrade. All the preferred venders were very easy to work with to make our initial selections. The schedule was communicated ahead of time and easy to track. Everyone that came to work in the house was polite, organized, and made sure to treat everything well. I can not stress enough how impressed I was with the tile work. They cleaned up really well after every visit which was great. It was very easy to keep on track with invoices using the app. I would definitely recommend them and will be giving them a call for my kitchen.

We are SO pleased with our bathroom remodel. Tore out our 1950's bathroom to the studs and put in a beautiful walk in shower. From the initial visit by Bob, the owner, for the estimate to all phases of the process, every aspect was professional, prompt, and quality work. The workers were always on time, so courteous. Cleaned up so well at the end of every work day that other than the bathroom work itself, you couldn't even tell they were there. We would highly recommend them or use them again.

Bob/Modern Tile was referred to me from a friend who utilized them for a bathroom renovation. I had a complete renovation done of the lower level of my tri-level home. The process was probably the least painful renovation I’ve been through with any contractor. Bob and his teams are courteous, communicative, punctual, professional, helpful and resourceful. Any trouble shooting or questions were resolved quickly and efficiently. If I even had an inkling of an idea of something or a vision of something I wanted, they made it come to fruition. Each crew-demo, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and design-were all amazing. He utilizes Builder Trend software which consolidates everything into one place-the daily/weekly project schedule, finance, questions, etc. Each day the crews took pictures of the work performed and uploaded it to the site. A special thank you to Dawn on the design side and Scott on the carpentry side for their creative advice and expertise. I would not hesitate to refer Bob/Modern Tile to anyone and I would absolutely utilize them down the road for future projects.

We did a whole home remodel with Cooper in the summer/fall of 2025. We had previously done another project with them. Project was completed on time and we are enjoying our “new” home! Communication was great with our project manager Phil throughout. They continue to be responsive after completion about some minor follow ups. Highly recommend Cooper for this kind of work!
