Cooper Design Build did an excellent job managing our large remodel project. It was completed on time and on budget.

They've figured out a way to offer their clients an experience they would choose to repeat and refer to friends and family. That's what it's all about, in my opinion. We cannot speak highly enough of the entire Cooper Design/Build Team. They took our cramped 1,100 sq. ft. house and turned it into a 3,200 gracious, and live able home. The workmanship exceeded our happiest expectations, and the exterior design blended in beautifully with the Alameda neighborhood. During the project, they kept in contact with the surrounding homes and were extremely courteous and responsive to any questions.
In addition, the project came in just a bit under budget and exactly on time. My husband and I are completely delighted!

Cooper Design designed and built an 800 sq foot ADU (accessory dwelling unit) for me. They did an excellent job in all areas. The workmanship was exemplar. They were very flexible and willing to accommodate my requests. They thoroughly communicated throughout the project keeping me well apprised of current status and developments. And the finish product is simply amazing.

I've had a chance to see four houses remodeled by Cooper Design Builders. The work equaled or exceeded that of a dozen or so other remodelers whose work I've seen. I found the leadership of the company managed the construction team well and were very personable to clients. They are straightforward, reliable, honest and pleasant. Not your rough edged, say one thing and do another company. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone consider a small to large remodel.

We partnered with Lane and the Cooper team on a very ambitious remodel of a historic home. We had a very tight timeline of 5 months from when we started (our rental property was expiring with no option to extend). As is often the case with projects like this, the scope increased significantly as we learned more about the house we had just purchased. We were really impressed with how responsive the team was, and how hard they worked to make our deadline. Throughout the process, their communication was excellent and everyone was professional, friendly and easy to work with. Also, all the professionals they worked with showed up on time and did really good work. Finally, and most importantly, the project was completed on time we are really happy with how everything turned out - the house has been transformed and we love it. We wouldn't hesitate to work with Lane and his team again.

Cooper Design Build did an amazing job updating our kitchen and master bathroom (total rebuild). They made great suggestions on the fixtures, tile, and other flooring. I highly recommend them.

Cooper construction completely gutted and remodeled our mid century home. Our goal was to “age in place” and included adding an elevator which required the team to head to uncharted territory. The results were great. We were pleased with the ongoing interaction with Josh, the project manager and Lane Cooper, both of whom were accommodating and patient to requests and changes.

I hired Cooper Design Builders for a complete kitchen, main bath and powder bathroom remodel. I chose Cooper Design based on their reputation for quality, on-time and on-budget work. What can I say: I am so happy with my kitchen and bathrooms! I was highly impressed by my project manager who was incredibly knowledgable, respectful and always reachable to discuss issues. Cooper Designs also has a great network of quality subcontractors that insures that the project kept flowing smoothly. I recommend Cooper Design for your projects big and small.

We chose to work with COOPER Design Builders after seeing the recently remodeled home of our close friends who highly recommended them. What impressed us most was that the team was very communicative and quick to respond to our questions. They understood our goals and how to best implement them into the design, material selections, and workmanship of our remodel. This is after 5 years! My house was remodeled by Cooper Design Build in 2018. Everything is still beautiful. My cleaning ladies broken a lamp shade in the bathroom. Copper had given us a file of all the products we have installed in our house (that alone is just awesome)! My husband tried to look for the supplier for that lamp but could not find one. He called Cooper Design Build. CDB ordered the lamp shade for us!!! We got a replacement within a week. I do not often write reviews. Especially when it comes to remodel services... the after-sales care is often what fails.

But with Cooper Design Builder, I feel like they really deserve an excellent review for exceptional after-sales care and services, reliable and honest process, relatively good quality work, and great professionalism from all their staff and subcontractors. If there is ONE thing to complain about... it is their price. But if we pay peanuts, we tend to get monkeys! 😊

I am inspired to write this review because I am so thankful for the beautiful sunroom, kitchen and bathrooms that Cooper Design Builder has helped build for me. I also have the urge to write because even after a year of living in my space, Cooper’s staffs will pick up my call, come over, and work with manufacturers to replace a black faucet that I installed that had chipped paint. In this past couple years of working with their staff, they have been very responsive. They have had to come back to me numerous times to fix small little things that were missed — like a spot that was not painted and was hidden, or a crack on the floor because of shifting of the grounds and etc. If the problem you face is not urgent, they will take a little longer to get to the job, but it is very understandable. But so far, they have been good about getting back to me.

I start working with the owner, Lane, since 2017 on the design for our new space. We have a 1980’s home. I started my remodel in Sept 2018. They completed their work as promised, in 6 months, in March 2019! It is now Nov 2020. They delivered beautiful work on time, within budget (!!!!) and they have proven to me that they keep their promises about their after-sales care. Their process was easy to follow and as stress free as remodeling can be. And most of all, Lane is a charming, down-to-earth, and reasonable person who values relationships with his clients. He tries his best to accommodate us wherever possible. When we had some disagreements in our billing or construction, Lane and his staff were willing to sit down and go through all the numbers and facts, and they walked us through the process to help us see what we were missing.

I have worked with construction companies from all over the world, from different parts of Asia, to Australia, to California and now in Oregon. It takes time to really get to know how honest and how good a Construction company is. So far Cooper Design Builder has been a 5-star company for me.

If you want quality work done in a timely manner and a relatively stress free process and your budget allows for it, I highly recommend Copper Design Builders.

We wholeheartedly recommend COOPER design for large or small home renovations. They recently renovated most of our first floor (approximately 1600 sqft). This included total kitchen, living room, entry way, stair railing, total bathroom, and changing carpet to complete hardwood flooring. We were in over our head but their designer Staci Holt was a huge help in getting us organized after we figured out what style we would like for our space. She met with us regularly at a variety of appliance, flooring, and other shops along with scheduled meetings at our house to review plans, scope of work, and projected completion dates. Nate was our general contractor who was a great communicator regarding project progress, new problems/discoveries, decisions, etc. He even helped us mount our tv to the wall. They were a huge help in organizing the sub-contractors and keeping everything as close to on schedule as possible.
Because we have two small kids and we wanted to live in a rental during the project, we only had 4 months to complete the project. And they did it! I was very relieved they were able to do everything we talked about in the projected time even though they had to work some weekends and nights.
And a huge thank you to Josh the main manager for the project and Lane Cooper who both earned our trust in showing us that they were available during the entirety of the renovation. We had their contact information for all the times we needed to discuss our paperwork or if any other issues arose.
We love our home! It desperately needed an update from its original 90's design and will use them in the future for our upstairs remodel!

Cooper Design Build has high quality personnel, fair prices, and finish each job with great efficiency and effectiveness. They are professional, creative, work seamlessly, and FUN! We were treated like family, but also like valued clients. No request was too big or too small.

Our project was a 6 month long process of restoring/updating a 1907 home. Cooper Design Builders did a great job listening to what we wanted, then turning that into a design plan and finished product. We would definitely work with them again.
