We love how our home was transformed. KM Builders took the time to listen to our thoughts and ideas to help us design a better than we ever imagined new kitchen! Their process made our project run much smoother than expected. They made sure we were always informed with daily communication from our project manager (Mike Garcia) as to the work to be performed every day. Their attention to detail during the planning process helped them have everything needed for our project before they began construction, which decreased the actual construction time.

We were impressed with the KM employees, all of whom were polite, courteous and cared about our project. We would definitely recommend using KM Builders to all of our friends and family.

We worked on a residential project, installing a basketball court, where KM Builders was fully remodeling the home. KM's attention to detail and the quality of their work was outstanding. Their project manager, Mike, was great to work with. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. I have zero hesitations in recommending KM Builders.

Our project far exceeded our expectations in every way from the design to the completion. Kathleen and I had a couple ideas that we envisioned and Keith and Mac designed the experience so we were an integral part of the design itself. They took our initial concept and without a great cost difference completely transformed the house layout without all the walls and compartmentalization - effectively increasing the ability to entertain and seat for dinner many family members at reunions. KM Builders' allowed me to personally make a turquoise inlaid walnut bar top and a walnut serving top, which they integrated into the design. Our Project Manager David was the nicest and most accommodating leader I've ever had working for me (the guys were also very talented and respectful). How they were able to match the travertine flooring is amazing to me. KM was flexible with add on's at minimal cost. I even had them install a bathroom ceiling fan in a bathroom I've been fighting mold (was not not even on the initial list). Several building code requirement emerged and Keith personally was involved in minimizing the costs. The last task in the project was to install my hand crafted bar and serving top - the degree of difficulty is too hard to describe, but they brought in Chad to personally install them to perfection. This weekend, we had a family reunion and we were able to seat 12 in our newly opened dining area and 10 in our pull out kitchen table. Everyone raved at the renovation even though everyone had already seen it. I can tell you that the cost of the project was worth every penny. I am reminded about other renovations that I have done myself and I'm always a little disappointed that I didn't get it perfect. No so with KM... Perfect. I can't get the Jingle out of my head, "You can have someone else remodel your home, but then you have to live in it". That can't be truer. I highly recommend KM Builders without hesitation.

I’m excited to have this opportunity to share our incredible experience with KM builders. This is the second time we have used Keith to plan and remodel our home for us. This time was a complete kitchen gut and rebuild. From the moment we contacted them we were impressed with the attention to detail and thorough communication that we experienced. Once we decided to remodel our existing home vs. a new build, we quickly came to the conclusion that KM would be the best option given the scope and complexity of our project. Despite some discrepancies in the beginning with budget and design selections and some delays with the cabinets, the process was fairly seamless. Everyone who came to our home was very professional and courteous from the initial consultation with Keith to the many interactions with our trusted project manager, Patrick and all the subcontractors along the way! One takeaway would be to make sure your expectations regarding design are fully understood when establishing a budget. For a project of this size, involving adding a support beam and demolishing a load bearing wall, KM was by far the right choice and worth the expense. Overall, we are extremely happy with the end result!

This is the only company I will ever use for renovations. As a first timer, I only knew what my parents had gone through over the years (some good, some bad). So I did a lot of research before I had picked KM, and I couldn't be more thankful that I did.

They walked me through step by step what the process would be, they took my ideas and enhanced them (and reigned in the more outlandish ones), and really took the time to understand my vision and style. The design team showed me multiple options, expanding into items I didn't even think about but I fell in love with.

The implementation was flawless. My kitchen was transformed to a room that I am (and every guest is) enthralled by. My new bathroom feels so spacious compared to the hallway closest it was before, and the "Speakeasy" room exceeded every expectation with its beautiful, handmade carpentry and ambiance. I feel like they caught every detail on the project with my house, from flooring adjustments due to baseboard oddities and uneven sections of the flooring, to cabinetry alignment between old walls and new fixtures, and of course all the plumbing and lighting are spectacular and work flawlessly.

In my unique situation, the previous homeowner pulled permits, and got no inspections done, which came as a big surprise to us all. While I had new costs to worry about, I did not have to worry about KM Builders abandoning me. They tackled every issue, even work in areas of the home not originally planned or for items not originally in scope, to satisfy the city of San Antonio. I cannot stress enough that with an inferior contractor, this situation would have left me with a home that I could not live in. KM Builders truly cared and contributed to getting the extensive list of inspection failures, from the previous owner, completed.

Even without the inspection issues that they saved me from, the love and value I feel for my new home renovations far exceeds the fair cost of the work KM Builders did for me. So if like me, you are doing your research for a company to trust to remodel your home, you can stop now, because you have found the right one.

KM BUILDERS did a major renovation for me. Had a covered patio enclosed, to add an additional 225 sq ft of living space, the old galley kitchen was opened with a new island added and garage laundry was moved into kitchen area where understair storage was previously. The area is a completely open area now with the floor level throughout with a 14 ft wide opening to the new living space.

I had an idea of what I wanted done, but luckily Keith's expertise and suggestions for opening the area in a different way was brilliant. Relatives and friends are amazed and can't believe where the back wall and door to the patio used to be.

Zach, my project manager was amazing. He texted me every morning (M-F) to let me know, who would be working that day and what would be done.

All the guys & gals who worked on the project were true professionals and took great pride in their work/craft.

I lived upstairs during the 5 months it took to complete the project, but believe it or not, it wasn't that much of an inconvenience! The guys moved my microwave upstairs for me and my fridge into the garage. The dust protection they put up at the top of the stairs is what made all the difference, in keeping my living area clean.

We did a full house remodel with KM and had a great experience. Truly a great team from start to finish. Highly recommend them for your remodel project.

We had an extensive remodel. They took my grandparents 1970s home and updated it all. We replaced the entire plumbing, updated electrical, added on a master bathroom and master bedroom, and their architects designed our floor plan that opened up our home to look bigger, updated, and more functional. I’m more than happy with their plans and execution. They delivered us an inside laundry/mud room as well. I was convinced I would have to do laundry outdoors forever but they easily made us a room inside using existing water connections. Overall I am very happy with their communication, organization, and responsiveness. Any hiccup that did occur, which I feel is inevitable, was addressed by the team. They can be pricey I feel, but you get what you pay for.

We remodeled our entire home—inside and out—with KM Builders about a year ago, and we truly couldn’t be happier. Living in our beautifully remodeled home has been such a joy, and the quality of work continues to impress us every single day.

KM Builders met if not exceeded every expectation on our Lakehouse renovation. We hired them for a major remodel that included adding a second floor, and the experience was great from start to finish. The quality of their work was excellent and they followed up with us after the project was done to be sure that we were satisfied.
What impressed us just as much was their timeliness and professionalism. With a project this size and complex, it was an octigon shaped home, you expected delays, but KM Builders kept everything moving smoothly and stayed pretty much on schedule despite the work was towards the end of COVID. Their communication was excellent, and we always knew what phase was coming next and had contact with the PM daily.

Windmill Heritage has done multiple projects for me and I will always use them because the do a great job, are very professional, take the time to listen, and always follow up to make sure that I am pleased with their work. Some of the projects include painting, refinish Saltillo tile flooring, removing and rebuilding a retaining exterior wall, fence replacement, replacing old siding with hardy plank, electrical work, full exterior paint, etc. I will be using them again!

Joe Valdez of Windmill Heritage Contracting personalized the remodeling services I needed so that I did not have to move out, although the work was throughout the house. It included removal of ceiling texture in 8 rooms and painting 2 bedrooms (walls and trim). They reworked kitchen cabinets and replaced countertops in both the kitchen and 2 baths, adding and replacing both indirect and decorative light fixtures.

The workers were polite and careful with moving/protecting my furnishings and flexible in the timing of the work when personal issues came up. Joe went to what seemed like extra efforts to save costs on some things, keeping the overall budget quite reasonable. Overall, it was like working with family!

Had a wonderful experience with Windmill Heritage and would highly recommend. Communication was great, as our questions and concerns were answered immediately. Jose has a great crew, and not only do we feel we now know a great builder, but we also feel like we've made friend.

LHI was the last home improvement company I called (wanted four estimates). Called them mainly because their reviews were excellent, but didn't expect anything different. When Serge arrived I could tell immediately he knew what he was doing. He was the most professional and organized of those that submitted proposals. LHI' s proposal was received promptly (within 24 hours), 12 pages long detailling measurements, costs, and allowances. Not the lowest bid but my instinct told me they would do a good job. I was wrong they did a GREAT job. Everyone (painters/carpenters/plumbers/electricians) all EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS and more. Serg's team truly operates as a unit.
