Engaged 4Ever for our Chicago greystone kitchen and powder room remodel (and refinished existing floors). Existing kitchen was dated and challenging from a functional perspective. The team was professional and engaged. Craftsmanship was excellent and communication was great for a significant undertaking. Great suggestions from the trades while on-site that further enhanced the space. New space is far more functional and immaculate. Would recommend.

We recently finished our basement with 4Ever Remodeling in Bolingbrook, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The project included a brand-new bathroom, kitchenette, fireplace, full electrical and plumbing work, drywall, flooring, and painting. The company provided complete service — from interior design to project management — making the entire process smooth and stress-free.

Shoutout to Klaudia, our interior designer, who did a phenomenal job designing our new basement. She was very helpful, creative, and guided us through every design decision with great attention to detail. Ragen, our sales consultant, was very knowledgeable and provided a clear, detailed scope of work with transparent pricing. Marek, our project manager, handled all the permits, inspections, and final touch-ups efficiently and professionally.

The installation team was fantastic — skilled, fast, and clean. Special thanks to Peter, the plumber, and Peter, the finishing carpenter, for their outstanding craftsmanship. Every part of the project was completed with care and precision.

We’re thrilled with the final result and highly recommend 4Ever Remodeling to anyone considering a basement finishing or remodeling project. We would definitely use them again for future work!

SUMMARY: The 4Ever Remodeling team did an amazing job updating our 1960's bathroom! Generally, the 4Ever team was helpful, knowledgeable, professional, skilled, communicative, patient, prompt/reliable, neat, efficient, experienced, customer focused and organized. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND 4Ever!! That being said one aspect of working with 4Ever Remodeling was lacking -the design service. A big part of our choosing 4Ever was the design service included in signing with them. We looked forward to working with a designer to help us find the various finishes for our project. Someone who was going to walk us through picking all of our selections. In the end their designer was often not on the same page with us. We didn't feel listened too/ heard so most of the finishes we found on our own. This was a very disappointing part of the process. We would have included more specifics but Google reviews limits the number of lines one can enter.

We are so impressed with the kitchen remodel Southern Home Remodeling completed for us! We’ve been wanting to update our kitchen for years, and we’re so glad we chose a team based right here in Arlington. They were incredibly professional and really listened to what we wanted.

The whole process was smooth from start to finish. Since we live just off Poly Webb Road near Richard Simpson Park, it was a huge relief to have a local contractor who was always on time and easy to communicate with. The craftsmanship is excellent, and our new kitchen has completely changed the feel of our home. If you're in the Arlington area, especially near the Lake Arlington side, definitely give them a call. Brian and his team at Watermark Builders were terrific doing remodeling of our house from October, 2020 to about May, 2021. We would have no hesitation to recommend Watermark to anyone planning a remodeling project.
We have an old house built in 1958, on a a slope in Los Altos, in the Los Altos country club area. While we replaced some appliances over the years, the kitchen needed an update badly. We had a designer who developed a plan to knock down a few walls and make a great room, including kitchen, living and family room combined. It's a fair size remodeling. We stayed in the house during the remodeling, about 6-7 months. Brian and his younger brother, Brent, are a dream team. They have built some temporary doors and walls, to cut down the noise and dust, to make our stay in the house tolerable. They and their subcontractors were punctual, courteous and clean up the work area each day before they leave! We meet approximately weekly to discuss progress and resolve any concerns we had.

The two biggest concerns of any remodeling work are schedule and budget. There are some delays (but tolerable) and higher cost than the origional proposal. We feel pretty strongly the higher costs are mostly due to increased scope, either by our requests for additional work or un-anticipated problems encountered during remodeling. Afterall, this is a pretty old house and we have not done much during the 30+ years we have lived here.

What impressed us the most are dry wall cracks which appeared in early 2023, almost two years after the completion of our project. Brian/Brent came to inspect the cracks and found more cracks than our un-trained eyes have identified! They proposed fixes and worked around our schedule to remedy the problem to our complete satisfaction, in a very timely manner. NO CHARGE to us !!

Our experience was outstanding.  We started working with Watermark in early 2020 for a significant remodel of our kitchen, bathroom and fireplace.  Brian's approach to scoping the project was extremely detailed, personal and creative compared to other contractors' proposals. Brian took the time to get to know us and our vision for the project at completion. Subcontractors were brought in to look at the project to ensure they could identify issues or complexities that could derail the project while in process. He provided a detailed estimate and time line including recommendations for functional design and material ideas, many of which we included and made the form and function of our kitchen better than we'd envisioned. Brian and Brent, their team and all subcontractors are the most professional and personally engaged service providers we've ever worked with.  The project was planned to start in April 2020, just as the pandemic hit. They took the necessary time to evaluate the circumstances and revisit their schedule.  The project started late May 2020, outstanding given the circumstances! Throughout the project, they took all the necessary and extra precautions to keep our home clean and the kitchen and other areas accessible to the fullest extent possible.  Finally, the project was on time and on budget taking into consideration add-on's identified during the project. The main project, which included demolition, cabinet and drawer build outs, cabinet refacing, appliance installation and intricate tile installation (backsplash, flooring and floor to ceiling fireplace in stack stone) was completed in 2 months; all remaining add ons and punch list items by mid September 2020.  Since the project was completed, Brian and Brent and their team have provided premium follow up services related to any minor issues encountered after the project as well as helping us with a few unrelated matters that required skilled professionals.  We will look no further than Watermark for our next project.

I have provided structural engineering services (through Sezen & Moon Structural Engineering) for Brian Rose and Watermark Builders for a number of years on a handful of projects. What sets Watermark Builders apart from other contractors is that Brian is on-site on a regular basis and is hands-on. Brian is results driven and passionately cares about their projects and their clients. Other big name contractors prioritize sales, profit, and business where they can admittedly better promote themselves to win your contract, who then only delegate trades to the cheapest sub-contractors they can find to maximize their own gains. Brian is a do'er who is on-site and hands on. Knowing the industry through providing structural engineering services for dozens of clients and having previously worked for other contractors myself, Watermark Builders is one of the few contractors I would personally hire to to work on my own house.

I can speak specifically to a project that I worked with Brian on an intricate structural detail to install a floor to ceiling sliding door where previously un-permitted work was discovered that needed mediation. Instead of delegating the intricate work to some other framer, Brian did it himself making sure it was done right. When I provided the plans, I was skeptical on how he would pull it off. I was thoroughly impressed by how well the work was executed.

Living through a remodel is so hard but even in the disarray, I would come home to cleanliness. They held the same standards to their subcontractors and enforced this as needed.

As a CPA, the financial arrangements were top of mind and I was not disappointed. The mastery of the financial side of their business was nothing I had experienced before. Weekly meetings, progress reports and timely change orders. I paid weekly for the work performed which eased my mind. When you are spending a lot, paying for what you see happening is somehow more comforting.
