I highly recommend “The Plumber Company“!!! Brandon explained everything to us and told us what the other two plumbers I asked for quotes, never mentioned to us. The other plumbers were just going to bandaid the job and take our money! Then later we’d have to have the pipe replaced down the road. We had a back up and the two other plumbers never suggested putting a camera in the pipe line to see what was happening in the first place. When we saw all the roots in the pipe and the standing water in the pipe 15 feet from the house, we knew we had to go with Brandon (The Plumber Company)!!!! He is very knowledgeable and spelled everything out to us. The day of the repair Brandon and Lee did an awesome job of replacing our sewer pipe from the house to the street! They were punctual, professional and worked like dogs!!!!!!! Thank you so much Brandon!!!!!!! ❤️🥰

In fall 2021, I called the Plumber Co to look at my oil furnace which was having problems that my present company couldn't diagnose. I was told that I needed a new oil burner put on the furnace. Since it was 30+ years old, I agreed. The burner 'specialisr' came with a burner that wasn't the same brand as my furnace but said he would try to attach it. In 1 hour he had it working. The charge was $2100. Later looking up the exact part he used, I found that the prices online ranged from $750-$850.
In Dec 2022, I called for a yearly cleaning. Two guys came and I told them I was occasionally hearing a rattling noise that I'd never heard before. They couldn't find anything wrong and said that sometimes furnaces just make noises. In Jan 2023, I went downstairs to find that water had flooded the floor from the furnace. It was making terrible loud grating noises. I immediately called the Plumber Co and made an appt. The same 'specialist' who had installed the new burner came. He looked at it and had no idea what was wrong. All he could advise was to put a bucket under the discharge pipe to see where the water came out and call next time it flooded. One hour after he left, the heat went off in the largest zone. He had guaranteed that although I might have noise & floods, the heat would remain on. It was still within regular work hours on that Fri. I called both The Plumber Co and the specialist's cell phone. No one answered either. I begged for help with no heat going into the weekend. They NEVER called back. Not that day, Sat, Sun, or the next week. They just left me with no heat because the specialist, though he mentioned some possibilities, didn't know what was wrong. I spent the weekend calling other companies and trying to heat the house with portable electric heaters. On Mon the service person from another company came, and he knew what was wrong in less than 5 minutes. His diagnosis was not any of the repairs the other guy suggested. Stay away from the Plumber Co if you have an oil furnace. I talked with many other services during my struggle to find help, and one of them said he'd heard that the Plumber Co doesn't always answer their calls. I am so lucky I found the other company before it got cold enough to freeze my pipes. I'd give zero stars if I could.

I actually posted a very positive response several months ago, that was before there was a problem. After installing the new heating system and chimney liner the final part was to install a chimney cap. The first cap blew off within 24 hrs, the second one dangled on the chimney side within 48 hrs. The guys that came to remove it reported that they were plumbers, not chimney/roof guys. I have emailed, called, texted and left a message on the company website, NO ONE has gotten back to me about completing the project. They did a nice job otherwise and the crews that came out were nice as well. Now that there’s an ongoing problem, the owner/office person presents as incredibly unprofessional. Very disappointing

The tech had a bad an attitude when he arrived. I had a main drain flow valve installed by this tech and he seemed upset when he arrived he was all puffy in his dreamer. We found that it was the sprinkler over flow valve and he did look at it for me to help trouble shoot issue - but you could tell he was upset. Keep in mind I was polite and told him you look upset! Well it was the sprinkler over flow valve - but the tech put the spring back upside down. Regardless, I asked the tech how much he would charge to repair sprinkler over flow valve and immediately without skipping a beat he said $450. I was able to get the part myself at the locking parts dept for $42. The prices are outrageous. Thus is not meant to be a negative review, but the owner needs to be aware of this tech’s customer service attitude - he is suppose to represent the company and owner of company and has failed in thus area. Again this is the customers side of the story and not just hearing the techs side of the story - I wish everyone well but I would not use this company again because of two fronts, I am not sure of their spontaneous pricing and the alleged (techs) supervisory attitude- he does not represent the company in good fashion when asked questions to his work!

Brandon completed the work based on quote to install an updated meter system for my home in Newport. First of all 5 star service. Sometimes when you meet a representative like Brandon for a company like The Plumbing Company ... You just know, there's no doubts.
This was the case with Brandon. Great plumber for a great company. Brandon did this install with no issues no stress, just like he said in his quote, providing excellent work, communication and timeliness just as we discussed and planned, charging the quoted price, which all things considered was very fair. What can you say in 'a word' to express the value appreciation for contracted work:

Brandon provided quote for necessary work at my private residence. Excellent Service and professionalism ... Expect the same when the work is completed. Reasonable price. STELLAR! We had a leaking pipe in a small space that is used for all of our storage. Impressive response time, Brandon came out that day and replaced the valve within an hour. No leaks, no ridiculous prices. We will definitely be using The Plumber Company again. Thank you!!

Just had my Navien unit serviced yesterday. The technician was very polite and seemed knowledgeable. However The Plumber Company charged us $1,000.00 for about 4 or 5 hours of service!!!! Totally outrageous rates for Rhode Island. Do not recommend.

Had an error code on my tankless water heater, they responded within 24hrs. Diagnosed and repaired within a weeks time(had to order parts from manufacturer). Excellent service! Subsequently had them repair a faucet and toilet valve. Would definitely refer them and will use again in the future!

Thank you Jason and The Plumber Company for fixing my ancient heater :-) Very happy with the work done and reasonable pricing. Response time was next day and promptly on time. Jason was very knowledgeable, professional, personable, friendly and courteous. Explained the problem in detail and offered solutions in understandable terms. Also chatted about other household issues that the company had experience in repairing. I highly recommend The Plumber Company and look forward to calling them again. The Plumber Company quickly assessed our hot water problem, proposed a solution and provided a reasonable estimate. We couldn't be more pleased with the workmanship, professionalism of the technicians and the result which was better than we anticipated. Very good to work with! Have had them come for numerous house plumbing / heating projects in the Newport area. They respond to phone calls and I've liked being able to setup a time / date that worked for my work schedule. All of the technicians have been top-notch in their skills and knowledge. Would recommend.

I saw water leaking from my hot water heater at 9:00 am today. Called the Plumber Co and they sent someone right away. It is 3:00pm the same day and they have installed a new heater removed my old one cleaned up perfectly. Angel was very helpful answering all my questions and making me very comfortable with a new plumber. I would recommend them

This company is our go to plumbing/heating company. They replaced a couple of water heaters for us in the past and today they installed a new furnace. We own a multi family home and emergencies come up. Anytime I've needed them to come on short notice they were able to accomodate me. I will always use them from now on. The guys are hard working and honest. Angel was here most of the day and he did a phenomenal job. He was very personable and on time. Thier prices are reasonable as well. I can't say enough good things about them.

Very responsive in getting me a written quote after evaluating the project on-site. Received a very fair price for a new heating furnace and 3 hot water heaters. Shane, the installer, was extremely responsive and professional. I highly recommend this company for your heating and plumbing services.

The Plumber Company did an excellent job at every level of replacing my ancient beast oil burner with a high-efficiency gas furnace. They answered promptly, scheduled quickly, and gave an immediate bid...which was slightly more than HALF of two other bids.

Alexis in the office was so accommodating in rescheduling the job more than once, so I could use up the oil I had already purchased. She is super-efficient and friendly, too.

We had a sump pump installed. The scheduling was super easy. They followed up right away. We had an appointment in 24 hours.

We had a new radiator installed and some leaky valves and vents on our steam heat system. Super responsive and easy to communicate with. Someone came to the house and gave me an estimate before the work started. Folks came on time every time. They did the work exactly at they said and charged exactly what they said they would charge. Folks cleaned up after themselves and were kind and courteous the whole time they were at my house. For a new radiator, 3 new valves, and a new vent it was $2,512. I really can’t tell you if that’s a fair price or not since I know nothing about being a steam heat repair service but I think it’s good to talk about money whenever money is involved. I’ll definitely call them again when I need more work done.

So many great things with this company. Alexis did a awesome job getting me scheduled and installed with ease, the whole process was perfect. The technician Ryan and his crew Angel and Matt were such hard workers and so knowledgeable with every question I had. Definitely will recommend them and use them again in the future.

I had The Plumber Company service my Navien Combi System for a few years now, yesterday they came out and told me I needed a new system (we had been struggling with losing hot water, the heat not coming for quite some time) so I knew this to be true. The company that originally installed the unit was NOT even considered for servicing or new install, as they did a horrible installation. SEE PIC A, PIC B is the installation that The Plumber Company just did, what a dfference. This team of 3 did a fantastic job.
