Excellent company and even better customer serviced. Saw a leak in my 5 yr old water heater 2/2/22 @ 9:00am. Spent about 1.5 hrs calling around, getting estimates. Not only did they have the best full estimate, Alexis also did all the leg work finding the warranty and supplier. No other company even offered to do that. Saving me hundreds. They did everything and were completely finished at my home by 1:30. Unbelievable service. Maybe a bad day very painless. Greatly appreciated Alexis and Angel. Top quality service and people. You will be the company I call moving forward.

Last night I got a call from one of my employees saying that there was water leaking through the wall at a quick rate. The dining room and bathroom were being flooded.
I tried the business manager for the building but they left and I couldn't get ahold of them, and the business next to us that seemed to be where the water was comming from had closed for the night. There was no way to access the main water line because, no business manager = no keys to get to.
John was our plumber that came in a timely manner, even though it was late at night. He had to preform the only option with the sources available. It was unbelievable to see him pull off cutting 2 of the punctured waterline in half, and then attaching temporary valves onto the water gushing lines. If he did not do this, our entire building would be a foot deep in water by the time the building manager came in today.
Thanks John for your bravery in that task last night. You are a true hero!

Since buying my home in June of 2016 I have had just about every plumber from this company over to fix this or that problem. They are prompt, reliable, and fair. This is the only company I trust for my home's plumbing. While all the technicians are great, Bernie is our favorite!

I got an estimate for a boiler by far the most intuitive quote I've ever gotten went over everything step by step I couldn't have asked for more but the price was quite a bit steeper than my other 3 quotes unfortunately. Would have preferred to use Phillips but 8900 vs 13000 was a big difference. Would use for my radiator servicing though!

These guys are the best!!! I tried calling a few plumbers to replace my Gas water heater, and I kept getting the run around. I talked with Phillips, and they called me right away to set up an appointment. The installer was Ryan, and he was pleasant and very easy to deal with. The next time I have a plumbing issue, I'm calling them 1st. If you need a plumber, give them a call.

This was my first time calling due to a water heater issue , not only were they able to fit us in that day but they arrived within 30-45 minutes! The fastest and most helpful experience. Will definitely be calling again for future needs!

I called last week to set an appointment between 330 and 4 for somebody to come into my house to put in a backflow. Preventer period 4 o'clock came nothing I called them. They said, oh, we just called you. We're not coming because you didn't answer these people do not no what they are doing. They quoted me up to $4000 for a backslop preventor. Are they crazy

I had a clogged bathroom sink and a p-trap that did not allow for a quick disassembly. It was glued together and thus had to be cut in order to access it. I called Phillips for a non-emergency fix requesting that a new P-trap be installed to allow for easier access should it become clogged in the future. Phillips came out and cut out the P-trap but discovered the clog was further down the pipe. instead of fixing the clog himself, the technician outsourced the job to a subcontractor who cleared the drain and crudely clamped the drain back together. This was supposed to be the conclusion of the job. I immediately called Phillips who put me in touch with the technician who wanted to charge me an additional $117 just to put the drain back together in a proper way. I had already paid a whopping $404 for a pipe to be cut and for a subcontractor to put a snake down my drain. After getting nowhere with the technician, I called the office and spoke to Natalie who sent the technician back to my house to complete the job. The job did not include what I initially asked for which was a p-trap assembly that allowed for easier disassembly. Very disappointed! I will never use them again!

They were able to send Bernie out day of for a non-emergency issue. He came around 5pm and stayed till around 7:30 and was able to resolve our issue, which we really appreciated his willingness to work late. He was polite, straight forward and very clean which was nice as he was doing pipe work in a freshly reglazed bathroom with new floors

Something that caught us off guard was they had a $40 charge for them to come out to give a quote, that I didn't recall hearing about prior to him coming out.

We purchased a home in Providence RI in Jan of 2013. During our inspection the boiler clearly need replacing. Over the course of the summer I got seven quotes to replace the boiler, some cheap some expensive and some down right IDIOTIC!

Phillips plumbing was a pleasure to deal with, professional office staff gray techs and really awesome workmanship. They installed our new boiler converting from oil to gas and removing the oil tank from our basement. All the workers were conscious of keep the mess down and making sure everything was to our satisfaction before they left. The installation was really really nice work. I'm a mechanically minded person and a bit of a geek and the quality of the installation made me really happy.

We had a minor issue with the system a couple weeks after the install, it was an issue with the boiler itself NOT their work, they sent someone out within an hour of calling. It was also the same tech that had done the install so he was not only familiar with the job but made my wife more comfortable seeing a familiar face in the house.

These guy were not the cheapest quote I got but the quality of their work and the honest and really spot on communication was well worth the small premium we payed for them to do the work. I hope when you need plumbers you're lucky enough to stumble across an outfit as good as these guys.

From start to finish, we had the best experience with Phillips Plumbing & Mechanical. When we called late Wednesday night for a plumbing problem, Kim quickly returned our call and was so helpful. John took care of us later that evening. Our issue was resolved FIRST thing Thursday morning by Leroy. Leroy was WONDERFUL! Thank you all for being so responsive and professional.

My boiler gave out CO levels high!! Phillips Plumbing came right out estimated the work returned in a timely manner with a replacement boiler!! Beautiful work!! They have taken very good care of me! I had uneven heat distribution due to being on one zone always cold on one floor and hot on another and now they have given me two zones which we are now very comfortable. Reinstalled 2 subpumps, 1 year ago, because of a failure. Found out this week that one of the pumps installed was a 2015 model. 7 years old.
Called, spoke to Pam, she said John would call, no response .
Also, they installed the pipes with check values that just recycled the water back into the well.
Glad I had it checked by the company that installed in it 2005.
Unfortunately, we have been with this company for many years with many services done.
This is very disappointing and even though the service man did the work ,the company is still responsible.

We bought an old house with lots of issues. Kyle came and couldn’t figure out the problem right away. He came back the next day, discovered the issue and started working diligently. It’s going to be a big project but he was very honest and accommodating. He was super friendly and great with my crazy kids.
I had to contact the office with some questions and Sue was just wonderful. Very thorough and patient. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service we have received thus far. Great company! I would highly recommend!

Thank you Phillips Plumbing for yet another job well done. This is the second time we've used them for a big job. The first time they installed a new boiler and this job included putting in a full bathroom in basement as well as replacing all the old cast iron piping to complete a remodel. Not only were they reasonable in pricing the care and neatness of their work is unbelievable! The staff is amazing and had the pleasure of working with not only the owner John, but Mike and Scot as well as the girls in the office Kim and Patty. You guys are the best! We couldn't be more satisfied! We won't use anyone else.Highly recommend.
