Shane obviously is an expert in his field. Time was taken to understand our needs and gather pertinent information at the start. All our questions were answered, our options, costs and the processes involved for each explained clearly. We received excellent advise and a fair detailed quote.

Woke up last Friday to discover we had no hot water. My husband called at 7:30 am and was told someone would get back to him. Within 10 minutes he had a return call and an appointment for a plumber to arrive by lunch time. A second call from Omar (who performed our work) a short time later, let us know that he be there shortly; a full 3 hours earlier than promised. Omar diagnosed the problem and provided options for repair vs. replace. After deciding what to do, Omar was able to order the replacement tank and completed the work by noon on Saturday. He was quick to respond to texts from my husband, and we couldn't be happier with the work. We will hire this company again.

I called this company for the replacement of most of my water fixures around the house, thinking that I had to call another company in to do the HVAC work I needed done. NOPE, they do it all! They were able to replace my inside and outside faucets & serviced both my heating unit and AC system, Because I did BOTH maintenances on the systems they gave me 20% off. What is better than that? Definately my new Plumbing and HVAC company. Thanks to the Office Manager Alexis for expediting a technician so quickly and Shayne was very nice, clean and efficient!!

We highly recommend the Plumber Co. of Newport. We required emergency service. The sewer pipe to the street was plugged and the basement had an unpleasant back flow. They came immediately and cleared the drain. Using a camera on a snake, Brandon gave us the bad news that there were dips in the line which could result in a recurrence of blockages. He gave us a quote for excavating the sewer line from the house to the street. It was amazing to watch them dig up the old line which was indeed not built to code. Brandon was a work horse and the sewer line was reconnected by the end of the day, something we thought would not be possible. Kyle also replaced a 25-year-old garbage disposal very efficiently.

Removed oil tank, boiler, and water heater. Converted to on demand hot water. Craig, Shane, Lee and the other guys were amazing. Did an amazing job. Clean, efficient, and on time. Always resonded to my questions and offered advice. Will definitely use them again and refer my friends...

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I called to make an appointment and they sent someone out right away. The person they sent gave me an extremely high estimate for the job. Explained that he would have to takedown a plaster ceiling to get to the pipe and assured me that they would reduce the estimate by 20%. I believe I was being price gauged. The very next day I had the problem fixed in less then an hour for a 1/3 of the estimate. I felt like I was being fleeced .

Brandon was on time, professional and friendly. Installed a new garbage disposal quickly and easily. Will hire again this company again for any future home projects. Much better than the last plumber I hired over the summer! Thank you again

This 5 star review is specifically for Shayne. We had our boiler blow and flood our basement . As you can imagine it’s an incredibly difficult time. Shayne came in and immediately put us at ease. He was professional, trustworthy and took the time to explain what he was doing and how the issue arose. If you are going to use this company i would recommend asking for him.

I just had Kyle E. and Kyle S. come out to replace an extremely old cast iron sewer pipe that was leaking in the basement. - The pipe was so fragile and it broke right at the basement foundation. They called the Owner Ron who came right away to take a look to see the best way to handle my situation. They carefully dug out and carefully cut what was left of the pipe on a fitting and replaced the leaking pipe saving me so much!! It looked like it would be a nightmare for me, but they were so careful and helped me so much! I could not be any happier with these guys and this company!! Would highly recommend!!

Ryan at the Plumber company has always been someone we could trust to do the job and be honest in the process. He is on time and always is available to answer questions about a project. I will utilize his services again.

The Plumber Company has helped me with 3 furnace installations, a sewer connection, and multiple other smaller repairs and projects. They're always on time, do an excellent job, and leave the site clean. Highly recommend!

I was called back in the same day with a rapid estimate between 200-250 dollars less than the two other companies and Angi only quoted the service with out the heater. Got an appt with in 5 days, they were on time , polite, professional and cleaned up the mess in a reasonable time.

This company is amazing. Brandon came to our house when our pipes froze. It was really bad. We had to replace 9 pipes because our boiler broke while we were on vacation. We came home and it was 11 degrees in our house. Brandon stayed until 1am in the morning to fix our pipes so we could get the boiler back on before the big storm that was coming the next day. When we were about to lose hope, he came up with a creative "closed circuit" solution that was nothing short of genius. This company (and Brandon) really helped us and we are very grateful!

I don't think I have never written an online review before, but our experience with this company was so upsetting that I am moved to warn others. We wish it were incompetence but we have to suspect deceitfulness: The Plumber Company was called to fix a steam leak and change a sight glass kit on our newish boiler, which was otherwise happily heating our house — and proceeded to present us with mounting bills, ultimately totaling in the $5,000 range — finally leaving our furnace disassembled, and cold, in February, as we tried to understand their changing diagnosis of the “problem.”

Their tactics felt coercive and amazingly shady: to turn our boiler off (by sabotage of the pressuretrol) and chill us (and our small child) into giving in and paying their exorbitant fees for really dubious diagnoses.

We finally — after paying the Plumber Company $1200 for what we learned was that few-hundred-dollar sight glass job; fool us once — found an alternative plumber, who swiftly remedied the (overblown, if not invented/created...) “problem” for a few hundred $.

This experienced alternative plumber had to agree: It looked an awful lot like the Plumber Company had destroyed our pressuretrol, rather than replace the 25-dollar pig tail that was clogged and preventing the pressuretrol from functioning right.

(I should have suspected further scams, in retrospect. In the question of the initial steam leak, they at first said they’d have to bring in a threader to replace ten feet of pipe, when in fact that ten feet led to nothing relevant — to a defunct non-essential industrial heater mounted on the ceiling in a basement corner. When I pointed out the meaningless of that section of the system, they backtracked about new pipe and the need for a threader, which if I hadn't caught would have been a 2000-dollar “mistake”.)

The most upsetting day was the last, when they said if we didn’t want to pay $2300 dollars, on top of $1200 we’d paid for no good results, we could “turn the thermostat back on.” The thermostat was not off. We never heard from them again, after periodic calls from us to the company all day.

Thank goodness for honest and knowledgeable plumbers/furnace technicians in winter, responsive and decent and ready to help new homeowners with young kids—- the perfect opposite of what we met at The Plumber Company. I recommend The Plumber Company to no one.

My company was subcontracted by this company and was completely ghosted regarding payment for services provided. I do not recommend any company to work with them due to their irresponsible actions and 3 years later our invoice has still not been paid.

Cheers Douglas, I appreciate the good business acumen...

I sought the services of this firm to evaluate and carry out major repairs on an old residential steam heating system. Because I'm a strong DIY type, I looked very hard to find competent experts whose analysis I could trust. Though I had consulted with several companies that were purportedly experts in steam heating systems, Doug stood out for his deep knowledge, incisive analysis of likely past and future causes of problems in the system, and his very practical suggestions for addressing these issues both comprehensively, and in order of relative importance. I doubt that you will find a more knowledgeable expert in the Providence area.

The Plumber Company scheduled an appointment for the very next day when other companies told me 3-4 weeks. The techs were friendly and fixed the issue quickly while explaining the problem. I thought the pricing was very fair. I will be using them for all of my AC/heat/plumbing issues in the future!

This company is horrible. They charged us for work that was not done. They charged us for 25 feet of piping that was not used. When we called them on it they issued us a slight refund after several weeks (which was good) but then several weeks after that we found out they also didn't clean our boiler like they were suppose to do. Another plumber confirmed this for us. It was filthy. Cleaning the boiler was on the original work order and we were charged $300 for that. They refuse to return calls back to us when we requested a refund. I don't recommend this company at all.

Ryan was awesome. Great prices. They even returned and did not charge me anything when the unit didnt fire after cleaning. There was an existing broken wire and they fixes it and also grabbed filters that were in the basement and changed them out proactively. Walked through both units and was very polite to my tenants. Will use again!

We recently purchased a home and the water stopped running in one area of our house. The Plumber Company was there to answer our call immediately and had someone out within a couple of hours. They were able to quickly diagnose and unfreeze the pipes. Would definitely recommend them!
