Our AC was down for a couple days during one of the hottest weeks of the year. The gentleman that came to the rescue was by the name of Johnny. What a nice guy. He gave me all the necessary information I needed to know about and how frequently I should have it looked at so it didn't happen again. Thanks to Johnny we're staying cool. Highly recommend.

Jacob was fantastic today! He was very thorough, pleasant and took the time to explain what he was fixing! Additionally, he answered my questions and showed me how things worked in the unit. And… he protected my rug and completely cleaned up the area where was working!

The short version: You'll want a professional cleaning for your mini-splits and Evergreen did a great job. Worth every penny!!!

The Long story:
I discovered the big dirty secret about mini-splits. I installed a mini-split system a little over 3 years ago. So I started to notice them in more buildings and business. I noticed a lot of them looked dirty with dirt spots on them. After some research on line and calling 2 major manufacturers, they only say to clean the air filters ever month or 2. Nothing about the build up that I started to notice on older units in other buildings. Turns out this is mildew and mold and the only way to get rid of it is by taking the unit partially apart and use some specialized products and tools. Even the manufacturers admitted this after being pushed on the subject. Check out on YouTube, there some informative videos about cleaning mini-splits. You will be shocked!!! And you'll want yours cleaned!! Take a look inside your units you'll see the dirt spots. (mildew and mold)

I had a heat pump water heater installed. John that came out and gave me a quote followed up if I had questions. Water heater was installed the day after I accepted the quote. They did a great job on the install. I will use them again

HORRIBLE! Had a tech scheduled for Sunday 11/9/2025 12-4pm. Received a text the day before that they could come 8-12pm. I was thinking even better. However no one showed at all ! No call No show. Wasted a whole day waiting. Still till this day no call, no reschedule, no apology. Plus they charge around 250 just to come out. Most companies are around 140. Better choices out there in my opinion.

Evergreen did an amazing job installing our gas furnace! Within 24 hours Omar had my mother in law up and running! Excellent customer service!!

Service was completed and the technician was professional, but pricing lacked transparency. A standard barometric draft regulator replacement and boiler tune-up were billed at bundled rates without itemization. When I asked for a breakdown of labor versus materials, I was told those details are confidential and based on an internal price book.
Work appears to have been done properly, but customers who value clear pricing may want to ask detailed questions upfront.

This is my first experience with Evergreen, but it will not be the last. Everything was professional from my initial phone call to the completion of the job. One of my furnaces has been making a loud explosion like noise. It was so loud that it would sometimes wake us up. We had an other HVAC contractor look at the furnace last year. He cleaned the furnace thinking the problem was delayed ignition. This did not eliminate the noise.
Nelson arrived yesterday at the scheduled time. He checked the burner. He quickly diagnosed the actual problem as expand and contracting of the duct work. He worked for several hours adding braces to the system.
Problem solved. Thank you Evergreen and Nelson.

This is my first time using Evergreen. I am 100% satisfied with everything from the initial contact, appointment status and updates and I can’t thank my technician Nelson enough. He arrived on time, gave me a complete evaluation of the problem which turned out to be a bad furnace blower motor. Nelson explained exactly what needed to be done, the estimate of cost and how long the repair would take. I thought the price as fair and Nelson did a great job with the repair.
Evergreen will be my go company from now on for any HVAC or plumbing issues.

Called Evergreen to have central air added onto my existing system. Best decision I’ve made in a long time. System is working flawlessly above and beyond expectations. The technician that showed up was named Johnny. He was very knowledgeable and helped me through the process explaining every step that was taking place. System was up and running after 2 days and I couldn’t be happier. Great price, great service, great product. Will recommend Evergreen to family and friends!!!

We lost heat in our condo in the beginning of January and it was determined that we needed to replace our entire HVAC system. Not ideal in winter in NE! John was great to work with - we had reached out to a few places for estimates before calling Evergreen. Once he knew we had been without heat, John was able to come over that day to provide an estimate on the spot and was very friendly and reassuring that there wouldn't be any issues getting the new system installed. We had a couple questions once we received the estimate and he was very knowledgeable on the process, what we needed, and was quick to get back to us.

We had a few hiccups with timing as we needed a crane to do part of the job and then the snowstorm on 1/24-1/25, but John was always in contact and available and we only needed to reschedule once from the storm, all things that were out of our control, but we felt like the Evergreen team really was working hard to make this happen ASAP for us. The replacement process took 2 full days, in which the crew worked diligently in a foot of snow on our roof and freezing temps to finish this job before the weekend. We did have one issue, where after the job was completed and we still couldn't get our home over 55 degrees, but we called John the next morning and he was able to get a tech over ASAP. Nelson was AMAZING and got it fixed in under an hour and stuck around a little extra to make sure everything was working as it was supposed to.

We’ve relied on Evergreen for 30 years — in our old two-family home in Providence and now, and now in our retirement condo in Pawtucket. Evergreen recently installed a tankless hot water heater and heat pump in our condo. The heat pump qualified for a federal rebate, ant it delivers the most consistently comfortable heat yet.

Recently switched out old central air conditioning with new energy efficient A/C at my home. The service technicians worked diligently, for hours, until they were able to provide the best service. My home had old wires which were not comparable with newer equipment, but they did not give up until it was up and running. The technicians kept me abreast of the situation and well informed throughout the process, which I appreciated.

They were also very courteous and friendly.

I am more than impressed with the work that Adam did replacing most of my furnace. He also explained everything clearly, and did the job quickly and cleanly. Evergreen is also great at communication and keeping me informed of all appointments— excellent customer service !

We were looking for a RELIABLE and AFFORDABLE heating and plumbing company to install baseboard heating in our lower level since there was none. We called Evergreen who responded right away. We were able to get a next day appointment for an eval. The gentleman that came to do the evaluation was very pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. I forgot his name (sorry).
Johnny (on the spot) and Luis did the installation. They were great!
Again, very pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. They paid attention to the minor details as far aesthetics (you'll see in one of the pics I posted of how he cut around the internet thing in the wall). Looked really good in our entertainment room.
The owner came to inspect and told us that if the board in my office didn't heat efficiently, they'd come back and install a higher efficiency one for NO additional cost, which they did.
Just for context, my office made it possible to only put in 1 baseboard and the owner questioned if that would provide efficient heat.
Also, the owner gave us a whole lesson on our whole heating system, including what each of the knobs were as well as how to maintain our boiler and water heater to get longer years of use. Much appreciated! Thank you!
We got a 2nd zone installed since it was more sensible for us.
