Kevin is great! We called and made the appointment the day before and he happened to have an opening! On time, courteous and overall very knowledgeable!!! He checked out our gas fireplace and furnace and made sure we were good to go for the winter! We will be having Kevin come back for our AC check in the summer!!!!

Despite being expensive to repair, A/C is a necessity in South Carolina. So after several recommendations from neighbors, we chose Quality Controls to replace our rusted and leaking evaporator coil. A great decision!!

My gas fireplace was in serious need of cleaning and all around service. I haven't used it nearly 2 years! I found Quality Controls after a Google search. Within 15 minutes Kevin Welch, the owner contacted me after a request for service. Kevin arrived promptly within the hour at the door. I knew that Kevin was a PRO from his courteous demeanor, cleanliness and attention to detail. Kevin also went above and beyond expectations and made sure the system operated properly. My old fireplace looks brand new after he performed his service! I would highly recommend Kevin of Quality Controls to cover your air control and fireplace needs!

My experience working with Kevin was truly exceptional from start to finish! Called Quality Controls HVAC late in the afternoon about the lack of cool air on our main level, and he told me they'd try and squeeze me in same day. Showed up shortly and walked me through everything from the original diagnosis (refrigerant leak), repair/replacement options, and a detailed cost explanation of every aspect of his recommended solution. Upfront + reasonable pricing, no upselling, and truly knowledgeable in a way that made me feel comfortable making the right decisions. Kevin cares about his customers and it truly shows...couldn't recommend him highly enough!

I scheduled an appointment with Kevin, who is the owner of Quality Controls Heating and AC, for Wednesday, 1/17/18. Unfortunately we had a snow storm hit the area that day so Kevin called to postpone the appointment until the next day. I appreciated the call as most professionals do not notify you (unfortunately) if they are unable to be on time or make an appointment. Kevin also called me about 1/2 hour before the appointment time letting me know he would be on time for my Thursday appointment which was scheduled for 12 noon.

Once Kevin arrived, he immediately diagnosed the problem I was having, showed me what the solution and had the fireplace working within 1/2 hour. I have a remote control unit for my fireplace which was not working, so I was also interested in having that fixed. Kevin offered me two solutions: he could buy the new remote control and replace it for me ($189) or I could buy it and replace it myself ($107). Kevin gave me the model of the remote and the link on Amazon to order it. Kevin recommended a fireplace cleaning ($129) which I agreed to, as it had not been cleaned in some 20 years. Kevin's initial $59 appointment fee was included in the $129.

My fireplace is running again and I am very satisfied with his work. He was very courteous but professional in his assessment of my fireplace problems and went over various solutions to address them. I would gladly rehire Kevin again if I have any other fireplace problems.

I have used quality controls heating and air conditioning for two service calls now, and I am completely pleased with both the professionalism and knowledge of Kevin. He was both kind and courteous in his dealing with a house full of kids, and with me as I have a naturally inquisitive nature and ask a lot of questions. He has performed both an annual tune-up and a service call for what turned out to be a zone issue. He works fast, he cleaned up the work area after, and explained the issue very clearly to my wife and I. He is trustworthy and I will be calling him back for every annual check up on our unit, and any issues between. In short, I have no issue recommending him to any friend or family member and have full confidence in him that he will provide the same level of service to anyone who calls.

We have been using Quality Controls for years. They are professional and honest. They never try to sell you things you don't need. They explain everything in layman's term so you understand it. They even service gas fireplaces. Many people in my neighborhood use them too. I wouldn't call anyone else. They're the best !!!

AC condenser unit was humming but the blades would not spin. I texted them and they fit me into their schedule asap and my house was back to cooling in less than an hour!!!

(FULL DISCLOSURE: They are just down the street and I neighborly texted them at a shameless 745 am, but hey- its July in the Carolinas, I aint playin' with this nonsense)

I know that can't always be the case, but this is not the first time I've need their services, but every time they are so fast to get here, get it fixed and get me back to life. Thank you again!!!

I would highly recommend Quality Control HVAC. Kevin and his wife Amy are a great team to have do your annual A/C tuneup. They are very knowledgeable and up front with the condition of your system. They also came out prior to the winter season and checked the furnace and also our gas fireplace. They cleaned and adjusted the the complete fireplace. Excellent service. Will definitely have them back for any heating and cooling needs.

Kevin and Amy are almost like family at this point. They are honest and skilled, thorough and they follow up. Even left us a fan to use when our house was 86 degrees at night in August. Highly recommend!!

Iv’e been using them for several years and they are amazing! My air went out one summer and they came on a Sunday before I left for vacation to fix my air conditioner. Since then, they’ve maintained my HVAC, Air Conditioner and gas fireplace! They are reliable and reasonable! I would highly recommend their services!!

Michael & Son was exceptional from start to finish. I spoke to Lee at 1PM and by 5PM the same day Navell Brown fixed the shower leak. Mr Brown was very professional and friendly. Super nice guy with a great sense of humor.

The price was competitively priced and reasonable. Their communications were exceptional. They kept me informed by text and phone on timing of service. Super clean and gave me valuable tips on future maintenance repairs. I highly recommend Michael & Son Services!!
