I had a leak in the wall with water dripping into the crawlspace. So I called Metro and the tech came out, looked around and quoted $550 to diagnose where the leak was. I thought this was reasonable and agreed. And, it took him about 3 hours to find out that it was located behind the dishwasher in the houses main drain. I was thinking this is great, he can remove the dishwasher, cut a hole into the drywall, and fix the leak. It shouldn't take more than a few more hours. He gave me a quote for $2900. And this did not include fixing the drywall. Needless to say I told him No.
This is none other than a company trying to take advantage of the customer. On top of that, they charged me the $80+ service fee so the total bill was over $600. $200 an hour for the diagnostic. $1000 an hour for the repair. Is that at all reasonable to you?
I have used Metro multiple times in the past, but this was the last.

We needed same-day service to clear a blocked drain. Metro was there that afternoon and offered an up-front $93 fee for an uncomplicated service. Ronnie cleared the drain quickly. He was professional and personable. We actually paid just $93.00. I will definitely use them again!

David Houck was outstanding!!! Very thorough, explained things well before and after the work. He was polite and easy to speak with about my concerns/needs. I would highly recommend Metro, particularly David.
Since leaving this review, I had follow up work with Braydon who was excellent.
After signing up for Metros service plan, Chandler came to go over my HVAC units and was outstanding! Every technician communicated so well!
Update - the website claims that they are open 24/7 - they are not. No emergency services on the weekend.

I just had the sweetest, kindest and most patient plumber at my house, Izaac! He took his time with me, answered all my questions and gave me several options for service. Izaac is probably the most kind and professional service individual I have had come to my house for any kind of service. If you can recommend him, I strongly suggest you ask for him for your service! He is the best!!!

We used Metro Plumbing to fix a fairly major plumbing issue in our new house. They were excellent with communication, showed up with a huge crew on time, ready to work and dressed professionally. They kept the chaos to a minimum and cleaned up after they left: Richard did a great job of explaining the issue and managing the job and Josh was outstanding at project management. We highly recommend Metro Plumbing!

This was our first time to use Metro Plumbing. They came to do a whole house plumbing assessment before installing a Halo water purification system. Gray and his helper Josh were amazing! In the 18 years we have lived here, we have never had anyone offer a whole house assessment, & it was definitely needed! Gray was very thorough & found several minor issues before they could become big problems. We will be replacing our 21-year old water heater, which had begun to leak—before it causes a problem. We also learned our pressure valve had failed, which we would not have known without this assessment.

To address a problem with a yard hydrant, we had to go out in the pasture with our Dexter cattle. Gray & Josh were such good sports & were great around the cows, who gave them an enthusiastic 4 hooves up (and a friendly tongue-licking!)

Gray was very helpful & thorough giving us various options for a Halo water purification system. We are thrilled to no longer be drinking Walker County water & are very excited that Metro can install our system tomorrow! We’re very, very happy that we called Metro & highly recommend them.

My experience with Metro as a first time customer highlighted their smooth and convenient scheduling process as well as the quality of their certified professional staff. Brayden (McFall) was knowledgeable and he clearly provided me with evidence in support of his recommendations for remedying the cause of our leak (a damaged water fixture supply line). He provided repair in a timely and efficient manner. He also performed an evaluation of our whole home plumbing status and recommended maintenance to extend the life of our water heaters and ensure proper functioning.

I will gladly seek out Metro and b their certified plumber, Brayden, for our future plumbing and HVAC needs.

Well, I cannot recommend Metro enough. They quickly responded to our appointment request, and sent two of the most friendly, professional and knowledgeable servicemen we've ever had in our home (Ryan and Jason, Chattanooga area). They not only did an awesome job on the repair/clean-up, but also took the time to talk to us about different areas of concern around the house, discussed options/services, answered questions... and all without being the typical "pushy salesmen". They made us feel comfortable enough to make our own educated decision regarding our repair options (shower temp. issue), and overall left a great impression on us with their excellent customer service and communication. Kudos to these two gentleman for going above and beyond with everything they did today. We will 100% be calling Metro again for any future service needs. Thanks again, guys!

Fixed my leak and cleaned up my yard. Excellent job. I couldn't be more pleased with the end results.

We have had nothing but good experiences with Metro! We have had them look at our a/c, plumbing, and septic tank within a month and every time they have been extremely helpful! Josh went above and beyond to really help us with our house and even gave incredibly helpful advice! Nico was also very helpful and thorough when checking out a/c. Overall I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to have work done on your home!

All in all a great experience. Setting up an apportionment was easy, they found my septic tank and asked if I wanted to dig it to save some money, (of course I do). He came back with the truck 3 hours later and had the tank pumped in 45minutes. Made it very affordable, the office staff and the project manager Adam was great to do business with.
