Our 2 year old Whirlpool gas oven stopped igniting and I called Sewell Electric to come look. The repair guy came out and said it was tied into the electronics and most people just replace the range. He didn’t even open the oven or do any basic checks, which I found odd, so after a bit of googling, I purchased a new igniter and installed it for a total cost of $20 and probably an hour of my time. It’s frustrating that I almost went out and spent $800 on a new range when it was just a $20 part. Get a second opinion!

Came in Monday morning looking for a part for my dryer. The guy behind the counter was very rude notice he kept getting upset with me for no reason. I asked what was his problem. He said he been up all night and I told him you don't talk to customers that way. wouldn't even look my part number up that I had.apparently they change owners I have dealt with Keith in the past and been very helpful with Keith but will never shop there again.note to new owners if you want to stay in business treat your customers with respect we come to you with help a lot of us don't have knowledge on appliances

I highly recommend this company. They did both my AC work and some custom electric work. Pricing was very reasonable. I liked the fact they are locally owned. They were on time, friendly and offered some constructive and cost cutting ideas.

Sewell Electric installed a Daiken standalone unit for my sunroom. Works great and adds value to that square footage that previously lacked air. They ran electrical to the unit underneath the house and installed the unit in a way that was nonobtrusive to the room. Very professional and highly recommend.

I called Sewell to see if they had a part for an install on my oven. Even when it was clear that the part wasn’t going to be available and I wasn’t able to use them for this repair, they remained extremely helpful and took time to give me information that I needed to get some resolution. Fantastic electricians. I’m at the point where I am going to start inventing things for them to do they’re so good! Replaced 2 chandeliers, installed new light fixture outside by the grill, moved a power box, all with exceptional respect for personal property.

Sewell is the BEST. They are extremely responsive, honest and always explain exactly what needs to be done while giving you options so you feel empowered to make an educated decision. Whenever we have had HVAC issues they get there that day so we are never without heat or air conditioning, even during major heat waves!
