I had a water leak from tubing connected to the fridge ice maker. Water on the kitchen floor caused a lump in the floor, and leaked down into the basement ceiling. One section of ceiling had a substantial bulge from leaking water. Project Mgr Rob McGuire was conscientious in his responsibilities, and came by twice to check his measurements on the areas needing repair. Since my situation wasn't critical for day to day living, restoration work began 3 months after the damage event. But once it began, the very qualified workers repaired the damage on the kitchen floor, put in new vinyl plank flooring; replaced portions of the basement ceiling and repainted it, and painted the walls adjacent to the ceiling with 2 coats of latex to cover a former oil based paint. All the work was completed in three days! And it really surpassed my expectations. I am especially excited about my new vinyl kitchen floor.
Regarding the RTR staff: Rob McGuire was superb as the Point Man, supply orderer, and "pack horse" for deliveries. He also assisted me with some small tasks that this elderly woman needed help with. And he was absolutely the most polite employee I have ever worked with.
I also enjoyed chatting with my painter Will, and we shared several conversations with oatmeal cookies in hand while he was standing on his ladder painting. He was very courteous and went the extra mile in helping on a couple of small tasks.
Jay was the subcontractor who repaired my kitchen floor and laid my beautiful new vinyl floating floor. His focus and attention to detail was amazing with every piece of wood trim.
Overall, I couldn't have been more pleased with the repair work done by Rocky Top Restoration. They definitely have my five star review, and my future recommendations.

I spoke to Randy Peterson at Rocky Top Restoration regarding some water damage and mold in my home due to faulty construction of my foundation. Everyone else I had spoken to regarding this issue from my home builder, my homeowner's insurance, and other contractors and inspection companies had passed me around from department to department, nobody taking responsibility for anything. Randy did not do that. He was the only person who took responsibility, called who he needed to call, then got back to me right away regarding a time someone from his company could come out and perform the inspection; a time, furthermore, that was both immediate and fit around my family's schedule for school, work, and medical appointments. From now on, we will go directly to Rocky Top for all construction and inspection inquiries we have. Thanks, Randy!!

Sustained substantial water damage do to pipes bursting in attic while out of state. Contacted Allie who responded to evaluate damage and stated the drying out process. Allie acted decisively and earned our trust. She developed an action plan with realistic expectations. Randy was assigned as project manager. He did an awesome job always following up on subcontractors and was available when ever I had questions. I would encourage others to use their services. Reliable and honest , exceeded our expectations.

Rob who is project manager, Jacob, Will, Abram, and Nichole have all been out to work on my flooring and water damage as well as Jacob and Will installing a new water heater! The work is still in progress but so far I am so impressed with the work and the kindness and professionalism that has been shown! I highly recommend Rocky Top Restoration for your needs! They are my heroes! They have helped me navigate through this crisis!

Mark and Stacy from Rocky Top have performed multiple renovation/repair projects on my home over the past year. I have been impressed each time with the high quality of their work and how smooth and efficient the entire process has been. I can’t say enough good things about Matt and his crew at Rocky Top Restoration. We were out of town for a while and had roof damage during the recent storms. We contacted Matt and his crew came out to tarp the roof over the weekend before it snows. This is one of many times they have gone above and beyond the call of duty to help us. Outstanding in every way… quality work, cleanliness, punctual, excellent materials used, excellent craftsmanship, new what they were doing, treated my property like it was their own, made sure I was well pleased and in today’s age it is very hard to write sure pleasantries unless they are well deserved. All within a very reasonable budget.
I had gotten numerous quotes over a span of 3 years and tried one repair man and had bad results. Received numerous too high quotes from people who were inept.
But Rocky Top Restorations was referred to me by a friend and Mike Hawkins came out. He listened patiently to all the work I wanted done. He carefully examined the damages from wood rot. He agreed with my assessments and made perfect recommendations. The end results, Mike got his team of Kevin, Trevor, Mark and Stacy on the job and they took it from there. Replacing wood rot at the base of 3 large columns on the front porch and replaced wood and trim on rear deck due to water damage and reroofed.The rear damage was more excessive than originally revealed. Mike made reasonable adjustments for the extra damage and completely restored my damaged house much better and perfect.
I believe God makes a way and I hope this review helps someone who truly want top quality repair done right at reasonable costs.

This is the 2nd time I've used Rocky Top, and I am always 110% satisfied!
A large leak in water heater line caused walls and flooring in utility room to become soaked, and required replacement. RTR responded immediately. I had them rip out the old 1960 joists and replace both floor and ceiling. Electrical also required some work.They literally had to rebuild from scratch. Every worker was well qualified for the work they performed, and did an excellent job. All were personable, non intrusive, and polite. Project Manager, Allie Newman, was very focused with attention to detail. They were able to accommodate my timeline needs, which I very much appreciated!
Having owned and remodeled several homes over the years, I can honestly say, this is the best company I have employed. I will not hesitate to call on them for my next project. Thanks so much Allie, Jacob, and all the crew; love my new utility room!

We are extremely pleased with Rocky Top’s work so far. Our house was hit by the tornado on August 7th. Once we connected with Rocky Top, they took care of storing our furniture, drying out the house from further rain damage that loose tarps had let in, and re roofing in just a matter of days. Our house has a long way to go for it’s restoration but we are confident we are in good hands with Rocky Top and our project manage Jacob Chauvin. And all the trades men that have been there have be absolute wonderful to work with.
