Hired to install light fixtures two of which were in a laundry room with drop ceiling. They installed the lights to the drop ceiling tiles and not the ceiling and when questioned was told it was against code to install above the drop ceiling. I pushed back on that, sounds ridiculous but was told he would come back and reinstall. When he came out he started in on how they told me this that and the other thing and this is where I’m done wasting my time with a person who double talks. My recommendation is to find another company that communicates clearly and is honest.

I used Top Tier Electrical to change out 5 existing outdoor lamps and an indoor Ceiling fan all of which were very old and in need of replacement. The work was done expertly and in a timely fashion. I found the technicians knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. Their pricing tends to run a bit less than comparable electrical services as well. A very minor problem arose and my wife texted a message to Top Tier on a Sunday. The owner responded immediately and was here within 2 hours to rectify the problem. I believe this shows a true dedication to service. I personally recommend Top Tier for your electrical needs.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience. They were professional, and the work was completed much sooner than estimated. Quality work at a fair price, the way it should be. There’s no greater peace of mind than knowing this old house is now a safe place for my kids. I would definitely use them again if need be and have already referred my loved ones. It’s never an enjoyable thing to have to have work done on your house, but Top Tier made this an all around great experience.

The guys at Top Tier know their stuff and took care of some major electrical issues in our house caused by incorrect wiring done in the past. They came in the evening to look at it and returned the next morning when it turned out to be bigger than we thought.
The price was fair and their work was good. I would call them again if I need to and recommend them to friends if they needed electrical help. Five stars!

David responded to our inquiry the same day we called and answered all of our questions (including those about future electrical projects). He and his team (Larry & Reese) were excellent - On time, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was cleaned up and taken care of to our satisfaction before they left. They worked together as a team and completed the job in less time than we expected. Top Tier provides quality work at a price that won't break the bank. We are in the process of updating the light fixtures/outlets in our house and will definitely be calling David and his team when we are ready for our next project. Top Tier Electric LLC was very responsive when we called for an estimate & coming for the work we agreed to. They came on time and put in can light’s & chandelier installation and did a top notch job. They were very nice and kept us informed and made sure this is where we wanted them before they did the work. Cleaned up everything and put everything back the way it was. You can't ask for much more that excellent service, but sometimes you get more anyway. David answered his phone (like really talked to me) when I called the first time. He gave me an estimate of time and price over the phone and scheduled a time to come fix my issue. He called me before time to let me know that he might be later than expected, but instead of putting me off, he came by right then since he was close by. The understanding was that if he couldn't fix it in a few minutes, he would come back the next day which worked better for me. He LISTENED to my explanation of the problem and quickly determined what was wrong a fixed it within 5 minutes...and now, I'm able to write this review before the originally scheduled appointment time. Like I said, there's excellent service, and then there is superior service. I've found my electrician in Knoxville!!

Great service! I've used them multiple times and always satisfied.

David installed a car charger in the garage for my newly purchased electric vehicle. Did the work very quickly without cutting corners. Came out looking and working great. I then scheduled David to come back out to hook up my backup generator to the house via an interlock kit. Works great! He really wants to finish each job same day and will stay until it's done and done right. Great electrician. Highly recommend.

I called Top Tier based on a positive recommendation and I am so glad that I listened. David made it over in just a few hours after I called. He helped me trouble shoot what I thought would be a simple issue. It turned out that it was not just a bad GFCI, but a much larger issue. He communicated efficiently and it wasn't hard to notice that he really knows what he is doing. There were plenty of complicated issues in my house, but he worked through them and I am thankful.
