It is unfortunate that I have to make a derogatory comment on TruGreen Service after reading all the stellar feedback comments. I wish that was the case with me I would be so lucky. I had TruGreen back when I lived in Bartlett Tennessee, and they were nothing but stellar. I went to hire them For this season in Jackson and it was the biggest mistake I have ever encountered with a lawn company . I will not go into details on the first experience, but the second one that just occurred. Today was nothing less than unsatisfactory to say the least. My wife was home and the technician never came to the door like they’re supposed to do, he started on the front lawn with the application and started immediately cutting corners as my wife looked on. He noticed her and corrected his actions. He also cut corners and didn’t even go in my backyard as evident by the white flag that is supposed to be left in the yard, indicating to the homeowner that the lawn has been treated. It gets better when calling 20 some odd-year-old technicians who think they know what they’re doing, but they don’t and they start to argue with the customer and refuse to transfer to a supervisor that’s when I decided to end it AND TERMINATE THE SERVICE WITH TRUGREEN AS WELL AS SPREAD THE WORD ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND MAKE AN ENTRY TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU DO NOT GO WITH TRUGREEN IN JACKSON, TENNESSEE. IT’LL BE A NIGHTMARE BEYOND BELIEF.

I have been a TruGreen customer for about a year and half. After some challenges my yard is almost weed free. If you have issues TruGreen will work with you to find a solution.

I was skeptical at first about wether spraying around my home and the grounds would eliminate my problems with insects in my home , but after two treatments the insects have ceased to be present in my home. I am very please with my decision to use TruGreen . This is a top notch company. I recommend them to anyone that needs help with their lawn and property

Trugreen is a great company. James Gibson is an great service technician. He is very knowledgeable and talks to you so that you understand and explains what you need to do between service visits. Make sure you ask for James Gibson to be your service technician.

Quinton did my grub treatment today. He knocked on my door to make me aware. This has never been done before. Quinton was polite, attentive and very knowledgeable about the service. Great customer service experience!

Four years ago we bought a house where the lawn and shrubs had been neglected for as many as 28 years. We had about 1/2 acre of growth removed across the back lot line. That soil as well and entire lawn needed nourishment and removal of invaders. Thanks to a wonderful TruGreen supervisor we transfered our plan with them to this new location. Despite hot and DRY that year, progress was made. All shrubbery was replaced and TruGreen plans for lawn, shrubbery and insects made healthy living. I made a terrible mistake by switching to a lower cost company last year thinking thei 18 years of success with others would maintain what TG had developed. I was wrong. During last year, our lawn was invaded with NutSedge and other grasses which could not be controlled except when I returned this season to Tru Green. Thanks for your wisdom, service, personal reference in Alan Johnson. The shrubbery is much more healthy now I have a verbal agreement that he must remind me lest I forget how valuable they are to this recovering lot.

This company is so inconsistent… i have been with them for 5 years and have called every year because i have people showing up unannounced (which i am supposed to get a text the day before) only to say i wasn’t home (which means no! I’m working) and to reschedule the treatment. Then it works for a while only to be dropped again and go through the same scenario . March’s treatment did not notify me AGAIN and i was at the store. Called them back only to find out their call center is in the Philippines and the girl i spoke with was not understandable. After many repeated statements on her part, i told her that they were supposed to text before coming out with a map of where my rep was located and she changed my service to email notifications! Received a call from a representative when i sent in a bad review on their app and found out i was changed to email. Got that straightened out only to call last week about the March treatment (14 days before) obviously wasn’t done adequately because i have tons of weeds coming up on the right side of my yard and needed a retreatment. Assured me they would be out next day to retreat…waited all day and called about 3 pm to see if they were going to show up. Answer was no, you are getting retreatment next week. I canceled my subscription because i spend more time on the phone getting misinformation and the run around. No thank you! Done with you. I stayed with you for 5 years with everyone’s assurance that it was a simple mistake. So you can not say i didn’t give you a chance. Every time i call now, i get someone in the Philippines which is hard to understand and they do not do what i asked. Found out today when i got notification of a treatment tomorrow that my plan was not adequately cancelled last week and the treatment was still on for tomorrow. 🤦‍♀️ Going with a local company that has their call centers locally . And if i have an issue, i know they are close by.

I appreciate the fact that TruGreen sends text messages letting you know when the service technician will be at your address to perform a service. Along with that, customers are also able to track the arrival time of the technician in real time.. Customers are also notified via text if the service will not be performed on the date previously given.

I am so happy to say thank you for a well done job. My lawn is much prettier and fuller. I will recommend TruGreen every year!!

Mr. Quintin is an awesome,mannerable and respectful young man. He explains and excepts criticism in a very honorable fashion. I will recommend this young man to any of my friends. Thanks to you Mr. Quentin for another job well done.

Isaiah G. Is amazing at taking care of my lawn. He truly cares about his customers needs and has a great attitude. My yard is the envy of the neighborhood and people always ask who is my lawn care service, I tell them Isaiah with TruGreen. I HAVE NO WEEDS IN MY YARD thanks to Iasiah. All I ask is please don’t take him away from servicing my yard, he is the best. Thank you TruGreen!!

They thoroughly treated my lawn and azaleas. Prompt, courteous service.

Adam was very friendly and trustworthy. He did an amazing job and treated my lawn with care. He came to door and explained the process today. He is my choice representative.

They spray for mosquitoes at my house in the country on a lake. I'm aware they cant spray by the lake itself and cant get rid of 100% of the mosquitoes but they do a good job controlling them. If the mosquito problem is worse than we we feel it should be between scheduled sprays, they will come back and spray again for no charge ( which they have done a couple times).
Also the technicians that have sprayed are very courteous. We will definitely use them again next year.

Service Tech Korey Buntyn did an excellent job with coverage of the property. Taking time so as not omit any areas. Spoke about watering, in absence of rain and the expected results in response to treatment.

Would give 0 stars to trugeen if possible. It is a matter of time before someone makes the news for causing violence to someone regarding their fraudulent business. My lawn looks so much worse 15 months after signing up for their scam. Pictures show self-cared neighbors lawn compared to mine. Pictures do it no justice as well, its become a complete weed garden. $700 down the drain. DO NOT give these lowlifes your business. They dont answer phone calls unless you are trying to sign up for service and when you get transferred they never call you back in the 24-48 hour time period as they tell you. In the hundreds of businesses that have got my money. Trugreen takes the icing as the worst business ive ever encountered.

Very satisfied with the services by Rodrigo Rocha service technician. I would prefer that he perform my lawn care. I also need treatments for the awful “crab grass/Dallas grass that is in my yard with your round-up treatment. Thank you.

My Technician was AwaisQ he was very knowledgeable and patient in explaining the problems I’m having with all my Trees and shrubs. I have the white mics, black bugs which suck the sap out the Crete myrtles. The lemon lime bushes and Abvorvitae shrubs are not getting enough iron. He injected pesticides in root base. He stated it is a slow release product but would last longer than the spray. He told me to water all of them this evening. I really appreciate his patience and kindness. I would like to request AwaisQ would be my technician all the time. He deserves an 11 he went above and beyond the other technicians.
