Wow! Every company needs to strive for the level of service, competence and expertise that Ryan Foster brings to the table. We have a complex plumbing issue involving clay and cast iron pipes that are very deep and under structures. Several solutions have been proposed by various companies. Ryan’s assessment was thorough and his solution definitive. I feel confident with his proposal and plan. I wasn’t getting that from other companies…their solutions didn’t seem the best route. Thank you so very much for coming out today and providing your expertise on this situation. You have given us by far the best plan. I know all of the proposals are complex and expensive, but I’m certain that yours will work best for a definitive solution. I’m so glad I called! We will be in touch!!!

I recently had an excellent experience with Memphis and Water LLC, and I wanted to share my thoughts. I needed leak detection services and decided to call them based on the positive reviews I had read. When I spoke with Bo, he was courteous and explained that they didn't typically offer the service I needed. However, he offered to come by later that day to take a look after finishing their current job.

When they arrived, I met Ryan, who is the master plumber, and they explained that they have new equipment that could detect leaks. They asked if I would like them to try it out, and I agreed. Within 15 minutes, Ryan had found the leak. Thankfully, it wasn't from my main water line, but one of the irrigation lines. Although they didn't provide irrigation services, they recommended someone who could help.

Overall, Bo and Ryan were honest, knowledgeable, and courteous, and I would highly recommend them. They went above and beyond to help me, and I would definitely call them first if I ever need their services again.

A good experience all around. They were my third quote for a sewer line replacement for my basement and were the most affordable option by over half the amount of the other quotes. Responsive, quick, and was able to work with my households' schedules. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The work was completed 2 days after approving the quote and paying the deposit. 10/10 would work with again for any future plumbing needs.

Edit 6/12/25: Reached out by email to ask about tying our sump pump into our main sewer line instead of having a pipe going down our driveway and was told that it could be done. I asked about pricing and it's been two weeks and I haven't gotten answer.

We called on Memphis Sewer and Water when we discovered our sewer drain had collapsed. They gave us an extremely reasonable quote and had us on the schedule quickly, working around troublesome weather. They finished the full replacement in short order. All throughout, Ryan and Bo and the whole team communicated clearly and responded promptly.

I had originally insisted that they not break/remove the sidewalk, which they honored. However, a couple weeks later, after heavy rains, the sidewalk buckled from lack of dirt packed underneath. Ryan sent his team back to collect the broken sidewalk slabs and resmooth/repack the dirt in our yard. We could not be happier with their high quality work.

I am very pleased with this company; they came to my call of duty. I was purchasing a home and needed a scope inspection to be completed to ensure my house was ready for move-in. Mr. Ryan was very patient, walked me through the video, and explained everything about the inspection. If you are looking for someone who will take care of business. This company is right for you. Ryan and his team were wonderful. They gave a bid (thousands less than others), and scheduled the work in 4 days. In 2 days they made our sewer system functional, and completed all work in one day. We had a total sewer replacement --our system was clay.

I discovered Memphis Sewer & Water while on my daily walk in my neighborhood. I stopped to watch as they seemed to be accomplishing an insurmountable job. The team worked so well together, efficient and organized. When I returned 2 days later the work was finished and cleaned up, leaving only a smooth surface ready to be repaved.
I never dreamed I would be calling them one week later to replace my sewer line. Ryan’s response was immediate. He patiently explained what needed to be done and laid out all the pros and cons. His team excavated a 10’ deep trench across my yard, replaced my sewer line, and backfilled the huge hole in one day. It passed code without difficulty.
Ryan made it so hassle free, a dreaded situation was over and well completed in no time. Contracting with MS&W was worth every penny!

I called Memphis Sewer and Water for an estimate, and they answered the phone while they were out to lunch. I was told someone would come by that day, right after lunch, to give me an estimate. Bo came by and worked in the rain to find the problem in the yard - roots destroyed the old terracotta sewer line, and a bad repair in the middle of the yard needed replacing. Everything they would do was explained to me clearly, Bo told me the estimate, and at my request (to file with home insurance) I was sent an estimate later that day by email. My home insurance called Memphis Sewer and Water when determining whether to accept my claim, and my claim was accepted the next day. Once I accepted the estimate through an online link, Bo gave me a call and scheduled the repair for the next morning! The crew arrived at 7:30am as they said they would, and had everything done and the trench filled by 2:30pm. I also love that their work has a 10 year warranty. Everyone was courteous and professional and I would highly recommend Memphis Sewer and Water!

I am so happy that a friend recommended this company when my sewer line clogged. Ryan and his team responded promptly and even came out during bad weather to scope the drain. They were able to repair the sewer line and water lines for thousands less than other estimates. Most importantly, they were prompt, professional and there were no surprises. I highly recommend them!

They were a big help, after being without power for 8 days from ice storm, the electric truck broke the main water line. I called Ryan early monday morning and they were there that afternoon and repaired the pipe and had water back on in a couple hours. I have used this company on several occasions for a commercial property , they always come thru with flying colors, although the nature of the work was demand hefty price tags they would beat the other quotes and provide a little extra service for the money. I recently had to call them for a problem at my home the work was done quickly. Again satisfied with the work. I normally don’t do survey or reviews but when you get service like this it’s a must. We had a sewer blockage in our yard. There is nothing more frustrating than draining an upstairs bath tub and seeing it flow out of a downstairs toilet. I wore blisters on my palm trying to get the toilet to drain with a plunger. Smith Plumbing diagnosed and located the blockage 10 feet deep in our front yard. Their excavators could not dig that deep. They recommended Ryan Foster at Memphis Sewer and Water. Ryan came out and said they could fix it the next day. He knew the way the sewers were ran in Cordova and fixed it the next day. I was expecting to pay $$$$ and was charged $$. These guys are honest, hard working and affordable. I hope I never need them again, but if I do I’m calling them.

We had a leak in the front yard and Ryan came within 30 min to check it out. Come to find out, I started draining our pool earlier in the day, and the water was going through an old French drain we didn’t know we had. It had been covered up over time and fed into the opposite side of our front yard! What a happy surprise to find out we didn’t have a leak! Ryan was fast and personable and I will definitely be calling if we ever have future issues.

I can't say enough about Memphis Sewer and Water. After dealing with another company trying to get a job done for 4+ months at a rental property, I decided to look for another company. I'm so glad I did!!! I called these guys on a Thursday, and they met me at my property within an hour. Not only did they meet me within an hour after calling them...they ran a camera, identified the problem, gave me a reasonably priced estimate and fixed the problem the following Monday. They replaced the broken portion of the main sewer line and added a cleanout while they were at it.

Since the above situation which happened approx. a month ago, I had another main sewer line issue at a different rental property. I didn't hesitate to call Memphis Sewer and Water again. Once again, they were prompt and got to my property the very next day to evaluate the problem. They replaced a portion of the main sewer line the very next week. Memphis Sewer & Water were incredibly professional and worked as fast as they could under terrible weather conditions! They came to check on my sewer back up the day I called them, and got started on replacing my entire sewer line right away. I 100% recommend them to anyone who needs sewer or water lines checked out or replaced.
