We were due to replace our HVAC system in the next few years and we direly needed some maintenance on our duct work. Choates got us a great deal and we pulled the trigger.
Very professional service. The new ductwork looks fantastic and my attic went from cramped to a huge open space.
They accidentally damaged a wall and a contractor was there the next day to patch it up.
I have zero complaints.

The technician who came out was rude, and he kept pushing their service plan after I said I wasn't interested. I was looking to address an acute problem, not get a hard sell. He did determine the problem, but the repair they proposed was incredibly expensive and overly complex, introducing an entire line of potential breakdown points that would've been costly and difficult to repair. I consulted two other plumbers who agreed that a simpler solution was available. Another plumber repaired the problem for much less money and with a repair that wouldn't involve tracing potential future issues through 30' of pipe installed between my walls. I'm so glad I had the sense to get another opinion.

Choate’s is great. We’ve had the FamPlan for a couple of years. Worth it. If they send Leungeluo Robbins as your tech, you’re in good hands. Nice guy.

Terry was awesome! He was helpful and courteous. I had to have electronic leak detection. He explained the process and why it was needed. He also offered other services that Choates provides. I appreciate the great service!

Christopher with Choates was prompt in replying to our need. He kept us informed on what what happening and what next steps would be for the repair. While he was not the person involved in the repair, he came by to check on the progress and ensure everything was going as expected.

Dianna Boyland from Choate's Air Conditioning, Heating, Plumbing & Electrical completed our fall heating and plumbing preventative maintenance inspection this past week. Last spring, Dianna also performed our annual AC checks. On each occasion, Dianna was incredible: professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. After the checks were completed, she clearly communicated all inspection details (with pictures) and made suggesting for additional services I might want to consider. No sales pressure - just recommendations. These annual checks, by the way, are part of our family plan which we've had for almost two decades. Service from technicians like Dianna and other Choate's team members I've met over the years are why I am presently and plan to remain a Choate's customer. Thank you Dianna and Choate's!

Nathan was great! On time, very professional and went through my electrical diagnostic with great detail. He explained all my options very thoroughly. Choates is always great and Nathan was a pleasure to deal with.

They showed up inspite of the driving conditions. Very friendly and cordial. Explained things well...finished in a very timely manner. They even removed ice from the sidewalk in the interested of customer safety. Great service and great people.

Was out of town in Massachusetts at the time of my water leak in my front lawn. Made an appointment online with Choates. Tucker arrived spent a few hours attempting to find the leak finally is associate. Justin showed up with a camera, and they were able to find the source of the problem. They did a wonderful job taking the yard and into consideration and the fact that I was 1500 miles away. My only issue is I wish the prices were better. 😀

Nathan Henderson did electrical work for us and I feel he is very trustworthy, efficient and good at explaining his services. He has also done work at my son’s home and he experienced the same quality service. Highly recommend Nathan for electrical needs!

Jerrell was awesome. He contacted me precisely 30 minutes before the expected service visit. He arrived literally 30 minutes at my home. Our was inoperable which meant no heat. A massive cold front was expected in day or two. He quickly diagnosed the problem. I mentioned we had recent problem with blown fuses. He figured out which switch was the cause without the benefit of a fuse box labels on the switches or a readable table of contents so to speak. He charged us the minimum and further, he noticed the filter was filthy. I asked if he could change it. He did for the replacement cost of the filter.. You Da Man Jerrell.

Terek was very pleasant upon arrival, went immediately to work with the inspection. He gave an update on his findings and then got to work on correcting the found problems. Would definitely recommend his and Choate‘s Service to anyone

Tucker was immensely helpful and thoughtful. Came up with multiple solutions for our estimate and had wonderful advice for other aspects of our kitchen remodel outside of his plumbing skills. Would highly recommend Tucker.

I called Choate this morning about 7:30 and Tucker the Tex was at my door at 12:15 and had fixed my clogged drain in about 30 min. He was very professional and provided me with information about there preferred customer plan which I will consider. I will definitely use Choate in the future and request Tucker

Service technician Jaden was great. Even though the streets are nearly impassable, Jaden showed up in a very reasonable time. He diagnosed the problem thoroughly, eliminating any unnecessary repairs.
I would recommend Jaden to anyone needing HVAC service or repair.
Pricing was higher than expected considering that I found the same parts online at a fraction of the costs.

The team from Choates did a great job diagnosing and repairing the issue with my hot water tank. Both Gabriel and Tucker are courteous and top notch professionals. I would recommend for any HVAC, electrical, or plumbing needs.

THEY DID NOT COMPARE. IF THERE IS ONE THING I WANT TO BE IS LIVING IN COMFORT AT HOME WITH EFFICIENCY and LOW PRICED UTILITY BILLS. MY FIRST CALL TO CHOATE'S THEY SENT ME AN ENERGY CONSULTANT WHO STAYED AT MY HOME ALL DAY ANALYZING WHAT WOULD IMPROVE THE INEFFICIENCY PROBLEM THAT I WAS HAVING. THAT WAS A JACKPOT FOR ME. I WAS NOT AWARE OF COMPANIIES PROVIDING THIS SERVICE. I immediately called them to tell them that this person was not who I requested. I need a HVAC TECH. LONG STORY SHORT IT WAS THE BEST THING THAT COULD HAVE EVER HAPPENED TO ME. EXPENSIVE OOH WEE. I will not state which plan I decided on but If my memory is correct and it depended on which one I chose out of three packages. I HAVE NO REGRETS. ONE THING THAT I WILL SAY IS I GOT WHAT I PAID FOR AND AS OF MARCH 2026 APPROX. THREE AND A HALF YEARS LATER WILL BE PAID IN FULL WITH NO REPAIRS NEEDED UNTIL TODAY 1/16/26 on water heater so far I have had no HVAC REPAIRS. I CERTAINLY FEEL LIKE I GOT WHAT I PAID FOR EFFICIENCY AND COMFORT.

The admin side and their complete lack of communication get one star. Might want to remove the word “immediate” from your auto text. Nobody ever replied at all, never mind in a timely fashion.

I called 3 times over 3 days to figure out when a part may, or may not, be in stock and eventually installed.
