From the beginning of my search for high quality roof work, I dreaded the numerous estimates and salesmen that I would be forced to endure. Fortunately, early in the process I called Don Kennedy. Ethan was personable, informative, knowledgeable and honest. He made my wife and I feel comfortable trusting our home to his team. They were actually able to start the roof install a day early and cleaned up so well, that you would have never known they were even there. If you are looking for cheap roof replacement then maybe these aren't your guys, but if you want great people, doing great work then give Don Kennedy a call.

We got our roof replaced several years ago but never had the gutters replaced so we decided to get new gutters and gutter guards through Don Kennedy. The crew came early on weekday morning, and installed the gutters and guards for us within a few hours. They were very professional, and did a fantastic job - there is reason that Don Kennedy is known for being the best in Middle Tennessee.

They installed Alu Rex (Double Pro) Gutter Guards for us, and we are so excited that we no longer have to clean our gutters every season anymore! Don Kennedy continues to be the most reputable roofing business around, and we are so thrilled with the results! Thanks DK!

We had an issue with our stove exhaust vent that was installed along with our new roof so we called Don Kennedy roofing to let them know and within days they had one of their techs Robert Phillips come out and install the right vent that solved the problem. Robert did a fast efficient job and very courteous. Highly recommend Don Kennedy roofing!

Jake came out to give an estimate. Going over his time frame to make sure we understood everything we needed to know about this project on our home. He was fantastic and knowledgeable. I knew choosing Don Kennedy Roofing for my new roof was definitely the way to go without a doubt in my mind.

I made an appointment about two weeks ago for a roof inspection after the big storm. They waited until 16 minutes before they were supposed to be at my house to cancel the appointment and couldn’t reschedule for another couple weeks. They are extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate of my time. When I called they let me know that “this happens sometimes” 😳 it happens that you CANCEL (not arrive late, not reschedule) in this manor and you still have customers????
So Don Kennedy, feel free to respond. That way every potential customer can see in writing that you think this is acceptable way to conduct business in your company.

ETA: They offered to reschedule for 2 weeks out, not the next day. If they had offered to come out the next day, I wouldn’t have contacted another roofer.

My experience with Don Kennedy Roofing began when Ethan Burke did an inspection of our roof after we had a water leak in our ceiling after a hard rain. He did an excellent job showing and explaining the problems that caused the leak after a thorough inspection. He took all the time I needed to understand what the problem was and what would be needed to fix that problem. He then pointed out some other issues that could be a future problem. He also made sure we had a good idea of what needed to be done now and what could be done in a second step later.
After we agreed the technicians who came out to fix the problem were polite and considerate. They took the time to explain what they were going to do and got their work done in a timely manner. When the repair was done they let me know and they had cleaned up all debris in the areas where they worked.
I would highly recommend Don Kennedy Roofing for roof repairs or a new roof if needed.

Don Kennedy replaced our roof several years ago and did an incredible job - we finally felt safe in our home. Fast forward to 11/2025 and they came out to inspect our roof for any damage after a hail storm. Because of the quality of their roof products and installation, there was absolutely no damage. Shane came out with his drone for the inspection and it was in perfect condition. We will only trust our roof to Don Kennedy Roofing.

Wow - Where to start .. We called Don Kennedy to schedule an estimate for some roof repairs on our home .. They scheduled an inspector to take a look at our concerns .. What a blessing it was to have Ethan come out to do our inspection !! Being thorough is an understatement !!
When you think of integrity and character - Ethan embodies those rare qualities .. It was such a breath of fresh air to have a company and an inspector that truly cares about the homeowner and the quality of repair !! It isn't often you connect with someone who strives to give the customer the best options to meet their needs .. without pushing just the job ..

As we have twice before, we chose your company. In fact 30 years or so ago, Don actually took my order. Shane represented the company well. He described what we needed and any extras that he would suggest. We went with all the extras, hoping this roof will outlast me. And Derrick was a great Project Manager, clearly explaining things, etc. Everyone we dealt with was super.

No complaint, but the previous times when you folks did the house roof, you used the leftover shingles on my shed, next to my deck. I told Derrick about that, and he said it wasn't in the order, so couldn't do it. It never has been in the order, you guys have just done it. It's just a small shed. This IS NOT a complaint, though, as I would give the highest marks to Derrick, both as a manager and simply as a great human being.
If I indeed need any other work on roof or if anyone asks, I'll recommend they just stop their search with you folks.
It's expensive, but the quality of people is superb,

My home's builder used the roof of our screened back porch as a landing for a ladder to finish above the porch leaving small holes in several shingles. In addition, the flashing around a roof area and the fireplace chimney had been installed incorrectly. Don Kennedy roofing inspector (several years experience) advised us of the work to correct the roof and flashing. The workers did a great job.

Excellent and prompt service. The installation team was very efficient and left no debris. You couldn’t even tell they were here— other than the beautiful new roof! Very pleased with Don Kennedy.

Jose Martinez did a beautiful job installing the copper flashing between our new roof and old chimney. He also carefully described to me what was done and answered all my questions. Great work!

While waiting to get my roof fully repaired just like so many people in Nashville after the recent ice storm, Nathanael and Jose came in clutch to get me the right estimate and temporary repair. They made sure that even if it rained I’d be safe.

The team working on my home, headed up by Pablo Echeverria, had a great attitude, workmanship far beyond my expectations, and were a pleasure to work with. Love my new roof.

Where do I begin. I could type all day about the gutter install crew and how they treated this simple install. If I remember correctly - it took almost 8 trips to complete this project.

My wife and I didn't choose Don Kennedy because of the cost but the reputation. It seems since they have been purchased, the quality of work has diminished.

An internal review of the crew needs to be addressed because without customers there is no Don Kennedy Gutter install Team.

The roof we had installed - grade A+ on the crew. They stayed till it was complete, cleaned up after themselves and came back the next to double check everything...Spectacular!!!!

My point of contact / Project Mgr Derrick Brown did an absolute wonderful job in communicating everything and was hearing my concerns when issues came about.

We received 3 quotes on GAF Material and all 3 were in line. The biggest decision was reputation and in house crews - no sub contractors per-say.

Sidenote : Clients never want to hear about internal problems within the company....Do the project correctly, no call backs and get paid. SIMPLE...take pride in your work as if it was your own house.

Project is complete as of today and Im ready to MOVE ON !!!

We are VERY pleased with the Don Kennedy company. Their estimate was not the least expensive way to replace the roof, but their work and product are first class. They just installed the copper chimney cap this morning. I told the installer it almost looks like a work of art.

Coupled with the quality of new roof and the overall experience with the company, plus the roof comes with a 25-year transferable guarantee, I give them an A plus reference/review.

Noticed a leak just before Thanksgiving. Called Don Kennedy for a quote to get the leak fixed. A technician (Nathanael) was out the next day and we discovered the company that roofed my house 15 years ago did a terrible job (no flashing around some vents, no underlay in parts). Bottom line: fix just this problem and gamble that the rest of the roof was okay, or replace the entire roof correctly with Don Kennedy. I went with Don Kennedy. The crew was amazing! They let me know what they were doing, they cleaned all the nails up (went over the yard and drive way more than twice with magnets), and the roof looks great. The foreman (Wesley) was out multiple times to discuss the work with me and to check the progress. Also had new gutters put on by DK as those were not installed correctly either. Same thing -- crew was great and the foreman was out to check progress multiple times. Financing was easy and I have piece of mind that the job was done correctly and if anything goes wrong, I can call Don Kennedy and they will fix it for me. Could not be happier with this decision.

As a small business owner myself for 20+ years I truly appreciate a business as professional as Don Kennedy Roofing. They did everything they were contracted to do, in a timely manner and delivered quality service. I got several quotes from other roofing companies for my commercial building (several did not even bother to contact me back to give me a quote). Don Kennedy Roofing was upfront in their assessment of my roof and reasonable in their quote. I would strongly suggest this company to anyone looking for roofing replacement or repairs. Don Kennedy I know you are proud of your business it shows in the work.
