We recently purchased a Legacy South home, and we love it! Cannot say enough great things about working with Chris and Brandon! Love the home, love the customer service and attention! Awesome Crew, and amazing construction!

The team at Legacy South is the most professional team we've worked with and their customer support is unbeatable. The quality of the build, appliances, and design are some of the nicest we've seen in Nashville. Highly recommend.

I have worked with Suzanne Comerford on multiple projects and her designs are always creative and thoughtful! From the lighting to the trim details every decision is made with careful consideration and it shows in the end product! Legacy South's homes always stand out in the market and its such a pleasure working with them.

The team at Legacy South genuinely cares about making your house a home. They are responsive, professional, and are building outstanding communities throughout Nashville and the Middle Tennessee area. Home designs are both modern and timeless, and I highly recommend looking into their homes if you are in the market.

They have the most unique color scheme I have ever seen on a home. They are absolutely stunning I have never seen these colors with any other company. Very eye catching and stunning you will be the talk of the town with one of these homes (in a good way of course). Along with very helpful and fantastic customer service. If you are in the market for a stunning one of a kind home look no further. Please give them a call you will be very pleased that you did.

I am on a local lending team and have been extremely impressed with Laura Sistrunk and the entire Legacy South team. Laura is informative and responsive. Her excitement and energy are key components to a happy home buying experience. She does a great job of making the process fun and streamlined. Thank you for everything, Laura!

Legacy South exceeded our expectations by far! We bought a new build and couldn’t have imagined a smoother experience. They were always so responsive and thorough. Not only that, but during our one year warranty, they fixed absolutely everything we requested. I love seeing the beautiful homes they continue to build and would love to work with them again in the future! Can’t recommend them more!!!

I purchased new construction on Edwin Street from Legacy South that has cost me thousands of dollars in repairs, the worst of which being a leak in my roof due to their faulty construction / pipe installation. I paid a roofing company to assess and repair the damage to address their shoddy construction which resulted in 3 unsuccessful visits - water still seeps through the roof / pipes into the drywall EVERY time it rains. I now need to rip the drywall out of the ceiling in my bathroom in order for this to be fixed once and for all. (An outline of the roofing company's efforts included below).
I dread seeing rain in the forecast, wondering how much mold is acquiring, and in Nashville, it rains a lot.
Luckily, Tennessee has a law that protects homeowners from faulty construction.
I won’t even go into how every time I shower, the steam trips a breaker which leads to a loss of power meaning - I have to take cold showers to ensure I can properly prepare for work. It's awful, all of it.
TLDR: Living in a home constructed by Legacy South has been a nightmare of wasted of time and money - if only they built quality homes, with quality materials, and skilled labor...
Also, this isn't just happening to me but many of my neighbors as well.
Buyer beware.
2/20/24 - On this day we inspected the leak under the ridge of the main portion of the house. We noticed that the ridge was flat so we removed the ridge cap and ridge vent. We found felt in this location that was concaved due to the large gap between the front and rear slopes of the roof. This felt had water stains on it which shows us that water was pooling over this area. The water could potentially run back to the opening of the ridge vent and enter into the attic. We removed the shingles and built up the ridge to create proper run off and then installed new ridge cap shingles.
3/13/24 - We were then contacted again and came back to inspect because the leak appeared again. At this time we removed all the shingles of the main ridge and installed a piece of metal over the ridge to cap off the entire opening between the front and rear slopes. We installed a rubber modified bitumen over the top of this metal and then installed shingles over it. This created a similar look to the existing roof but removed all the ventilation for this section so we installed four box vents on the rear slope of the home.
(This is when I called a painting company to have the interior damage patched, sanded and repainted)
9/11/24 - We were then informed that a leak had come back. We then went into the attic and found a plumbing exhaust pipe above the leak. We replaced both pipe boots and installed ice and water shield around each opening. We could not get over to the pipe because of the shallow attic space and informed you that the elbow of the pipe could also be an issue if it wasn't properly sealed correctly. We discussed the situation and determined that if the leak continued, you would need to cut the drywall to give us an opportunity to look at this area during a rainstorm to confirm if it is in fact leaking from the shingles or the pipe. If it is leaking from the shingles, we may have a situation where a nail is exposed somewhere that we did not see, or driving rain is getting under the shingles each time you get a heavy rain. We installed curved (gooseneck) adapters onto the pvc pipes above the roof line to make sure that water could not get into the pipe. -
We had a wonderful experience working with Brandon Bubis at Legacy South in finding our new home in Nashville. Brandon was tremendously helpful in answering all of our questions and getting us acclimated to TN. Once under contract, we began working more closely with Chris Harvey, our Legacy South builder. Chris has been truly committed to ensuring everything has gone smoothly in our first few weeks. He has been such a great resource and takes a ton of pride in his work. We’re lucky to be living in one of his builds.

I had the pleasure of working alongside Laura on a new construction townhome purchase this spring!
As the buyer’s agent in this type of transaction, its easy to feel out of control and out of the loop, but that wasn’t the case at all with Laura. From contract to close, she oversaw the entire process, keeping both my client and myself in the loop along the way.
Thank you, Laura, for your stellar communication, collaborative approach, and great attitude. It was a truly enjoyable and smooth experience & I look forward to the next time we work together! -
We decided to build a home with Legacy South in their Edwin Greens community. Since we went under contract before they had broken ground, we were able to work with them to customize our tile, fixtures, feature walls, etc. They were very accommodating with our requests even though it wasn't technically a custom build. We are very happy with the quality of the house, especially when looking at some of the new builds going up around our community that look/feel cheap (even though they are more expensive). We would definitely work with them again if we were to build another home.

The homes that Legacy South builds are beautiful and full of character, and we have loved partnering with them to stage a number of their homes over the last year. Their team is a delight to work with - responsive, kind and so good at what they do. Specifically, Ben Turk and Lexi Babovac have made our job so easy, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with Legacy for years to come!

My husband and I came across Legacy South while navigating the home buying process for the first time. After having a really terrible experience going under contract with a national builder, we landed at Legacy South and fell in love with their beautiful design and their intentionality of building in the Nashville community. The fact that they are a local builder and actually care about cultivating communities speaks volumes in our process with them -- it's something that would be rare to find from national builders and something that is unprecedented in the home-buying process.
We visited Soren by Legacy South in the Madison community multiple times, and every single time, we were given so much time and consideration. The level of investment our sales agent, Vicki, gave us was unparalelled, purposeful, and devoted. It was literally unmatched, and she turned our terrible home-buying experience around so quickly. We never felt like we were being sold to but like we were being welcomed into a genuine and honest community.
We've lived in our Legacy South home for 30 days now, and our experience hasn't changed. Their 11-month builder warranty is easy to navigate and incredibly responsible (i.e. we had an uneven shower door that was fixed witin 2 days). There has already been a "meet your neighbor" get-together and we feel like we could literally pop in to the office anytime to chat about anything we would want to without hesitation or regard for bothering anyone on the Legacy South team -- it's kinda wild. Again, their connection with their homeowners is intentional and the best experience we could have ever asked for when purchasing a home.
If you're looking for a builder, I'd highly recommend these guys. Also, the design of their builds is so stunning. We bought a modest home, but the finishes are remarkable and very well done. 10/10 -
We are very happy with the relationship and work we have completed with Legacy South. The company has also become an influential partner in changing the way we think about new development. We all understand that change is inevitable, but the process of how we implement change is what makes all the difference. We must get in the community to get to know the community to better understand the community's needs. We are very happy that Legacy South has committed to working with us to create more affordable independent senior housing for rent for gap seniors on fixed incomes.

We worked with Kaylyn Lewis and she was an absolute delight! She made the process seamless and made sure we were informed at every step. Even when we asked for special requests she was open and honest and made it happen. The condos look great and the craftsmanship is excellent. I would recommend Kaylyn and Legacy South to anyone I know.

My Company, Artisan Direct, works directly with Legacy South Builders on Sales and Marketing of New Homes in the Nashville TN market. They are fantastic to work with. Jenna, Sadie and Lexi have been very professional and easy to do business with. I am sure the home buying experience would be the same. I recommend Legacy South Builders and their team highly.

I just completed a custom home with Legacy South. Chris Harvey was my project manager. There is not enough time or room on this review to praise Chris. He was attentive, knowledgeable,
organized and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Chris
and Legacy South if you are looking for a reputable builder.
All of the companies they recommended and subcontractors
were also wonderful. -
I recently had the pleasure of working with Vicki, affectionately known as ‘Momma V’, at Legacy South Builders, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional.
From the moment we stepped into the model home at Soren, she exuded warmth and professionalism. Her title as ‘Momma V’ couldn’t be more fitting, as she instantly made us feel like part of the Legacy South family. Patience seemed to be her superpower, as she took the time to understand my client’s needs, preferences, and concerns. She was an unwavering pillar of support. Her kindness and genuine interest in ensuring my client’s satisfaction set the tone for a cherished memory instead of a transaction.
As a fellow real estate agent, I must say that Momma V’s expertise and dedication are truly impressive. Professionalism is paramount in my line of work, and she stands out as the epitome of excellence. Legacy South Builders is fortunate to have such a stellar sales counselor on their team.
Thank you, Momma V, you are without a doubt the heartbeat of Legacy South Builders! -
We live in a Legacy South home and absolutely love it! While it wasn’t a custom-build, we got to pick between a couple of design packages - the fixtures, tile, flooring, etc. picked for us were all perfect! They are the right mix of trendy and classic and all are great quality. The design team certainly knows what they’re doing!
-
We purchased our home in 2020 from Legacy South. We still 3 years later love the design just as much as we did then! Working with the design team was such a great experience! Highly recommend if looking for a unique and custom design for your new home!

While considering different areas in the South to retire, Brad with Legacy South took us on a tour of some of the newer build projects Legacy South has to offer. We loved all the design options, but especially the decorative details in some of the models. Paint color, wall designs, tile, appliances, and lighting are all the finer enhancements we would consider having in our next new home. The items all seem well coordinated in all the homes we visited. There are lots of windows. This natural light is a huge plus. I look forward to seeing more of the new homes soon.
