SWAT was assigned the service issue I had reported to American Home Shield. SWAT was very responsive, and scheduled the service quickly, assigning a technician for the same. Andrew, the technician, was professional, on-time, who also diagnosed the issue and addressed the same quickly.

I was forced by my home warranty company, American home shield, to have them come out to assess a broken shower drain which I paid $100 for. They didn’t do a thorough evaluation and later concluded it wasn’t covered under the warranty. The plumber couldn’t even find the pipe that needed to be fixed without being shown where it is. They later said it wasn’t covered and said it would cost about $475 to fix. It took $87 and 45 minutes of my time to fix. What a waste of time and money.

Thanks to Austin for handling our “can of worms” when our water heater broke. He had a tough job on his hands but was a great help! And prompt and friendly!!

Understandably this week has been tough on a lot of Texans and I commend the labor force who has been on the front lines around the clock since last week, helping getting people back on their feet. Having lost power and then having no water due to a pipe burst definitely didn’t make things easier. I was excited to hear when dispatch called today and were able to come a day early. Alek was incredibly helpful, courteous and professional and appreciate his help today. (This post is no reflection on him)

I was charged $125 for a diagnostic -identifying the leak by opening up ceiling and wall to understand problem. When my home warranty rejected coverage, I was then on the spot told it would cost $875 out of pocket to repair the leak. As nice and as courteous as my technician was, there is just absolutely no way 45 minutes of labor and under 18 inches of PEX should cost as much as his management was telling him to charge me. Being in a position with a family having no water for several days and understanding that plumbers in the area were booked out for weeks now, I was forced to pay the inflated fee out of desperation.

When assessing who I wish or recommend others to do business with in the future, it will be easy to warn people of the price gauging that ownership of this company was doing during a state emergency. I’m still in shock and hope other companies aren’t preying on desperate folks during these hard times. Simply unethical.

We were EXTREMELY happy with SWAT plumbing. We dealt with Brian V and Daison L. Both of these employees are the type of employees that a company wants to keep as long as possible! Extremely friendly, pleasant, knowledgeable and polite. If they were my employees, I would give them a raise!

I’ve used SWAT now 3 times. I’ve been in my 25 year old home now a year and half and all my issues seem to have been plumbing so far. I always request Carlos because I developed trust with his skills, his professionalism and kindness. This latest issue when I scheduled service, SWAT sent out Rhett and he was able to quickly diagnose that my irrigation valve was old, broken and needed replacing and explained to me about the city permits will work. Rhett was very knowledgeable, also very kind and professional and was quickly immersed in this larger scale job with the valve permit, and how he tested everything after he was finished to double check nothing else in my plumbing system was broken (Carlos did this as well). It poured rain this morning while he was outside working but that didn’t slow him down.

I will keep on using SWAT based on these two professional and licensed plumbers who are not just there to put a bandaid on an issue but really are thorough and do things right. I highly recommend both Carlos and Rhett and applaud SWAT on the talent and skill levels of the plumbers they hire.

Called the folks at SWAT on the weekend, they were here within 1.5 hours and got us back to fully operational with our plumbing issues! Definitely would recommend them and utilize this company in the future!

Do not do business with this company. They were assigned to me by American Home Shield. I waited a week for a simple toilet "shut off valve" replacement. The day of my appointment (confirmed), no one showed. They left a message at 8pm letting me know that they wouldn't be here (really)! I was told they would call to reschedule. They sent me a text the next morning letting me know that I was next on their route. Didn't bother to ask if I was available. I spent another day waiting with no plumber. Meantime. I had to cancelled two other contractors that were waiting for the toilet repair. My project is now delayed while AHS starts the process all over again. Zero customer service.

Ruben from Swat Plumbing came out to fix a persistent drip coming from the drain valve on our water heater. He arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the issue, and explained everything clearly before starting the repair. He was professional, respectful, and made sure the area was clean when he finished. The dripping is completely gone now, and everything is working perfectly. I really appreciate the quality of work and the excellent customer service. Highly recommend Ruben and Swat Plumbing to anyone needing reliable plumbing help!

Had the misfortune of twice being sent Swat by American HomeShield. Recently a leaking kitchen sink was also blocked. Swat attempted to unblock and we’re very aggressive resulting in two glass items being broken. Of course they denied responsibility. They said I needed to run a camera down the pipe to diagnose the issue at an initial extra cost of over $300. I declined and called another plumber who solved the problem without issue.
Previously a leaky pipe (not covered by Home warranty) resulted in SWAT giving me an excessive repair estimate and also telling me I had a slab leak that would cost $2000 to locate and a few thousand more to repair. I declined their services and a reputable plumber repaired the leak more quickly and after a quick treat rubbished the nonsense about a slab leak.

SWAT reps contacted me in advance to make sure I was home. The service rep identified the cause of the leak, fixed it, and explained what I needed to do to prevent future issues. He was very professional and courteous. I’ll use them again if I have to.

I requested S.W.A.T Plumbing through AHS. What an amazing experience, the customer service was expectacular and the technician Cody N.came very fast, it took him seconds to figure out what the problem was. He was very respectful, knowledgeable and efficient. It feels amazing when you know you can trust a company in doing their job correctly. I would highly recommend this company

Trevon from SWAT plumbing went above and beyond to explain what he was doing and recommend care of our pipes in the future. As a long shot he opened a drain trap to search for my lost wedding ring. It was not there but now we know to keep searching. A+ all the way around!

Updating based on the owners reply: no one ever reached out

Had a plumber out on a monday to replace/repair some bad cartridges, left a mess and one of the cartilages they replaced was still bad and had a leaking faucet after they left. They then couldn’t come back out for 4 days to fix their mistake and couldn’t even put back the faucet properly. Handle came right off to find out that nothing was screwed back in or set. Would not recommend

SWAT Plumbing recently replaced our tankless water heater and fixed a leak for us in our parking lot at the Green Pickle Grill in Glen Rose. Their techs were very professional and clean as well as making sure we were happy with the work performed. We would definitely recommend their work
