We had 8 large trees in our yard which needed to be pruned and trimmed. The owner, Derek, was extremely responsive and wonderful to work with. Prior to the work beginning, Derek and I discussed how to prune and/or shape each tree. His team completed the work promptly, just as we discussed, and did a great job, including cleaning up and hauling off all debris. Derek checked in after all the work was completed to make sure we were completely satisfied.

It was a pleasure working with Derek. He is very personable, knowledgeable, honest, and provides excellent service.

I highly recommend using Lumberjack Tree Service and will definitely use them for all future tree needs.

Two rather large tree limbs fell on our house on a Saturday. I called Lumberjack Tree Service, Derek Hebert (owner) answered the call promptly and agreed to route to our location. He was here within an hour or so! We had another company come out just prior and he refused to even take the job. It was a rather dangerous situation as the limbs were large and sitting on top of our home and could potentially shift and fall off. Derek put our minds at ease immediately, quoted a VERY fair cost and had a crew out within the day to begin removal. A crew of 4-5 people arrived, were very professional and began removal with care. They took their time and were careful not to cause more damage to our new roof than the tree had already caused. The crew made sure, before they left on Saturday, that all limbs that were causing a safety hazard were removed. They arrived promptly on Monday morning to complete the removal and the stump was ground the next day. We have several other trees that will need removal and I wouldn't trust anyone but Lumberjack Tree Service, Derek and his amazing crew!

I highly recommend LumberJack Tree Service. They recently trim my 25 yr. old oak tree. Derek was great to work with. They followed up with me several times while the crew was working. The crew was did an amazing job cleaning up after they finished the job.

Derek trimmed trees on all three of our properties that have everything from 30ft tall live oaks to tree we planted a few years ago. His team trimmed, shaped, and thinned all of the trees so they not only look great from the street, but our grass looks better as well.

These guys were fantastic. I had a tree fall during a storm and they came out on a Saturday while it was raining and actively storming to take care of me. Great service and excellent communication. Reasonable price and one of the few people willing to come out in such nasty weather on a weekend for me!

Derek came out and gave me a quote for my 3 trees in a timely manner. He was reasonable and professional when he walked my property as he described what my trees needed? I loved the way Derek took his time with me showing me all the branches that were needed in pruning in order for the grass to grow under my Red Oak. He also has a team that does amazing stone border around my landscaped beds. This is my second time to use Lumberjack Tree Service. If you want a professional highly qualified Tree Service? Derek & his crew at Lumberjack Tree Service did a great job today cutting down a tree in the Hills at Firewheel neighborhood. A recent storm had snapped a tree at the entrance to our neighborhood & Lumberjack came out to take care of removal in a timely & professional manner! Great communication and service! We hired Derek and his crew to trim up two very large oak trees and remove an old stump. They did a fantastic job. They were on time and the price was very fair. Would highly recommend and will definitely be using them again!

Lumberjack Tree Service is great! Our Bradford Pear trees are aging and dropping huge branches that have fallen into our neighbor’s yard (fortunately not on houses). Derek and his team have taken great care of our trees since we moved here 3 years ago. His team works hard to get the job done, clean up ALL the debris, and are kind and respectful. On top of all this, the charges are very reasonable. Lumberjack Tree Service is the answer you are looking for.

BEWARE: This company is horrible at communicating with its customers. When I first called, Derek came over that day to give me an estimate. I texted Derek the following day to let him know that we're interested in using his service, but I received no response. I then texted him the following morning and asked, "Are you interested in trimming our tree?" but again NO RESPONSE! The following week, I called him and he said that he would do it either Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning. He NEVER showed up nor bothered to call me back. This is very unprofessional and not the type of company that I would want to do business with.

Update: We had Lumberjack Tree Service out to our place again because, well..trees grow! Last winter when we had a bit of ice the weight of it caused the tree to drag across the roof when the wind blew. It was a long night. Derek’s guys came out and removed the lower parts of the branches that were positioned over the roof so we won’t need to worry about that any longer. They also removed the downward growing branches from the rest of the tree so we keep her facing skyward. She us a beautiful Oak Tree and we’d like to keep her strong and healthy. We also have a Bradford Pear that is trying to die on us. I wanted to cut it way back to see if we could get a few more years out of her and the crew did an awesome job keeping her looking descent while removing a bunch of limb length without removing the entire limb. I was amazed. True artistry.
Previously:
I was very concerned about the damage last year’s winter weather did to my Live Oak. Lumberjack Tree Service came by quickly and we made a plan to trim dead wood from 2 trees and remove a couple of Cypress that weren’t looking too happy. We also gave the Live Oak a boost of nutrients. The team was prompt and very thorough. They cleaned everything up - and that was a big deal! I believe their pricing is competitive regarding the tree trimming, but I didn’t check into the nutrient feed an I was just so pleased with everything being taken care of so quickly and professionally. With some luck we’ll have these trees for years to come!

The team came out and cut down two trees and trimmed up two trees in my backyard. The team was incredibly courteous and personable. The job was done with excellence and our backyard looks great! Derek, the owner, is one of the best guys you will meet.

Derek was very responsive. Made a call about a large tree spliting on Friday morning. A real person actually answered the phone. Derek came out Friday afternoon, evaluated the tree, gave me an estimate, and had the crew there on Saturday to complete the work and save the tree.
