Very professional, down to earth and gave me reasonable pricing that beat five other companies I received estimates from. Gave me his personal phone for any emergencies or questions. I’ve called twice because I’m a new home owner and single mom and have no clue about plumbing . He walked me through my questions and put me at ease. With an emergency under-sink leak in my kitchen earlier this week, I went down the list of Arlington-area plumbers on Google, calling each one, and being turned down by each for same-day service. Then I reached Best Value Plumbing and Master Plumber John Thatcher. John, who was already busy with other jobs, MADE time to come out and take care of my problem. He has been out twice now, even fixing a couple of problems he didn't even charge me for. He has been totally accommodating to my schedule, and he did the required faucet replacement in a timely, thorough, professional manner - and at a reasonable price.

John is a dependable, no-nonsense, get-the-job-done-right professional who takes and returns phone calls, and who shows up when he says he's going to and does what he says he's going to do. Those traits are hard to find in contractors of any kind these days.

John is easy to get a hold of and does great work! I used him to replace my water heater and he did a fantastic job. I also had him back to check my gas fireplace and outside faucets and he didn’t charge me anything. I highly recommend him!

Called Best Value Plumbing and he arrived promptly within the day I called. Fixed my blocked bathroom drain at a fair price and was completely professional and friendly. He also noticed some less than desirable plumbing from our AC condensate line into the same sink and replumbed with no issue. Great service and would highly recommend. John was able to fit us in to repair several toilets. He did what he could but both toilets had unusual pieces inside their tanks. He did get them to stool running.

John did a great job! He installed 2 toilets within 2 hours. Not bad for a one man operation.

Called "The Plumbing Service" (Brent) number a few times before I got him because he is so busy (but worth it!). Once I reached him in late afternoon, he was professional, set up appointment to come out and look at my slab leak issue that day. Got me an appt with leak locator for next morning who was reputable and fast. Brent worked us into his schedule ASAP, explained the repair options and gave a tentative quote based on info he had at the time. When he opened up the wall, he LOWERED the quote as it was not as bad as he expected. Amazed me as "American Leak Detection" people quoted a higher price on their initial inspection and when I called in to get their service they changed the price over the phone to add another 2K to the base price. Whereas Brent from The Plumbing Service came in under the quote, kept at the job until it was fixed, a few hours, even though I made a change at the last minute in materials I wanted. I would highly recommend him and intend to use his service as long as he is in business.

Brent was the most pleasant person to work with. I called several different places to help me diagnose the issue with a front yard water leak.
