Deanna is wonderful, we couldn't be happier. We are fortunate and impressed to have a conscientious person like her to clean our home.

I highly recommend Amy and her company- she is very easy to communicate with and actually cares about your needs!!

We continuously have to call and ask management to reach out to the crew to actually clean the office. Normal things- wiping counters, cleaning floors, etc. And the crew brings in their children. Same things are being addressed over and over.

Though we haven't had any issues at all, as the point of contact for Building Stars, I still get regular visits and inspections, but yet to have any issues. Thanks Alex for you commitment to customer service!!

We love our cleaners so much! They are part of our school team and we are grateful for their consistent, conscientious care of our school buildings so that our children can have a safe, clean environment. Montessori is all about the prepared environment, so it's wonderful to have our cleaning team be a part of that vision.

I have attached all the emails between Alex and myself regarding the poor & inconsistent service that was received from Building Stars, we will not be paying the bill as we had never gotten a full service from your company.
There is no way that your crew leader Jane with her I don’t care attitude is a professional cleaner she did what she wanted and didn’t care about anyone else including Alex, my office was appalled with her shrugging her shoulders and throwing her head back when I was talking & showing Alex
Things that were missed on the clean that is not how a professional person representing your company should be acting.

When your crew set off the alarm we did not send the bill often the crew was out of here in 90 minutes and it showed when we came in on Mon and then they no showed us without even Alex knowing and I never did get an answer as to why.

11/12/24 - reply to the owner that commented... You cleaned for our company, so you may not know me directly by name, but you had a contract with our company, and that is what my review is from. So not a bogus review, it's real from 7 years ago!

I have printed off the contract of what they are supposed to be doing on a weekly/monthly clean, and they dont. I have been in contact with a manager that has come out and made promises but nothing happens. The cleaning guy stated that our desks are dusty Monday morning, bc the ac vent produces dust, and thats why from Sat/Sun to Monday we have dust on our desks. But clearly its due to non cleaning. The kitchen area is never cleaned, the walls are never cleaned, the floors dont looked vacuumed or mopped. The only thing they do, that i can tell is take out the trash and leave. We havent gotten a decent or full clean since we had the contract. I have tried calling the company, with no return calls. And we are charged over $200 for trash taking out, I can do that... So disappointed with them, dont hire!! Also came in the AM and our AC was turned up to 87 degress, it is so hot in here, leaving the door open to get the heat out, since its cooler outside!

Buildingstars of Austin has been our Janitorial service provider for nearly three years. They have always provided great service but during the pandemic the cleaning crew met every challenge that we threw at them at our medical facilities offices too. They even covered satellite clinics when other cleaning other cleaning companies were unable too. Although the company is an independent contractor, we consider Buildingstars as part of our clinic family.

Building Stars has been very professional and reliable with their services. I highly recommend them for your commercial cleaning service. Amy Wright is so easy to work with!

Building stars has cleaned our facility several times and does a great job! Mike, has been great to work with and Mr. Brown is super friendly and an extremely hard worker. We just had a floors deep clean and they look AMAZING!!! Highly recommend!

Building Stars have been a joy to work with. They offered an appropriate cleaning schedule and assigned a worker to my office who was reliable, trustworthy, thorough, and timely. I have experienced other cleaning companies in the past. Building Stars stands out above and beyond!

I've known and worked with Building Stars for over 10 years in the Austin market. Amy and her team have always been great to work with. Mr. Brown has been doing floor work for as long as I can remember and has great experience with all things cleaning. Great people doing great work!

Jeremy was extremely polite & knowledgeable about cleaning carpet. He was very thorough making sure spots were removed the best he could. Strongly recommend Jeremy.

DO NOT USE STANLEY STEEMER.

This was one of the most uncomfortable and unprofessional service experiences we’ve ever had. The technician who came to our home appeared unprepared, erratic, and hostile from the start and clearly did not want to do the work we scheduled.

Upon arrival, he reviewed the pieces we wanted steam cleaned and immediately tried to avoid cleaning multiple items we had called about, despite the appointment being booked in advance with full details provided. He continually looked for reasons not to clean anything at all and seemed to be actively trying to wiggle out of doing the job. He eventually agreed to clean only the mattress and one couch.

He became fixated on insisting stains on our mattress were urine, despite us explaining multiple times that we do not have pets and there was no such issue. The stains were small and along the edges, which made this claim even more questionable. It felt like this was done to push odor protection, only for him to later realize we had already purchased it, proving he had not reviewed the job details at all.

After “cleaning” the mattress, there was no visible improvement. It was left extremely wet and stayed soppy for over 72 hours, far longer than the 24 hours we were told. He claimed the stains would not come out because they were urine, despite making that determination before attempting any real cleaning. He did not use any cleaning products at all, only our water.

For the couch, he said his supervisor recommended shampooing. After watching him use only steam, we asked about the shampoo. He said he didn’t have any, contradicting both what he had told us earlier and what we were told when scheduling. Minutes later, he suddenly produced a bottle and said he could “spot clean,” which raised serious concerns about honesty and competence.

He spent only a few minutes cleaning, made a single pass on stains, refused additional passes, and said he wasn’t going to try because they “wouldn’t come out.” He cited time constraints, said we weren’t his only customers, and told us to “just buy a new couch.” The furniture was left extremely wet with no improvement.

When we asked reasonable questions, his behavior became angry and intimidating. We asked him to leave because we no longer felt safe. He sarcastically said “Thank God,” packed up, and left his equipment on our porch. He then returned to our door to threaten collections for partial payment despite the service being incomplete and ineffective.

A manager later called but showed little concern for our experience or the technician’s behavior and was solely focused on collecting $135. We were ultimately sent to collections for that amount.

We hired another steam cleaner afterward, AlexCleanPro, who we highly recommend. He removed all the stains easily, cleaned all the furniture we originally requested, finished in under two hours, and everything dried within six hours. He told us Stanley Steemer technicians are paid by the hour and often have little incentive to actually do the work, preferring to drive around giving estimates. That explanation perfectly matched our experience.

This experience was stressful, intimidating, and completely unacceptable. We still feel unsafe in our home and regret inviting this technician into our space. Stanley Steemer failed in professionalism, competence, honesty, accountability, and customer care. Save yourself the money and stress. Hire literally anyone else.

William was very thorough & explained our invoice clearly. He provided us with great directions for making sure how to get our carpets & upholstery dried properly. We will definitely request him again! What a great service member!

Kin was very professional and efficient! He cleaned all the carpets extremely well and they turned out impeccable without any residual stains! Highly recommended!

The scheduling process and the communication from the technician was excellent. I got my carpets deodorized and I wasn't happy with the results. Stanley was proactive, reached out to me and asked if everything was okay, and when I told him I wasn't happy they came out and cleaned it again. That's good service

Was given a 4 hour window and they pushed it back twice. Luckily I was available all day. The actual service was very good. Thomas did a recommendable job.

The person that did my carpet and the tile floors did an excellent job. He’s a great guy. This is the second time he’s come over. I’m very happy with his work. He’s a good worker and a nice person. Kudos to him.
