Since Roberts Services installed our new HVAC system, our house temperature is more constant, the noise levels are lower, and our electric bills have been lower than ever before. Excellent work and friendly service are rare commodities these days, but these guys totally deliver.

We have a Trane system and were getting error codes and the thermostat was not communicating with the unit. Zack came out and solved the problem quickly and fixed the problem. He was very professional!!! I would highly recommend Service Wizard for all your heating and A/C needs.

Our service tech Dominic came right at the scheduled appointment time. He was very knowledgeable and courteous and had good suggestions. It’s a great experience and we will definitely use them again

Super happy with Evan's help today. He solved a problem easily that has been plaguing us since our new system was installed last February. And he did our twice yearly service, too. He was kind to our crazy dog, too. Everything is working properly and ready for winter.

I completely trust this company!! We had Adam, Diego & Dominic today. All were friendly, professional & knowledgeable. I feel like we are keeping ahead of potential problems by using their twice a year check up system.

TL;DR: meh. They got the job done but it was kind of expensive and the customer service wasn’t amazing. I don’t think I’ll use them again but my experience wasn’t super horrible.
My AC stopped working, I spent a day or two trying to fix it myself with no luck. I felt defeated and called service wizard. It was okay. Here are my pros and cons
** to be clear, this was NOT an emergency appt **
Pros:
- Mike came and he was nice, competent, and worked quickly.
- my AC is fixed (it ended up being a clogged drain which I think would’ve been easy to DIY)
- they had lots of availability and came on time
Cons:
- it was originally $450 just to clear the drain. It’s a $90 diagnostic fee that does NOT go towards the repair. maybe I’m cheap but that seems like a lot to unclog a drain.
- plus, they were having a deal for $50 off repairs, and I had to ask him to apply it and show him the website. Idk if he knew about it and didn’t want to give it to me or if he was unaware of the deal.
- They give you a discounts if you sign up for their cancellable membership. so that plus the $50 off deal got it down to ~$320 for a 10 minute job. I don’t think that’s wildly over the standard unfortunately but I still think it’s kind of a lot. Especially after $130 worth of discounts for a non-emergency appt.
- was a bit disappointed in the customer service. Apart from having to ask for the $50 off, there were two other things I wasn’t a huge fan of. First: I removed the electrical panel off my AC unit to replace the capacitor but that didn’t work and the part was also too big so I ordered a new one in the right size. While I waited for the appt/for the capacitor to come in, I left the panel off for like 12h until the appt since I figured they would def remove it anyway. I also imagined they would offer to replace the capacitor. (Maybe that was entitled of me? I’ve had other repairmen come and offer similar things after cheaper and harder repairs so I guess I figured they would totally do it. It also only took me like 5m and I imagined it would take a pro 30s. Maybe that was wrong of me to assume.) anyway. When the tech was leaving he said “also you left your electrical panel off 🤨?… you should probably replace that… a kid could get into that so..” then I was like “oh yeah I just left it off overnight bc the capacitor doesn’t fit and I was kinda um.. idk I have the new capacitor here … so” and I chickened out of asking him to replace it and just kinda trailed off. he was like “gotcha. Okay well bye” HAHA. And I also wondered, if I hadn’t removed it myself, wouldn’t he have removed/replaced it anyway? Idk.
The other small thing. he told me when he unclogs the drain it could potentially clog the sink it drains to. Then he was like “yeah and you’re gonna have to unclog that… you just have to take the p trap off and clear it. I can’t do it though, it’s a liability for me to touch that … so.. :/“ which maybe if that was the only thing I wouldn’t have minded but. I guess I just think it’s kind of a stretch to say clearing the p trap is a liability. Idk. Maybe it is. I just generally felt like the customer service was the bare minimum, especially given the fact that it was a $450 job. You’d think they’d be willing to spend 3 extra mins to help out if they’re getting $450 (or even $320) lol.
So yeah can’t say I’m a huge fan but if you’re in a pinch or whatever they’ll fix your problem. -
The techs were so thorough, showed me pics of my system and what issues they found. Very nice guys, Scott and Darren! We are customers of many years and will hire no one else! Thank-you, Service Wizard!

Diego did a great job. Explained things thoroughly!
And suddenly a hallway light switch that hadn’t worked properly since HVAC installed over 2 years ago is now working! -
Javier serviced my AC last month and he earned 5 stars across the board. I highly recommend him. Javier was knowledgeable, thorough and very friendly. You couldn't ask for a better experience. Service Wizard has a great employee in Javier!

EJ was excellent. He knew my system, quickly diagnosed the problem, and installed new parts. He was also very knowledgeable able future items I am concerned about, like disinfecting my ducts and options to sanitize the future airflow.

Mike, Adam and Gilberto did a fantastic job resolving my issue with the AC. They were able to come by on short notice and make a repair at a fair price. They explained what the problem was and made sure I understood what was being done. I highly recommend!

My service agents for HVAC replacement, installation and 6 month inspection and filter change were outstanding. Professional and efficient. I have always received great response time and service. Thank you Service Wizard!!

Matthew Turner, the service technician, answered all the questions that I had. He was also courteous, and he was thorough and careful. This was an HVAC inspection. The Service Wizard protection plan (Wizard Rewards) was a good deal to pay for this.

Scott Bandy came out to service my gas furnaces. He changed the filters and helped me pick out a new outtake grille cover. Showed me how to measure it too. He was so nice and helpful today. 👍

Javier did a very thorough job of servicing our main unit and mini-split. He took his time in explaining issues he saw that might contribute to mold and allergens, showing the issues with numerous pictures to back up his findings. I have been very satisfied with Service Wizard, and am enrolled in their service plan which made the visit and work done complimentary today. Javier was very professional.
