Highly recommend Big Air Con. & Heating! On time and excellent work done on an emergency call that I made to them. They really came through when I needed the work done and were very professional. I will use them again on any and all of my ac and heating issues from now on.

Let me start by saying our a/c has been out since May 5th.. and MARTINE FROM BIG AIR CONDITIONING & HEATING HOOKED US UP HIS FIRST TRY! Call, him. look around if you want to lol but call this dude.
There were 2 other companies that came out and it still wasn't working and despite one of their 4.5 start reviews one of the other companies was more like a 1. I wasn't given an update on what repair was done at all. Just a "Well if it works who cares" .. Me. I do.

The other company I will say was helpful with investigation.

But Martine heard that I had some knowledge of HVAC, sat down with me and listened to everything that was done before him (before touching anything) asked me questions back and told me step by step what he was doing, and what the problem was.

He was the first to go in the attic and after a few readings and talaking with him, he found that some vent actuators were blocking air to the whole downstairs! He explained that the low suction was failing to pull enough heat out to change the freon to a vapor from a liquid, and that there may be a leak somewhere.

I think he's coming back to assess the leak but.. the first time this a/c has worked by itself all day long.. Thank you so much Martine!!!

Martin and his team are very knowledgeable and are quick to diagnose the problem. They are always willing to make recommendations to keep your system running smooth. They answer all your questions, and their repairs are done flawlessly.

These guys were such a huge blessing. AC went out in the TX heat and you can imagine the urgency to get it fixed. I called in the morning and they were here by mid morning working on the issue. They were professional, worked quickly, explained everything and got my AC up and running in no time. Price was very reasonable and they even followed up later in the night so make sure it was still working properly.

I called about my A/C stopping and starting for days. The guy who took the call was very patient with me and let me go through the whole story. They were booked for the day(middle of August)but said they would fit me in and they DID!! The guys who arrived were so kind and courteous. They worked very quickly to resolve my problem. I thank him for going out of his way to drive 2 hours.
After he completed his job we even ran the AC unit to make sure there was consistent airflow throughout the house and he make sure that I was satisfied with his work. Again great job & tanks.

Martin is super customer focused and very knowledgeable. I have used Martin’s help at both my previous residence and my current one. Martin has always been able to accommodate me in <24 hours and fix issues in first visit. I have referred Martin to friends and they have had similar experience as well.

Had multiple issue with the HVAC system of my older house. Martin evaluated the system, explained recommended upgrades and took his time and did it right. Could not have been happier and I wouldn't use anyone else. My electric bill even went down. These guys know what they are doing, they care. So much better than a larger HVAC company.

Scam Warning: our A/C cut out so I called them and booked an appointment this morning.

Repair person came out, took a look at the HVAC and said they were going to go get the parts and would be back in an hour. The repair person never came back or called/texted us with any updates.

The temperature of our house right now is in the high 80s and we have a newborn, so my wife and I called several times for updates but every time it went straight to voicemail.

Since it’s been nearly 7 hours and still no response, I figured I would go to the office to see if anyone could help us get this fixed today. The address provided in the listing isn’t their office, but instead takes you to a dead end street.

A day wasted thanks to this company, and since the house isn’t safe to stay in with a newborn we’re forced to make accommodations elsewhere.

Mr. Martin came out to my house late at night and was able to diagnose and fix our AC problem right away and saved us from having to go to a hotel due to this hot Tx heat. If you ever need help please call him up as he is always willing to help.

Martin was very professional and prompt. Upon seeing the AC unit it seemed he had an answer within a few minutes on what was wrong. He spent a good amount of time taking care of the issue and quickly reached back out to let me know everything was good. Best of all was that Martin was very open and communicative about talking about the issue and the solution and how to maintain the unit so that the issue wouldn’t happen again in the future.

Marteen has been taking care of my HVAC unit for over 10 years. I wouldn’t recommend anyone but Marteen to take care of yours. Best service in the Austin area.

I’ve been having a hard time getting someone to come out and service my mini split. They came out got it all cleaned up, made sure everything was running, and gave me information on how to have it run efficiently. I highly recommend them.

I highly recommend this company Martin and Lee are very knowledgeable and trustworthy. They took the time to educate me about my AC system. Also they wore able to work on my unit the same day. Will continue using Big Air conditioning & Heating.

Martin was very attentive to my heating and cooling needs. He’s very knowledgeable and does very good high quality work.

My AC had been out for about a year mainly due to lack of knowledge and improper diagnosis. But come winter so AC had become less of a problem. Well AC weather is here again and another work order placed. Was told by other companies it needed a coil and would return to replace it but no avail. No one came back. And this was a well known AC company. So a call was made to Big AC & Heating and employee Martin was sent out to my residence. He displayed quick and courteous service, diagnosed the problem and returned with parts and replaced.! He stayed and made sure system was working and cooling properly before he left all while keeping a professional attitude!! I will always recommend your company over ANY AC company around!!
