We had an urgent plumbing situation on 06/28/2025, Reliant was called and came to assess the issue. They recommended a repair that would cost $750, the amount was paid and we agreed on a date for the following day.
Reliant only did NOT show up (we had to find another plumbing company) but also have not refunded the amount we paid! After many calls to address the issue they said that the refund would be in our account with 7-9 weeks, surprise surprise we did not get it. Called again and we were told that it was sent to be refunded and we would have to wait another 4-6 weeks… SURPRISINGLY it has been 19 weeks that they’re hold on to my money and we just get excuses from them!

Alan Torres was GREAT!! We had a difficult plumbing issue, plugged commode, which I have had three times before over the month of August. Local plumber did an ok job and got commodes unplugged but didn’t examine the problem further. And they charged me a different amounts each time they came on a week day. Alan came on a weekend which I knew would be costly and was but he did give me a discount due to my age which was appreciated. But he was very friendly and checked issues beyond just the commode. He was VERY knowledgeable and after he left gave me possible options to replace the commode, which I intend to follow up on soon. We will definitely contact Reliant again to discuss a new commode and ask for Alan. Just won’t do it over a weekend. 🙂 Very pleased!!

Wanted to check the water pressure coming into out house. Reliant showed up next day which was nice. The tech was super courteous. The bad part is thay they charged me $400 to put a gauge on a bib and tell me my pressure was just fine. That's outrageous! Can't say that I would recommend after that.

Great service! He quickly identified the issue with my dishwasher drain hose, explained everything clearly, and fixed the installation. Very helpful and efficient. Would recommend

The first crew was careless and scratched up our master bath jacuzzi tub badly. They also were careless with removing floor tiles, with sloppy cutting that required me to replace a lot more tiles than needed. A second crew came out and did good work, so I paid them trusting that they would fix the damaged bath tub, but they stopped returning my phone calls and after 6 attempts I just gave up. DO NOT HIRE Reliant, you don't know if you'll get the good crew or the bad crew.

Roman was incredibly helpful and explained everything clearly, making our plumbing situation so much easier to understand. He was friendly, professional, and overall great to work with—highly recommend!

Reliant installed a pressure relief valve and two external faucets at our new home. We were quite pleased with the quick and wonderful service we received. Rates are reasonable too and we will definitely be using them again. I recommend Reliant if you're looking for a great plumber in South Austin.

Reliant's plumbing technician, Edward Paker, who diagnosed the issue we were having was outstanding! Mr. Paker is extremely knowledgable, thorough, customer-focused, and professional. He listened attentively to my description of the issue (limited hot water flow at multiple fixtures), asked pertinent questions, shared his initial thoughts with me, and explained what he could do to further diagnose the issue. He walked me through everything he was doing, found and explained the issues, described the repairs to be performed, and provided options for the fixtures that needed to be installed (a PRV and a new faucet). Anyone who calls Reliant for plumbing services should ask for Edward! I certainly will the next time I need a plumber.

Brent was the technician dispatched for our service needs. He was on time, thorough, and explained everything he was doing as he went. He was very knowledgeable and I feel confident that he had my best interests in mind. Brandi was the person who helped get me scheduled and she was great too.

Called Reliant this morning after I discovered a water leak from my PRV earlier in the week and they were able to send Alex out almost right away to take care of things. I am beyond impressed with the company and Alex’s energy and enthusiasm. Will definitely call the guys at Reliant again - if this ever happens again. Hopefully that won’t was be the case! Alex was very prompt with a last minute appointment for leak detection. He was extremely knowledgeable and pointed out a couple of things for us to keep our eye on. We would definitely use this service again.

We had major repairs to our outdoor plumbing system which required reinstalling pipe and repairing a water leak from the main water pipe. Even though I wasn't at home, Brett was able to handle everything professionally while keeping me informed with phone calls and videos. He even drove out to my location to pick up my check to save the fee on the credit card transaction. Big thanks to Brett and his crew at Reliant!

Roman, did a fantastic job with my serious plumbing problems and fixed the water pipe. He was able to correct the issuses created by a previous plumbing company. I would highly recommend him and his company.

When we called on a Saturday late a technician (Alex) arrived the next day 7am and repaired the leak! He was knowledgeable, very friendly and accommodating. We are pleased that we were able to rely on Reliant 👍👍.

Highly recommend Zach. We have had him out several times for different issues and he’s always extremely helpful. Very informative regarding the situation and also provides preventative and maintenance advice. Can always rely on Reliant to do a great job.

Reliant was quick to respond and extremely professional from start to finish. Communication was clear and consistent, with regular updates and photos of who to expect onsite, which mattered a lot given the environment we were working in. Efficient, respectful, and well run. Appreciated the attention to detail.

They have an aggressive sales approach in which they will quote you 3-4x the normal amount and then provide a "manager's discount" to make it essentially double the normal price. If you get a quote from them, highly advise you to seek other opinions or google what's reasonable. Don't fall for their "membership," because 10% off an outrageous price is not useful. They did an okay job on my sewer line replacement but I would not use them again for other work because of their tactics.

They actually sent me a quote for $800 to fix a toilet, when a new toilet costs $350. I fixed it myself using parts purchased at home depot for $20. How dumb do they think people are?

We had our water heater go out on New Year’s and called Reliant to come out the next day and the plumber came right out early morning then the installation was done 2 hours later. They got us up and running for us. Definitely recommended the service. 🥂♥️
